Al-Hikmah: Jurnal Fakultas Dakwah dan Ilmu Komunikasi yang diterbitkan kali pertama pada bulan Apil 2009. Sejarah pemilihan nama Al-Hikmah terinspirasi dari “Bayt al-Hikmah” yang menjadi pusat intelektual dan keilmuan pada masa keemasan Islam. Jurnal Al-Hikmah ini bertujuan membangkitkan kemajuan intelektual Islam terutama dalam bidang Ilmu Dakwah dan Ilmu Komunikasi melalui publikasi ilmiah. Jurnal Al-Hikmah ini menerima dan menerbitkan artikel hasil penelitian dalam bidang Ilmu Dakwah dan Ilmu Komunikasi atau yang terkait dengannya. Jurnal Al-Hikmah ini diterbitkan secara berkala setiap bulan April dan Oktober.

Abstract

Da'wah is a communication practice. Da'wah is one of the communication activities because in da'wah there is a process of transmitting information (messages) from the communicator (da'i, interpreter) to the communicant (mad'u) through various media such as newspapers, radio, television, and the internet. Da'wah activities will be able to run effectively and efficiently when using strategic and appropriate ways of conveying the teachings of Allah SWT. This study aims to find out the da'wah materials found on the website dakwatuna.com. This study uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The focus of this research is the texts contained on the website dakwatuna.com which were published from April to July 2016. The results of the research that the website of dakwatuna.com is part of the propaganda media that presents valuable information, knowledge and articles for people and civilization. The response of internet users is very enthusiastic and extraordinary about the material presented by the website dakwatuna.com. The material presentation on the dakwatuna.com website includes aspects of da'wah material namely aqeedah, sharia and morality. Aqeedah material found in the material do not sacrifice your religion, the prohibition on dreaming of hoping for death, do we remember the traffic jam in the Mahsyar field. In sharia material found in the material of marriage, what is the theme of our Ramadhan, four practices of heaven in one day, zakat is empowering and loving because of Allah. Whereas in the material of morality that is practicing sincerity, three saviors and three destroyers, the dream house and when the mother fell asleep.

Abstract

Pilgrimage (haji) is the fifth foundation of Islam, after saying two creed kalimah, confessing there is no God but Allah, that Muhammad is messenger (rasul) of Allah, praying (shalat), and pay for religious obligatory (zakat). There are many secret phylosophies (hikmah) of pilgrimate. The writer explains the secret phylosophy of the sacred pilgrimage.

Abstract

The existence of zakat institutions is one form of implementation of Islamic teachings. Specifically, the management of zakat becomes the main pillar in the Islamic pillars related to the obligation to pay zakat. West Sumatra LAZISMU is an Islamic philanthropic institution dedicated to empowering people and humanity through the utilization of zakat, infaq, shadaqah, waqf and other philanthropic funds from individuals, institutions, companies and other agencies. LAZISMU is a response to the fact that the Indonesian people are still largely in a state of poverty, social structures are increasingly fragile, social disparities are increasingly large and geographically located in disaster prone areas. In the meantime, West Sumatra, whose population is predominantly Muslim and still holds strong religious principles, has the potential for zakat, infaq, shadaqah, waqf and others which are quite high. However, this great potential has not been managed and utilized optimally so that it has not yet had a significant impact on the resolution of poverty and solving existing problems. The research method used is field research (field research) researchers using the Phenomenological approach, data collected through observation, documents and interviews, then will be analyzed sequentially and interactionally consisting of three stages, namely: 1) Data reduction, 2) Data presentation, 3) Conclusions withdrawal or verification. The results revealed that the pattern of zakat utilization by LAZISMU West Sumatra is focused on productive utilization which consists of: 1. Microeconomic Empowerment 2. Empowerment of agriculture and animal husbandry (Agriculture and Livestock Empowerment) 3. Educational Development (Education Development) 4 Social Service and Da'wah (Social and Da'wah Services). It can be concluded that LAZISMU West Sumatra has tried well and planned in an effort to utilize zakat so that it is able to overcome the problems experienced by mustahik.

Abstract

Zakat collected by LAZISMU Pekanbaru is distributed through the Pemberdayaan Kemandirian Umat (PKU) program in the form of venture capital assistance, productive facilities, coaching, mentoring, and entrepreneurship training. This research was conducted to find out how the strategy of mustahiq welfare through the PKU program by LAZISMU Pekanbaru. The type of research was descriptive qualitative. The methods of data collection were observation, interviews, and documentation. This research involved 6 participants. The results of this research reveal that there are four forms of strategy undertaken to improve mustahiq welfare including; First, through venture capital in the form of giving a sum of cash to develop productive activities. Second, the provision of productive facilities such as tools to support the business developed by the mustahiq. Third, giving guidance on strengthening mustahiq worship and business through recitation and meetings and mentoring by visiting the mustahiq business directly by the PKU program staff. Fourth, the strategy is through entrepreneurship training.

Abstract

Da'wah and empowerment should be synergized to achieve the welfare of the Islamic community on a worldly and “ukhrawi” basis. Da'wah is not only used as a humorous lecture or just a gathering place for “jama’ah” to listen the religious advice that only examines the matter of “ukhrawi” alone, but also discusses worldly issues. Likewise with empowerment which should not only discuss worldly aspects, but also discuss the “ukhrawi” aspects of Islamic society. This article was prepared using qualitative methods and through a literature study approach. Literature study is carried out by collecting, reading and analyzing various literature or references such as books, scientific journals and various other scientific works related to da'wah and empowerment. In this article, the author will elaborate on anything related to da'wah and empowerment such as the definition and nature of each. After that, the author will explain in detail about the application of da'wah through empowerment activities. This study is expected to be able to contribute to the da'wah scientists and practitioners, empowerment agencies, religious institutions and other social institutions to empower Islamic communities to the full and sustainable.

Abstract

Many difficulties in moving organizations that only work on the basis of sincerity. The purpose of this study is to reveal the efforts of Himpunan Da’i dan Muballigh in moving the da'wah in Bukit Tinggi City, which consists of providing motivation, guidance, coordination, and communication from the leader to the members. This study uses a qualitative method. First, the motivation is generally abstract, even though there is material giving which is of little value and if there is something of economic value not all members get it. Second, the guidance given by the Da'wah leaders to members is guidance that fosters sincerity and togetherness not because of demanding obligations. Third, the relationship between the Da'wah leaders and members has not been well established, because there are members who have doubts when asked as members / management, and some who do not know about the development of the organization. Fourth, leadership communication with members is more mobile.

Abstract

The historical journey of the Prophet Muhammad migrated from Mecca to Medina as a momentum to develop human civilization, which was first built was a mosque, a mosque used as a place of worship to Allah SWT as a center of community activities such as deliberation and relationship. The step taken to prosper the mosque is to build worshipers ranging from children to the elderly. The location of this research is in Bukit Gado-Gado Sub-District, Padang South District, Padang City conducted by the Indonesian Dai Association (IKADI) of Padang City with research sites in Jabal Din Mosque and At-Taqwa Mushala, Al-Amiin and Al-Ikhlas. While the methodology used is field research that is field research using interview data, observation and documentation method then explained clearly and concluded.  Guidance is carried out in the mosque and each mushala is in terms of spiritual and intellectual aspects, coaching in the spiritual aspect of reviving the recitation in the mosque such as lecture and sermon review periodically and continuously as well as praying five times a time to worship in the mosque and mushala, on the intellectual aspects in the mushala by participating in teaching the alquran education park and guiding and evaluating studen routinely in accordance with the teaching curriculum of the al-quran education park, at the adolescent level carrying out wirid remaja by providing material relevant to the development of adolescents, in the field of majlis taklim in the mosque encouraging association to hold majlis taklim which synergizes with mosque and mosque leaders and community leaders

Abstract

The development of social media today seems like mushrooms that blossom in the rainy season. Where the presence of social media has removed the veil that is in the  midst of social life. Likewise in the world of da’wah, social media gives a new color in its development, so that in practice the dak’wah has shifted, currently preaching is not only from the pulpit pulpit but by sitting sweetly in front of a television screen or computer  mad’u has been able to enjoy propaganda. In its development, social media currently generally supports and becomes an unparalled propanganda media. This can be seen from the number of da’wah interpreters who use social media for da’wah, such as; youtube, instagram, facebook and the like.  The advancement and up-to-date social media not only gives positive inpact and response to the world of da’wah, like two sides of a coin, there is a positive side that is felt by the da’wah world. The other side also presents a new challenge for the world of dak’wah. One of the cases that can be explainde, often mad’u can not confirm or ask directly related to mataerial that is not understood, so mad’u must swallow raw material preaching delivered by the preacher. The next problem is that a da’wah interpreter cannot see the extent to which the da’wah material delivered changes to mad’u and the extent to which da’wah delivered through social media brings change to mad’u this is among the da’wah challenges that must be faced by interpreters in the current development of social media.   In this case the researcher tried to explain the challenges of da’wah in the flow of the development of social media by using the qualitative descriptive method.

Abstract

The background of this research originated from the writer's interest in the existence of Campus Da'wah Institutions in Public Higher Education, one of which is located in STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. According to the observations of the author LDK is quite developed among LDK in other public universities and Islamic universities. The problem examined by the researcher in this thesis is how the Campus Institution Da'wah Approach (LDK) Afdahalul Fikri (AF) STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. The limitation of the problem is how is the general description of LDK STKIP PGRI West Sumatra, how is the da'wah approach that LDK AF STKIP PGRI West Sumatra is doing to its da'wah partners and what method of propaganda is used by LDK STKIP PGRI West Sumatra.To find out the approach of Da'wah LDK AF STKIP PGRI West Sumatra, the writer uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The qualitative method with a descriptive approach is a research method by looking at and describing facts that occur in the real field which are then used as data for writing. The facts - the writer gets by means of observation, interviews and documentation, after all the data the author gets the new author if the writing material that fits the limitations of the author's research.Based on the data found in the implementation of the research, the findings of this study are this LDK which was established on April 22, 1998 academics of STKIP PGRI West Sumatra, youth and communities outside the campus STKIP PGRI West Sumatra in order to recognize and empower their potential for personal benefit, the campus community and the wider community in general to realize the community of faith and that has the blessing of Allah SWT. This LDK has 6 departments that have their respective work programs.To realize the goals and work programs, this LDK approach - approach to preaching partners individually, this individual approach is an approach that is more focused on the psychological understanding of the missionary partner itself, so that the LDK board knows what messages and methods should be used in preaching against its cadres. In addition, this approach also further strengthens the ukhuwah between LDK administrators and propaganda cadres. The LDK method used in da'wah is by two methods, namely 1) the method of discussion by conducting trainings, seminars and general studies and annisa forums; 2) writing method by forming cadre bulletin, Mading, LDK FSI AF (Afdhalul Fikri Islamic Study Forum) and reading space.

Abstract

Badan Wakaf Uang Muhammadiyah (BWUM) West Sumatra is a cash waqf management body by collecting, developing and utilizing the proceeds / surplus of waqf. This study aims to reveal how the process of organizing the BWUM West Sumatra. This type of research is field research, using qualitative methods through a descriptive approach, namely a problem-solving procedure that is investigated by describing or describing the object of research based on the facts that appear as they are. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data from BWUM West Sumatra. The results of this study indicate that the work grouping has been carried out by BWUM West Sumatra, the management assigns jobs based on their abilities and expertise. This work grouping determines the plan of activities to be carried out by the executive through deliberation. Regarding the delegation of authority and responsibility given to the executive, it is determined by the division of labor according to their respective fields. But in its implementation there are still managers who have concurrent positions in carrying out tasks, there are managers who overlap the tasks they are assigned, then there are administrators who are inactive during the management period even though there is a change in management structure. Meanwhile, the working relationship carried out by the BWUM West Sumatra management is not concerned with the success of their own duties, because progress in one area will not give meaning without being accompanied by others in the management of BWUM West Sumatra.
