Abstract

Supplier selection is multicriteria problem, since for selecting the supplier who will become partner, decision maker must consider many criteria to measure supplier performance. One of the models that is used to measure supplier performance is Supplier Performance Rating used in Kingston-Warren Corporation. The key aspects related to that model are Quality, Cost and Delivery. One of tools that used by decision maker to select supplier is making a computer system that can interact with decision maker. The system is called Decision Support System (DSS) for supplier selection. The process of supplier selection uses Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) model. AHP model conduct supplier selection by making paired matrix comparison from defined criterion. Result of AHP model calculation is in the form of priority value, so that the highest priority value produced by the model is used by decision maker to choose the best candidate supplier.

Abstract

Computer technology is currently advancing rapidly. Almost every sector of work relies on computer technology for data processing, including in the field of education, particularly in counseling services. Based on monitoring and direct interactions with teaching staff at SMK Negeri 3 Palu, it is revealed that there is currently no system available that can manage student violation incident data optimally. Instead, the process still relies on manual recording, where teachers record student violations and then submit them to the Counseling Unit (BK). Manual information management is vulnerable to the risk of data loss and information overlap. To address this situation, this research intends to develop a Web-Based Student Violation Counseling Information System with a Point System at SMK Negeri 3 Palu, focusing on improving efficiency and transparency in the point allocation process. In this study, the approach applied is the Waterfall model. With the adoption of this system, the identification of the most frequently occurring student violations becomes more detailed.

Abstract

The problems of correspondence efficiency and effectiveness as well as disposition in LPPM Universitas Tadulako related to manual management can be overcome by utilizing the current advanced technology. One of the utilization of advanced information technology is by using correspondence application system and online disposition. Correspondence management system is performed systematically and paperless which is also a solution during Covid-19 pandemics where all office administration is done from home. This research was done to build online correspondence and disposition management system in LPPM instances of LPPM Universitas Tadulako. The information system of Office Correspondence and Online Disposition of the Research and Community Dedication Institution (LPPM) of Universitas Tadulako will form paperless work system in the institution, so that it is able to improve the effectiveness of administration management performance in LPPM in the effort to improve the quality of research and community dedication in Universitas Tadulako.

Abstract

The stunting or malnutrition in toddlers are the main problems facing society today[1]. Also, the fact that these young children experience lack of adequate nourishment in Indonesia is quite indisputable. Handling nutritional problems is closely related to the strategy of a nation to create healthy, intelligent and productive human resources. Efforts to improve quality human resources begin with how to manage children's growth as part of a family with good nutrition and care For this reason, this study takes part in supporting the alleviation of cases of malnutrition by using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method which is used to find the optimal alternative from a number of alternative criteria. The basic concept of SAW is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative across all attributes[2]. The SAW method requires a decision matrix normalization process (X) to a scale that can be compared with all alternative ratings[3]. The SAW method recognizes 2 attributes, namely the benefit criteria and the cost criteria. The method used was Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) which consists of 2 criteria, namely Height (TB) and Weight (BW) according to age for toddlers. The calculation accuracy of this application is 90% of the tested data

Abstract

Psychometric tests are a crucial step in obtaining a Driver's License (SIM) that requires effective cooperation between the Traffic Unit (SATLANTAS), psychological institutions, and applicants. However, the psychometric test service often faces challenges due to lack of accuracy and difficulties in manual verification of test results by psychological facilities. To address this challenge, this research develops a web application to facilitate registration, conduct of psychological tests, and access to test results for applicants. This application also assists administrators in managing psychological test information and providing confirmation to applicants. The development process uses the waterfall SDLC method. In its development, testing uses 2 methods: blackbox and the Delone & Mclean method with a qualitative approach involving 47 respondents. Through this research, a SIM psychometric test service system is produced, consisting of account registration, admin and user login, and psychometric test execution pages. The resulting system, named SINAR-SIMPOLRI, can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of psychometric test services in Palu City, providing more efficient support for test participants and psychological facilities in conducting easier checks.

Abstract

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the longest conflict that still has not found a bright spot. In December 2023 the UN again gave the latest resolution with the title “Armistice” this resolution received pros and cons from UN member states. The number of pro countries is 150 countries, contra as many as 10 countries and 23 countries abstain. This study aims to investigate whether the 10 countries that voted against the UN resolution represent the interests of their people or only represent the interests of their country. This research approach uses sentiment analysis on platform X with the Support Vector Machine method. Data was taken from March 2024 to the latest data, 137,447 data were obtained with 5 countries using non-English languages and 4 countries using English. Each data from these countries was successfully classified into positive and negative classes. The survey was conducted on 9 countries with an average positive sentiment of 34.82% and an average negative sentiment of 77.41%. The results of this research show that the decisions made by the 10 countries that rejected the resolution represent the voice of their people.

Abstract

Indonesia, an archipelagic country situated on the Equator and surrounded by the Ring of Fire, is highly susceptible to natural disasters such as tectonic earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Palu, one of Indonesia's seismically active regions, is traversed by the Palu-Koro Fault, which has the potential to trigger strong earthquakes and tsunamis, as evidenced by the 7.4-magnitude earthquake in September 2018. To mitigate disaster risks, it is crucial to understand community vulnerability and utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. This study designs a GIS-based system using the modified Dijkstra's Algorithm to determine the shortest tsunami evacuation routes in Palu. Testing results indicate that the system is effective, with a user satisfaction rate of 89.33% and satisfactory route prediction accuracy compared to Google Maps. The system can be relied upon to help communities find the nearest evacuation routes, thereby enhancing safety and preparedness in the face of potential disasters.

Abstract

This study investigates the design and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system specifically developed to address the operational challenges faced by medium-sized enterprises in the digital printing sector, with Rio Digital Printing as a case study. The research identifies key issues such as communication gaps and the lack of real-time order tracking, which negatively impact customer satisfaction. Employing a prototyping methodology, the system was iteratively refined with active user participation, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements. Key features include real-time order tracking, automated notifications, and a comprehensive interactive dashboard to support data-driven decision-making. The results demonstrate that the CRM system significantly enhances operational transparency, improves customer engagement, and fosters loyalty. This study contributes to the academic discourse by addressing the underexplored application of CRM systems in small and medium-sized enterprises, presenting a scalable framework for adaptation in similar industries. The findings also provide practical implications, advocating for digital transformation as a strategy to improve competitiveness in dynamic market environments.
