Abstract

ABSTRAct The Mala-Mala site is a burial site that has a variety of archeological remains, so far we can still find one of them, namely ceramics. The purpose of this research is to find out the shapes and variants of ceramic forms contained on the Site. This study uses a concept foundation that is the concept of ceramics, ceramic parts, and niche concepts. This research is analytical descriptive by using inductive reasoning, with data collection methods through literature study, field observations, sample selection, and interviews, then the data analysis stage is form analysis and then followed by taxonomic classification methods. The results showed that the results of the analysis of farmen forms container edges, container edges, and container bases, in the form of bowls, plates, and container covers. The analysis of the ceramic form above has shown that there are 10 edges of the container consisting of 8 variants, 7 edges of the container consisting of 5 variants, 22 container bases consisting of 9 variants. Abstract

ABSTRAct Tombs of Petta Pallase-lase’e and Datu We Tenri Olle are an object of archaeological heritage in the Tanete region, based on are shapes of the two tombs are very unique and contains hostorical elements of cultural and religious developments in Tanete region. The purpose of this study was to determine the shape and variety of the king’s tomb of Tanete, and to find aut cultural elements that influenced it. The research method used is descriptive analytical consisting of several stages, observational, interviews and documentations. The result showed that the shape of the king’s tomb of Petta Pallase-lase’e is stepped pyramid and the shape of the Datu We Tenri Olle’s tombs is dome. In addition there are also decorative arts, namely architectural, and decorative, motive are geometric motives, flora, and inscriptions. Through the shape and variety of the two tombs that element of tombs was influenced by Megalithic, Local, Hindu-Buddha, Islamic, and Colonial cultures that developed in the Tanete region. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Waburi niche complex site is the first prehistoric site found in South Buton District which has archaeological remains in the form of rock art in four niches surveyed on Konawe Beach. This study discusses variations in the form and technique of rock drawing at the Waburi niche complex site. The research method used is a picture description and rock shooting which will be processed using D'Stretch software for sharpening colors and shapes. In addition, the classification of forms is based on their attributes and analysis uses morphological and technological analysis to determine the diversity of image shapes and drawing techniques at the Waburi niche complex site. It is known that rock art at the Waburi Ceruk Complex Site have 87 rock images with pictographic motifs namely boat and hand drawings, ideographic motifs that are diverse geometric drawings and psychographic motifs which are abstract drawings. Abstract

ABSTRAct This study aimed to discover and describe the shape and technology used to make pottery in Lia Gusi. This study used qualitative study and inductive reason which is observing until concluding using data collection method which consisted of observation and literature review, and as processing the data morphology, technology and stylistic technology were used. The result showed the illustration concerning shapes of the pottery found in Lia Gusi. Other than that, the technique in making the pottery in Lia Gusi was found. There were 30 fragments of pottery as samples which consisted of 13 edge fragments, 6 neck fragments, 3 carcinogen fragments and 8 decorated fragments. From the total of it, there were 11 fragments that were able to be reconstructed which they could make 3 jars, 1 bowl and 7 pots and 6 neck fragments of jug type. Based on forming technique analysis that was conducted there were 3 forming technique on Lia Gusi pottery, they were massage, slope gaze and slow turning wheels technique. And there were 4 techniques found in forming decorated fragments in Lia Gusi pottery, those techniques were inseced, impressed, applied applique and a combination of inseced and applied applique. Abstract

This research user descriptive qualitative research. The data collection stage was through literature study and field observations. Analysis of research data using morphological analysis, contextual analysis. Based on research results, the Old Tamosi Old Village Complex Dining Site had a rectangular shape consisting of jirat and headstone. The grave is made of river stone that is not patterned or decorated. The Old Tomb Site of Old Tamosi Village had 16 tombs consisting of 15 Islamic tombs and 1 megalithic tomb, 2 tombs have a tomb and headstone and 14 tombs have a tomb without a tombstone. Some tombs are influenced by Islamic and Pre-Islamic elements, visible megalithic elements and megaitic Islamic elements marked by tombs that have a northwest-facing tomb. Tombstones and jirat which are above jirat not added ornaments. From the forms of the tomb can be described Simbune village community already has the characteristics of Islamic and megalithic culture. Keywords: Old tomb, Tamosi, shape, cultural elements.

Abstract

Muna merupakan wilayah yang banyak tersebar peninggalan arkeologi berupa gua. Gua Liang Kabori merupakan salah satu situs gambar cadas yang terdapat di kabupaten tersebut. Gua Liang Kabori terletak di Desa Liang Kabori, Kecamatan Lohia, Kabupaten Muna. Gua Liang Kobori memiliki variasi gambar cadas yang berbeda dengan situs lain di wilayah Sulawesi Tenggara. Oleh karena itu, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian disitus tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk dan variasi gambar cadas pada Situs Gua Liang Kabori. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pengumpulan data lapangan berupa perekaman gambar dengan cara reproduksi gambar dengan skala 1:1. Selain itu, pengelompokkan gambar menggunakan klasifikasi dan deskriptif untuk mengetahui keragaman bentuk gambar cadas pada situs Gua Liang Kabori. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan penulis, diketahui bahwa terdapat 186 motif gambar yang tersebar pada 46 panil. Gambar-gambar tersebut memiliki bentuk yang bervariasi baik dari segi motif maupun cara penggambarannya. Adapun variasi gambar tersebut terdiri dari motif figuratif; manusia, binatang dan tumbuhan. Sedangkan motif non figuratif terbagi dua yaitu geometris dan abstrak.

Abstract

Based on preliminary observations at Ilete Cave located in Ululere Village, Bungku Timur District, Morowali Regency. In Ilet Cave there are quite a lot of archeological findings such as bones, earthenware fragments, and conch shells. The following environment around the Ilete Cave is composed of the surrounding community plantation land. Based on the issues raised in this study are: (1) What is included in the Ilete Cave of East Bungku District. (2) How is the function of the Cave based on the findings in the Cave Ilete, East Bungku District, Morowali Regency. This study uses the archeological theory of cultural history. This type of research used in this study is qualitative inductive criminal model. Data collection in this research was carried out through literature study, observation or field survey, observation and interview. Analysis of the data applied by the historical method then begins with contextual analysis. The research site shows that the Ilete Cave Site has several artifacts such as pottery fragments, ceramic fragments, bone fragments, teeth and mollusk fragments the authors draw conclusions of the Cave site with the community and reading results.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the types of damage and the factors causing the damage and solutions to repair the ancient manuscripts collected by Abdul Mulku Zahari in Baadia Village, Murhum District, Baubau City.Research using qualitative research with inductive reasoning is drawing conclusions from things that are specific then states it into things that are general in nature, with data collection methods consisting of observation, literature studies, interviews and documentation. The results of research there are several types of damage and ancient manuscripts in the collection of Abdul Mulku Zahari in Baadia Village, Murhum District, Baubau City, namely: pen streaks, yellowing paper, black spots, ink seeping and widened, torn and faded writing. Factors causing damage to ancient manuscripts in the collection of Abdul Mulku Zahari In the Baadia Village, Murhaum District, Baubau City are divided into four factors causing damage, namely: damage caused by temperature and humidity including fungal factors caused by human damage that comes from the owner or colleagues. fellow of the owner of the manuscript itself, damage caused by insects including termites, rats, nerds and cockroaches, damage factor caused by nature, caused by water that causes ink to seep and widen so that the writing on the manuscript is not clearly read and makes the text corrupt . Efforts to prevent damage to the collection of Abdul Mulku Zahari manuscripts are to put anti-insect drugs such as mothballs and Slica Gel and regulate air temperatures and humidity that are ideal for ancient manuscripts, so that fungus does not multiply which can damage the ancient manuscripts. as well as digitizing scripts to maintain script files in order to stay awake in digital form.

Abstract

This study describes the architecture of the Sumber Kasih Church building in Kendari District, Kendari City. The purpose of this study is about the characteristics of the Sumber Kasih Church building, influencing factors in church architecture, and church architectural style. This study uses a study of architectural concepts and tropical architecture. This research is a descriptive qualitative type with inductive reasoning using architectural, stylistic, and morphological analysis as supporting analyzes in this research. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the Sumber Kasih Church building has uniform and simple characteristics. The characteristics of this building can be found on the church roof which is in the shape of a saddle, the shape of the gable roof is made with a slope of 40º to function as to drain the falling rainwater. The gable shape of this church is also often found in the houses of local people. Based on the factors that influence the architectural form, the Sumber Kasih Church building is influenced by two factors, namely cultural factors and climatic factors. Based on its architectural form, Sumber Kasih Church is influenced by tropical architectural styles and traditional architecture of the local culture.

Abstract

The Kamali Baadia traditional house as the last palace of the Buton Sultanate, combines the traditional architectural concepts of Buton and Colonial architects, for this purpose the research aims to find out the architectural form, explain the colonial architectural forms that affect the architectural characteristics of the Kamali Baadia traditional house and to determine the significance of the influence of Colonial architecture on the architectural form of the Kamali Baadia traditional house. This type of research is qualitative, primary and secondary data sources, literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation using morphological analysis, technology, style and significance analysis of component changes. The architectural form of the Kamali Baadia traditional house is a stilt house with an L-shaped floor plan arranged two floors facing North. The Kamali Baadia traditional house is divided into three components, namely legs, body and roof. The influence of Dutch colonial architecture on the Kamali Baadia traditional house is the Indische Empire Style architectural style with a floor plan on the first floor, a shield roof, a two-leaf door inside motif and a two-leaf window as well as an internal motif. Significant analysis of the sign by the influence of Dutch colonial architecture Indische Empire Style architecture has not been significant.
