Abstract

In this journal review the views of humanistic psychology towards students who often play truant . Which it will discuss : the sense psikl Ogi humanistic, historical brief emergence of humanistic education and pen ge rtian humanistic education , as well as reviewing the behavior of ditching. The selection of this humanistic approach is not without reason, because the cases that occur with students who play truant are related to the element of humanity. Where the meaning of education in humanistic is the process of humanizing humans, so what is the background students play truant and unable to actualize themselves. So just like the counseling process we deal with individuals tailored between cases and what approaches are right to solve them. The purpose of this study is to find out why students often play truant , then study humanistic psychology . This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used were structured interviews. Data analysis technique used to process data is qualitative data analysis. The research subjects were 1 student and 1 counseling teacher as a source triangulation. The result is students often play truant in the play station game, because they feel less attention from parents (fathers). In conclusion Students who are less attentive than parents have a behavior of their own accord.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a module for the development of freestyle swimming teaching materials using trial and error methods as a medium for learning implementation, a module for developing learning or free style swimming training to facilitate swimming trainers and as an alternative method that can be used by trainers or teachers in learning freestyle swimming. This research is a type of development research with reference to the opinion of Kaufman, (1979) which researchers have developed with the current situation, the product developed is a freestyle swimming learning or training method with a trial and error method that contains learning sequences and learning with a psychological approach to swimming students. Product development through several stages began testing learning design experts and swimming material experts, then making questionnaires validated by swimming material experts and also sports psychologists, then in field trials, testing small groups and students, testing medium groups and students and large group trials. The place for testing in the swimming pool is insan cendekia krian, the data collection technique uses a questionnaire by assessing the responses of swimming students and in analysis using descriptive statistics that are presented in percentage form. The results of this study indicate that, the product validation test by learner design experts with a percentage of 88.4% was very good, a pool material expert with a percentage of 95% was very good, in swimming student trials with a small group trial with a percentage of 84.8% very good , moderate group students with a percentage of 87.9% were very good, and large group tests with a percentage of 91.7% were very good. Thus the module for developing swimming learning using the trial and error method is feasible to be used by trainers or swimming teachers.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to analyze the definite referring expressions of the Prophet Muhammad's Implicated Speech and its Educational Value. This is qualitative study with the data in the form of dialogical utterances speech involving two parties, namely the Prophet Muhammad and his best friend. While the source of this research data is a collection of valid hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim. In this study, the data collected was analyzed with an explanatory comparative technique with Miles and Huberman's flow analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and inference / verification. The results of this study indicate that the expression of certain reference in the implied implications of the Prophet Muhammad can be identified based on certain sciences, such as mathematics and linguistics. The use of this knowledge base is adjusted to the number and type of certain reference expressions used. By using a certain knowledge base, all definite reference expressions in the explicator can be identified so that the meaning is clear. Clarity of meaning that is associated with the context of communication or shared knowledge in this case is an important property of understanding implicates. For further explained, the expression of reference must be in the process of refinement, the process of refinement is in the explanatory, the exploitation is in the implied speech, the implied speech is in the pragmatic or speaking practice. This shows that the expression of reference must be at the point in speaking activities. The use of definite reference expressions, thus implies high-level speaking skills. Higher-level speaking skills are even better when identifying certain expressions of reference in the speech used requires mastering knowledge in mathematics, linguistics, and so on. In other words, the better the quality of a speech if the speaker is conditioned to operate the multidisciplinary knowledge he has in identifying the expression of certain reference because it has educational value.

Abstract

Industry 4.0 is the state of the industry in the face of the 21st century when there is a massive change through technology that opens a barrier between the digital and physical worlds. There will be many types of jobs lost, and new types of jobs will emerge. Faced with this, high mastery skills are required by graduates. In vocational high schools the mastery of skills is done by sending students directly into industrial work practices. But are IWP activities really able to be used to improve skills in dealing with Industry 4.0? What types of skills students must master when dealing with industry 4.0 This article will conduct a study of various related literature about IWP and industry 4.0. The results of the study will link the effects resulting from IWP activities and needs in industry 4.0. The results of the study indicate that the IWP program in vocational high schools needs some improvement to be able to produce vocational high school graduates who are ready to face industry 4.0.

Abstract

The study aims to determine student learning outcomes with direct and problem-based learning models,to determine differences in student outcomes with intelligence levels in direct and problem-based learning models, and analyze the relationship between intelligence levels and direct learning models and problem-based learning models. The method  used in this study was experimentation using factorial research design. The design used is 2x2 factorial design, as this design can be used to see students ' learning outcomes before they are given learning and after learning. The results of the study found that: (1) Student learning outcomes using PBL  models are significantly higher than those using MPL;(2) student learning outcomes who have higher mathematic logic intelligence using  PBL  models  are significantly higher than students who are taught with MPL models;(3)student learning outcomes who have lower mathematic logic intelligence using MPL models are significantly higher than students who are taught with PBL models;(4) There is a significant interaction between the level of intelligence of mathematical logic, learning models in student learning outcomes. The study concluded that:  (1)  The  PBL  learning  model  can  increase  the  student learning outcomes than MPL models;  (2)  Students  who  have  a  higer mathematic logic intelligence using PBL models, higher learning outcomes than student with MPL models;(3) student who have a lower mathematic logic intelligence using MPL models, higher learning outcomes than student with PBL model, and (4) there is an interaction between the level of intelligence of mathematical logic, learning models in student learning outcomes

Abstract

Teaching research at a university becomes important because it reflects the quality of the academic institution, this quality is measured through scientific production, which is product of teaching and research experience. The objective of this investigation was to determinate the relationship of research competencies and scientific production university teachers in several institutions located in Peru. The methodology developed was of quantitative approach, correlational level, non-experimental design; two instruments were applied to 205 teachers who taught courses related to research competencies. The first variable, research competencies, had three dimensions: development of research projects, methodology of research projects, and use of APA style, constructed and validated previously by Ceballos and Tobón. The second variable, scientific production, whose authors were Rodríguez and Rivas it consisted of four dimensions: project training, training in scientific publication and dissemination, project implementation and scientific visibility. The questionnaire contained of 21 items, whose valuations were through the frequency Likert scale (1=never, 2=rarely, 3=occasionally, 4=frequently, and 5=very frequently). Spearman’s rho determinate a high ratio (r=0.788) correlation between the two variables (research competencies and scientific production). The dimensions of research competencies were also correlated with the main variable scientific production, finding that development of research projects, methodology of research projects, and use of APA style have a positive relation (r=0.702; 0.821 and 0.658). The main conclusion is that teachers who are in charge of research courses have greater possibilities of having scientific production, such as publishing scientific articles in indexed journals, but there is a flaw that predominates this group over the application of the APA Style Standards, suggesting the need to develop workshops for writing scientific articles.

Abstract

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum in Indonesia’s education still faces many obstlacles. One of them is the lack of appropriate  teaching materials, it causes difficulties for both students and teachers during teaching and learning process. This development aims to produce a student worksheet with used guided discovery learning model for student grade X, analysing the appropriateness of the worksheet, and analysing students responses on the developed worksheet. The type of this study is Research and Development. Development model used in this study is the one according to Branch that is ADDIE which consists of analyse, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed a content worthiness score of 87.21% with very decent criteria, presentation worthiness of 89.09% with very decent criteria, linguistic worthiness of 83.64% with very decent criteria and graphics worthiness of 89.67% with very decent criteria. The average of the four components of the study and validation was 87.37% with very decent criteria. While the average score of the percentage of student responses was 83.13% with very good criteria. So it can be concluded that the Student Worksheet (LKS) developed was stated to be very suitable for use in the learning process and obtain positive responses from students

Abstract

This study aimed to produce a guided inquiry learning science model through flipbook media which is appropriate for training critical thinking skills for junior high school students on the Human Respiratory System material. The development of the device is a modification of the 4-D model which was tested on eighth grade students of the junior high school even semester semester 2019/2020 and was repeated twice. This is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design and the data collection uses the method of validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. The research data generated are validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning devices analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that (a) learning devices developed were categorized as very valid, (b) learning activities were carried out very well with an average score of 3.69, (c) student activities in learning were carried out very well, (d) student responses to learning inquiry was very good (95.99%), and (e) the results of students' critical thinking tests had a high increase, critical thinking skills increased from 28.37 (Very Less Critical) to 81.21 (Critical). The conclusion of the science learning device with guided inquiry learning model through the developed flipbook media is appropriate to be used to train students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study intends to describe the impact of multicultural education in Social Studies Learning of junior high school. This type of research is qualitative with the method descriptive. The subject of this research is the component (Teacher and students) Middle-School 6 Sidoarjo. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion shows that Multicultural education in practice for social studies education learning in the classroom runs smoothly and students can be carefully conditioned to have an effect and have an impact, among others: Be tolerant in accepting all differences, because the difference is God's grace, does not discriminate (discriminate) friends who different beliefs, do not force others in terms of beliefs (religion), give freedom to others to choose beliefs (religion), do not interfere with other people with different beliefs when they worship, keep on interacting and behaving well with people who have different beliefs in worldly matters, respect others who are worshiping, do not hate and hurt the feelings of someone who has different beliefs or opinions from us. It is hoped that these forms of tolerance will bring positive energy which will not trigger disputes or quarrels between students.

Abstract

This study investigated the student’s attitude during distance learning at SMP Angkasa Kuta - Bali. The impact of the corona virus outbreak (Covid-19) has also been felt by the education sector. Studying at home is a good way to break the spread of the corona virus. Distance learning is carried out with the supervision of a teacher and parents. This is what distinguishes distance learning from independent learning. In distance learning activity, one of the way to communicate each other is by sending text message. Most of the students are not accustomed to use written language well in formal communication. This activities requires them to text the message word by word to their teachers. Studying attitude in language helps all stakeholders in various ways. This can investigate effective student attitudes with the teacher using good language. In addition students can be confident, learn politeness in language with different learning styles. Students have their own language attitude in communication. In addition, they also have diverse views about the learning process. The data sources chosen in this study were the students of SMP Angkasa, Kuta-Bali. The analysis is done by descriptively method. To make the analysis clearer, all of data were completed with explanation and supported by the cart to show percentage of the data. The theory from Richard, Platt, & Platt (1992) about Language Attitude used to analyze the various kinds of language attitudes. This study used questioner to get some reason of the language used by the students as well.  This study found that there are two classifications of language attitudes used by students in communication using written language. Both Language Attitudes of students in terms of their Behavioral and Language attitude in term of their emotional are found. Based on this classification, student prefer use negative language attitude in their respond to the teacher. The reason why some students prefer use negative language attitude in their respond to the teacher have been found by the result of questioner.
