Abstract

Guru yang terampil dan mampu mengembangkan keterampilan dasar mengajarnya akan membantu siswa dalam memahami materi yang di sampaikan oleh  guru. Proses pembelajaran berlangsung tanpa berpedoman pada kerampilan dasar mengajar guru. Hal ini terlihat dari anak didik atau siswa yang hanya diminta untuk mencatat dan mengerjakan tugas yang terdapat pada buku panduan tanpa diberikan uraian penejelasan terlebih dahulu. Sehingga peserta didik memperoleh pelajaran langsung dari buku panduan tersebut tanpa ada proses tanya jawab dan penjelasan tentang materi tersebut. Dari perhitungan terlihat bahawa r hitung sebesar 0.736 sementara r tabel sebesar 0.325 dengan demikian koefesien korelasi r hitung/robservasi lebih besar dari r tabel (0,736≥0,325) sehingga disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dengan pernyataan terdapat hubungan positif antara variabel X dengan variabel Y di SMPN 28 Mesumai kabupaten merangin. Dari data yang diperoleh dapat diketahui bahwa r hitung sebesar 0,736 jika dikonsultasikan dengan r tabel sebesar 0,325 pada taraf signifikan 95% maka (rhit 0,736 > rtab 0,325). R hitung lebih besar dari r tabel, hal ini menunjukkan hubungan positif antara sikap siswa terhadap keterampilan dasar mengajar guru dengan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran biologi pada konsep sistim pernapasan pada manusia.

Abstract

Food is important both for growth and maintaining life vegetables have nutritional advantages because they are consumed in a raw state so that the nutrients contained in them do not experience denaturation or change. But the benefits of vegetables will not be useful if the vegetables contain E. coli bacteria that enter the digestive tract. The study is a laboratory descriptive experimental research. The study was conducted at a street , treders pecel lele found on Bangko City's Sumatra Cross Road. The number of samples in this study were 13 street treders selling pecel lele. Sample examination was carried out in the STKIP YPM Bangko Biology Education Laboratory. Data were analyzed by univariate. From the results of the study found two positive E. coli cabbage and positive Coliform in all samples of cabbage / cabbage.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of data on the types of lichen in the TelukWang Sakti Area and the research on the types of lichen in Merangin is verylacking. Lichen can be found in the Teluk Wang Sakti Area because it has naturalconditions that support lichen growth and development. The purpose of thisresearch was to find out and describe the types of lichen in Teluk Wang Sakti. Thistype of research used a qualitative descriptive research. The research method usedwas the method of reconassance (roaming). The location of the research wasconducted in Teluk Wang Sakti and on the edge of Jl. Lintas Bangko-Kerinci.Lichen found in Teluk Wang Sakti is 60 species including 11 genera and 10families : Parmotrema and Parmelia (Family Parmeliaceae),Graphis (FamilyGraphidaceae), Dichosporidium (Family Rosellaceae), Arthonia (FamilyArthoniaceae), Dirinaria (Family Dirinariaceae), Cryptothecia (FamilyCryptotheciaceae), Lecanora (Family Lecanoraceae), Megalospora (FamilyMegalosporaceae), Lepraria (Family Leprariaceae) and Caloplaca (FamilyCaloplacaceae). Teluk Wang Sakti Area has an average temperature of 27.9oC and82.3% humidity. While on the edge of Jl. Bangko-Kerinci crossing around thefactory has an average temperature of 42.2oC and humidity of 36%. The TelukWang Sakti Area is indicated to have better air quality compared to the edge of Jl.Bangko-Kerinci crossing around the factory, due to the lack of types of lichen foundand the presence of Parmotrema sp. type of lichen used as a bioindicator of airpollution.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to study the conservation of aquatic resources based on local wisdom through the management of the Lubuk Larangan at Guguk Village, Merangin District, Jambi Province. The method that used in this study is a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with informants selected by purposive sampling of key informants there are Village Heads, Customary Figures, Religious Leaders, Community Leaders, and Lubuk Larangan Managers. The results showed that Guguk Village has a Lubuk Larangan that located in the Batang Merangin river named Lubuk Larangan Ujung Tanjung. The purpose of the Lubuk Larangan is as a means of conserving aquatic resources and for increasing village income. There are rules and sanctions for the community regarding the management of Lubuk larangan. Economically, the existence of lubuk guguk village was not satisfactory compared to other areas which are likely caused by illegal gold mining activities in the Batang Merangin River and other rivers which disrupt river ecosystems.

Abstract

Vegetasi riparian berperan penting dalam menjaga produktivitas perikanan sungai. Di samping itu, vegetasi riparian juga berperan dalam pengendalian masuknya nutrien dan bahan-bahan toksik yang masuk ke perairan serta menyimpan air tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah tingkat keanekaragaman vegetasi Riparian Sungai Tabir.  Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan analisis vegetasi yaitu metode garis berpetak. Analisis vegetasi dilakukan pada tingkatan pohon. pembuatan petak contoh yang dibuat pada sisi kiri dan kanan sungai sebanyak 6 transek dan masing-masing transek sebanyak 3 plot/petak sehingga total plot sebanyak 18 plot/petak. Analisis data meliputi penghitungan Nilai penting (NP) dan Keanekaragaman jenis (H’) dari Shannon-Wiener. Hasil yang diperoleh untuk tingkat pohon terdapat 12 jenis dari 9 famili. INP tertinggi yaitu jenis Ficus racemosa dengan INP 48,3 dan H’ 0,29. Untuk pohon tingkat tiang, ditemukan 20 jenis tanaman yang tersebar ke dalam 14 famili. Nilai INP dan H’ tertinggi yaitu Hevea brasiliensis dengan INP 27 dan H’ 0,22. Untuk kategori pohon tingkat pancang, ditemukan 14 jenis pohon yang tersebar ke dalam 9 famili. Nilai INP dan H’ tertinggi ditemukan pada Clidemia hirta INP 29,80 H’ 0,28. Keanekaragaman vegetasi riparian Sungai Tabir tergolong sedang untuk tingkat pohon, tiang dan Pancang.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of research on the siamang in hutan Adat Guguk of Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. The purpose of study was to determine and describe the siamang population based on the size of the group, the composition of age and sexual rasio in the forest of Adat Guguk Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. The method used is a concentreated area method with three observation stations and used the Rappid Assesment to record food and rest vegetation of siamang. Data was analyzed descriptively. The result showed that the siamang group found in the study area were 2 groups (5 individuals ) and 1 solitary male. The distribution of age classes in the individual adult phase is 5 individuals the sapling phase was 1 individual and the baby phase werw not found in the siamang group in the hutan Adat Guguk. The seksual ratio value of the siamang group in the adult phase is 1:1, for the solitary male the sexual ratio is 1:0 and ato the juvenile  phase could not identyfied the sex of simang because the sexual chaarteristic of had not developed perfectly.

Abstract

The research about exploration and morphological visualization of freshwater Molusca (Gastropod and Bivalvia) in Batang Merangin river had been done. The research aims to observe the species of freshwater Gastropod and Bivalvia in Batang Merangin river and characteristic of each species. The method that have been used in this research was quadrant method. Three quadrants sized 1 x 1 m were settled at each station, and all Molusca spesimens that found inside the quadrants were collected and put on labeled container. The Molusca that captured was collected, cleaned, identified and characterized. Result of research showed that 3 species of Gastropod and 2 species of Bivalvia were found. Those are Terebia granifera, Melanoides tuberculata, Thiara sp, Rectidens sumatrensis and Pilsbryoconcha exillis.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine kind of favorite food of some german cockroach strains, that were VCRU-WHO ( Susceptible strain), PLZ-PDG, GFA-JKT and KRSA-BDG. Some foods used in this research were pineapple, strawberry, peanut and chocolate jam. Observed data consisted of presence frequency and total consumed food for 96 hours observation. The result showed that highest presence frequency of VCRU-WHO, PLZ-PDG and KRSA-BDG was on pineapple jam, with average frequency were 17, 18.50 and 17.25 times, while in GFA-JKT was on strawberry jam (10.5 times). The highest food consumption level of VCRU-WHO, PLZ-PDG and KRSA-BDG was on pineapple jam with average weights were 128, 69 and 104 mg, while GFA JKT preferred to strawberry jam with average weight was 45.50 mg. There was different food preference between GFA JKT which preferred to strawberry jam and others which preferred to pineapple jam. Regression analysis resulted in an equation, y = 2.19 + 50.37 and R2 = 0,27 or r = 0,52, P< 0.05. This analysis showed that there is positive correlation between presence frequency and total food consumption but not significant.

Abstract

Mikroteaching is a compulsory course that must be addressed by biology education students in the curriculum of KKNI. This course is followed by students of semester VII. In the implementation of microteaching, students will be taught first how to develop RPP (learning implementation plan) and material about basic skill of teaching teacher. This teacher's basic teaching skill consists of: open learning skills, closing lesson skills, material explaining skills, strengthening skills, small and large group coaching skills, classroom management skills, variation in learning, and questioning skills. The method in this research is direct observation by observing the students who practice teaching in front of the class which is analyzed by quantitative descriptive method. Its population is 61 people and sample 23 people. Based on the result of the research, it is found that the average of basic skill of good teacher teaching.

Abstract

A skilled teacher who is able to develop his basic teaching skills will assist students in understanding the material presented by the teacher. The learning process takes place regardless of the basic skills of teaching teachers. This is seen from students or students who are only asked to record and do the tasks contained in the manual without the description of first explanation. So that learners get a lesson directly from the manual without any process of question and answer and explanation of the material. From the calculation seen that r counted for 0.736 while r table of 0.325 thus the correlation coefficient r count / robservasi greater than r table (0.736≥0,325) so it is concluded that Ha accepted with statement there is positive relation between variable X with variable Y at SMPN 28 Mesumai regency merangin. From the data obtained can be seen that r arithmetic of 0.736 if consulted with r table of 0.325 at a significant level of 95% then (rhit 0.736> rtab 0.325). R count is greater than r table, it shows a positive correlation between student's attitude toward basic skill of teacher teaching with student learning result of biology subject on concept of respiratory system in human.
