Abstract

One of the West Nusa Tenggara Governor's (2018-2023 era) mission is to encourage industrialization. This research tries to provide answers related to opportunities in the fisheries sector for industrialization and its challenges. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach. Qualitative (primary) data was obtained by conducting interviews with several experts in marine and fisheries and through FGD with related agencies. In contrast, secondary data was obtained from the fishing and marine services of (DKP) NTB Province. The results showed that NTB's fisheries were still relatively large in production and the area of fish land (capture and cultivation). And also, Non-fish production is suitable to be used as the main source of industrialization. However, several obstacles that need to be addressed, such as low human resources, infrastructure, supervision, and law enforcement of illegal practices in fisheries, low fiscal support and coordination among stakeholders, have not been resolved. Data validity is needed to be related to fisheries aspects, cross-stockholder forums such as Maritim product investment forums consisting of government, academia, and the business world, and directing industrial development towards the industrial Maritim cluster (ICM).

Abstract

Cities in Indonesia continue to improve, both physically and non-physically, to become smart cities. This is also the function of the city as the center of activity in a region. On the other hand, some cities have a history with their old cities. This old city asset deserves to be maintained, preserved, and developed as a city tourism destination. This study aims to identify how a city that has old city assets can manage its assets as a city tourist destination, then to identify the potential of cities in Indonesia and to make stages that the city must carry out if it wants to utilize the assets of the old city as a city tourist destination. The study method used is to explore the city in the management of the old town area so that it can get a picture of what is being done by comparing it to several other cities in the world and related to the prerequisites of a destination as city tourism. The results show the stages that can be used as a reference for the city to develop the old city. The results of this study need further deepening, related to the recommended stages and the need for Delphi methods, as a form of FGD with experts in their fields where this activity is indeed multi-scientific background. So that the governance of material and intangible cultural heritage can be achieved without neglecting the various values that must be fulfilled. It is hoped that this phasing can serve as a raw model in the management of the old town (cultural heritage) in other cities

Abstract

Village funds distributed to every village, especially in Bone Bolango District, are for development purposes and community empowerment. This study aims to determine the balance model of village fund management through Village-Owned Enterprises (Kemendes PDTT, 2019). The research method used is a mixed-method (mix-method) by recording quantitative data and qualitative data through in-depth interviews for any information given to village heads and village officials in Bone Bolango District, Gorontalo Province. The results showed that community involvement in creating balance is fundamental to realizing a prosperous society. Although, on the other hand, the problem of managing village funds is that they are not maximally used to incubate poverty, have not been on target, or have not matched the potential of the village; the focus of development is still oriented towards infrastructure, which is still found in the field.

Abstract

This research is motivated by economic growth, a goal for a country supported by economic development. However, economic growth in Indonesia during the years 2010-2019 has not shown an ever-increasing result at the national level, and poverty and inequality have not been able to decrease. This condition is contrary to the goal of achieving inclusive economic growth. This study aims to measure and analyze Inclusive Economic Growth and the factors that influence it. This study uses two analysis methods: the Poverty-Equivalent Growth Rate (PEGR) model analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with time-series data. The results show that inclusive economic growth in Indonesia has not been consistent every year in the last decade. The time-series data regression analysis results show that the variables of government spending on education and spending on health have a significant effect on inclusive economic growth. The government expenditure variable in education has an inversely proportional impact on inclusive economic growth, while the open unemployment rate (TPT) variable has no significant effect on inclusive economic growth. Efforts that can be made through government policy implications are strengthening the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) to vocational education. Health facilities, health programs through additional facilities, recruitment of medical personnel to maximize health Indonesia cards, and BPJS.
