Abstract

Land and forest fires in Malifut sub-district, North Halmahera that occurred in 2015 were the largest fires in the last 20 years, these fires have consumed most of the land and forest areas. The extent of land and forest areas is a challenge in predicting and anticipating fires. For this reason, the use of hotspot information becomes an important part of monitoring new possibilities related to fire in the following years. This study aims to identify land and forest fires by testing the distribution of hotspots resulting from the interpretation of MODIS imagery on fire hazard maps and maps of land and forest cover in Malifut sub-district. The method used is descriptive with scoring and overlays as techniques of data analysis. Data processing uses ArcGIS software version 10.6 by performing mathematical operations and shapefile hotspot data inputting. The results of this study show that there are a total of 54 hotspots in Malifut sub-district, of which 48 hotspots (88.89%) are spread in high-hazard areas, in the medium class as many as 6 hotspots (11.11%) and low class no hotspots (0%). For the results of the identification of the distribution of hotspots on the land cover map, it is found that the highest distribution of hotspots is on dry land agriculture with 34 hotspots (62.96%), shrub land with 11 hotspots (20.37%), production forests with 7 hotspots (12.96%), and forests secondary dry land and settlement each have 1 hotspot (1.85%).

Abstract

Every type of coffee have a different shape, texture, calor based on roasting system used and the taste is quite significant. It makes coffee beans have different price. However, not all of coffee shop owners and coffee farmer can identify the type of coffee beans by only looking these coffee beans. So, it can lead something wrong to identify the type of coffee beans If the coffee shop owners don't have enough knowlegde about  coffee beans. Identifying the type of coffee with the naked eye is difficult to distinguish so that special expertise is needed, one of the methods can be used to identify the type of coffee is digital image processing such as CBIR (content based image retrieval) which aims to identify the characteristic or feature of the object, this method used to do feature identification process, one of them is the texture feature that are owned by severay types of coffee. Extraction of texture feature is used by using GLCM ( gray level co-occurrence matrix), the dataset used is an image of coffee beans taken from 3 types, namely, robusta coffee beans, Arabica coffee beans and liberica coffee beans. The amount dataset used is 165 images. The CBIR system is able to identify the types of coffee beans by precision value 55.20%.

Abstract

At Anutapura Palu General Hospital (Hospital) Anutapura Palu to perform stadium detection still using Ms.Excel application with the result of detection is still manually input, to overcome the problem the author aims to make data mining applications to detect the stage of HIV / AIDS by applying Naive Bayes algorithm with output / output result of stadium 1, stadium 2, stadium 3 and stadium 4. The research data was obtained at Anutapura Palu General Hospital (RSU) from 305 HIV / AIDS patients. Existing data were analyzed using Naive Bayes algorithm and using 11 features. Naive Bayes aims to classify data in a particular class, then the pattern can be used to determine the level of stadium suffered by HIV / AIDS patients.

Abstract

The application made in this study is used in the scope of the University of Papua Informatics Engineering Department, based on information and procedures for making the final thesis task of the Informatics Engineering Department of the University of Papua, this application was made using the Waterfall system development model and developed with PHP programming language with a CodeIgniter framework and MySQL Database. This Online Thesis application consists of 3 users. The first user in this application is the Chair of the Study Program who acts as the Administrator, the second is Thesis Supervisor, and The third is Students of the Informatics Engineering Department at the University of Papua. Available menu options are Upload Proposal, List of Proposals, Thesis Title List, Message, New Message, Inbox, Control Card Menu, Student List, Lecturer List, and Profile. Information System that can facilitate the search for proposals, thesis titles and guidance processes carried out by the Informatics Engineering Department of the University of Papua.

Abstract

UDP is a data transmission protocol on the Internet that allows data to be sent in realtime and become a development base of various services such as IPTV, VOIP, VOD, and video conferencing. The multicast network was a solution to provide better service to many public needs with the concept of simplicity and efficiency. Dense traffic situation triggering a packet loss and delay that not tolerated by some services, especially multimedia streaming service, while UDP does not guarantee the quality of service so that the necessary traffic management method that serves as a traffic controller to the congestion in the network. This study analyzes the performance of technology based on Active Queue Management (AQM) congestion control in a multicast backbone network based on Protocol Independent Multicast – Dense Multicast using Droptail, Deficit Round Robin (DRR), and Random Early Detection (RED) algorithm, which is simulated using NS2. The simulation results show that the congestion control algorithm, DRR provides the best performance with a balanced value of mean delay, mean throughput, and the mean loss. RED is a congestion control algorithm which has the best queue management mechanism but not able to suppress the mean loss in each scenario tested because RED has a small amount of buffer size, Droptail not an appropriate algorithm for multicast networks implemented in, the absence of an interrupt mechanism trigger data services will have a tendency towards a particular data packet.

Abstract

The development of an Open Source Software (OSS) can influence the development of other Open Source Systems. The relationship between OSS is often called an ecosystem, there are several aspects to the OSS ecosystem that can affect ecosystem evolution in the software. This study reports a systematic literature review on the influence of several aspects of the OSS ecosystem on the evolution of OSS. The Sistematic Literature Review method based on Kitchenham was used to analyze 1099 articles published in leading journals and conferences. The Results showed that Social aspects have a significant impact on ecosystem evolution, where communication between communities in an OSS ecosystem influences aspects of contributions and dependencies that encourage an ecosystem to develop and evolve.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to assist teachers and headmaster to selection student who is truly receiving aid poor from the government to consider determined criteria. The technique of data collection is observation, interview and literature. Using the waterfall method for software development methods. This application uses Delphi 2010 and MySQL for CASE Tools and black-box method for testing the function. Application of students selection who are aid poor can display ranking the student who receives aid poor based on the output of Weighted Product methods.

Abstract

Submission of Islamic teaching materials in several schools and TPA / TPQ is made directly by way of delivery of content by teachers, and students pay attention, and then students can repeat. This is less effective in preparing children not to feel bored in learning. Therefore there is a need for multimedia applications that can provide lessons that can be repeated over and over again in any place. Multimedia applications that are packaged in the form of android-based educational games contain about the pillars of Islamic Pillars. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which is a process used to develop and validate educational products including potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, product revisions, trial trials, product revisions, mass products. This research resulted in the prototype design of the application "SHOLEH CHILDREN ADVENTURE EDUCATION GAME." This will be further developed into a game application that can be used by students for learning and repetition of material related to Islamic pillars outside school hours.

Abstract

Structural design quality is an important driver of the overall quality of software applications. It is widely recognized in the literature that a low design quality of software negatively influences a number of external quality variables in the medium term, such as bug-proneness, usability, and reliability, which can be directly perceived by users. The use of design models when designing software, in particular by using the UML, has held the promise of quality improvements, automated code generation, improved problem solving and design capabilities, and in general improved productivity in software development. The conceptual modeling of classical systems is patially solved using a language such as UML. Visualizing relations of software entities often helped developers or programmer understand what he wants develop. Interactive visualizations can naturally support explorations of structures and convey evolution tendencies. Visual tool allows exploring software designs that evolve over time.

Abstract

This research was conducted to process medical record data in RSUD Undata of central Sulawesi province, for some BPJS Kesehatan insurance member. Medical record contain information about identity and medical history by patient  in Hospital or community health center (Puskesmas). Medical records have disease information by patients encoded according to WHO standart. The code is called ICD (International Classification of Disease) and this research use C4.5 Algorithm as Classification method to process patient medical record which then uses address attributes, gender, age and disease diagnosis (ICD-10). Of the five attributes are groupings then processed into group of age, regional and icd. The result of this studi can find patterns of disease tendency that most suffered by people in a region.
