Abstract

Cikampek District is one of the sub-districts in the Karawang Regency located in the Southeast part of the Karawang Regency area. Cikampek sub-district is one of the areas that is growing rapidly due to the development of industrial allotment areas and urban settlements. This study aims to determine the flood inundation that must be addressed immediately. The research method was carried out by observation in the field and interviews with related parties. Based on the results of research in the District of Cikampek, there was inundation with an area of 274 Ha, inundation height of 10-40 cm, drainage time of 3 hours / day, and inundation frequency (9 times / year) due to overflow of secondary drainage channel namely Cikaranggelam River. There are three priority areas that the drainage system must immediately address, namely Desa Cikampek Selatan, Dawuan Tengah and Dawuan Barat.

Abstract

This paper presents the failure analysis of acceleration pedal of xx vehicle. The purpose of this research are to know the cause of failure, types of failure, and approach in searching for the best parameters that yield optimal product quality on product design. This research uses the known test method, where the type of failure and results of analysis compared with the result of expected product reliability. The simulation uses CATIA V5 software involving types of load that applied on product, length, size and dimension of product, and types of material. Simulation result data is used for see the influence and effect of each parameter to the product design, also the types of failure that will affect the product reliability

Abstract

With the passage of time the heavy equipment unit will experience a decrease. In order to return the unit to its initial performance, the Reman manufacturing process is abbreviated as Reman. Reman is an activity carried out to keep heavy equipment units close to performance when first created.PT UT site Adaro is trusted by its customers to do Reman specifically for Komatsu PC 2000-8 type excavators. In the implementation there was a delay in the implementation of the work process to 80 days. Therefore, a program was created to reduce the total leadtime to 45 days or down by 44%.

Abstract

Information needs for one's color perception are needed in the fields of medicine, engineering, astronomy, biomedicine and so on. The demand for accurate assessment of color perception must be met by the perception detection tool used. Ishihara's test, as a perception detection tool that is still used today has insufficient accuracy. This research aims to create a system that can detect a shift in one's color perception, relative to the average color perception of a number of respondents. Through plotting the respondents' perception points, in the CIE coordinate system (Commission International de I'Eclairage) XYZ can be calculated the average euclidean distance, ED, relative to the reference point and the distribution of x and y groups of perception points around the point of reference. Both size, euclidean distance and distribution are used as indicators of average color perception so that an assessment of one's color perception is given based on the results of comparison between color perception points and color perception indicators. The tool used to do the test is Delphi version 7.0 software. the research material used is the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color image format. The results of a person's color perception study are divided into three levels, namely: (1) "normal" assessment if euclidean (ED) perceptions are smaller than the euclidean (ED) average (2) the "somewhat normal" assessment if the distribution of x and y is smaller rather than the color of perception and the distribution of x and y (3) the assessment is "abnormal" if the color of perception is greater than the max distribution of x and y. A new perception point assessment that is in level one is used to up-date prevailing perception indicators. Up-dating condition constraints affect the quality of the threshold average perception specifically and the quality of the results of the perception detection system in general.

Abstract

Autonomous navigation is absolutely necessary in mobile-robotic, which consists of four main components, namely: perception, localization, path-planning, and motion-control. Mobile robots create maps of space so that they can carry out commands to move from one place to another using the autonomous-navigation method. Map making using the Simultaneous-Localization-and-Mapping (SLAM) algorithm that processes data from the RGB-D camera sensor and bumper converted to laser-scan and point-cloud is used to obtain perception. While the wheel-encoder and gyroscope are used to obtain odometry data which is used to construct travel maps with the SLAM algorithm, gmapping and performing autonomous navigation. The system consists of three sub-systems, namely: sensors as inputs, single-board computers for processes, and actuators as movers. Autonomous-navigation is regulated through the navigation-stack using the Adaptive-Monte-Carlo-Localization (AMCL) algorithm for localization and global-planning, while the Dynamic-Window-Approach (DWA) algorithm with Robot-Operating-System-(ROS) for local -planning. The results of the test show the system can provide depth-data that is converted to laser-scan, bumper data, and odometry data to single-board-computer-based ROS so that mobile-controlled teleoperating robots from workstations can build 2-dimensional grid maps with total accuracy error rate of 0.987%. By using maps, data from sensors, and odometry the mobile-robot can perform autonomous-navigation consistently and be able to do path-replanning, avoid static obstacles and continue to do localization to reach the destination point.

Abstract

In the current industrial era a lot of progress from machine technology or methods used by companies in their production systems. So that the system of production and productivity in the company takes place effectively, safely, and efficiently. One way to achieve this is by paying attention to the occupational health and safety (K3) of the employees in the company. The identification of work accidents used in this study uses the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) method. In the work system in the PDAM there is work that is vulnerable to work accidents such as in the field of maintenance or maintenance on machinery, water treatment production systems, and work carried out in the workshop. From the results of field observations at the PDAM Tirta Kencana workshop and interviews with workers, there were 50 potential hazards that existed at the PDAM Tirta Kencana workshop and were then classified according to the type of sources into 12 sources of hazards. There are 3 levels of work accident risk from hazard sources obtained from the risk matrix assessment, which has the potential to cause work accidents. The level of risk is an extreme risk of 1 source of hazard, a high risk of 5 sources of hazard, and a moderate risk of 6 sources of hazard. The proposal of the results of this study is to conduct OSH training, conduct work supervision, and perform maintenance on machinery and equipment.
