Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of social studies through the application of Discovery Learning Historical Document Review of Events Towards the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence in VIII.1 students of SMPN 3 Koto Baru. Classroom action research was carried out for two cycles, with each meeting held twice. Each meeting is carried out with the Discovery Learning Application. As a data collection tool is the result of formative tests given at the end of cycle I and end of cycle II. The results obtained from the study of social studies at the initial observation only 50% of students who reach KKM, in cycle 1 increased by 69% and increased again by 87% in cycle 2. Social studies learning outcomes have improved from the first cycle to the second cycle, this shows that the Discovery Learning model of the Historical Document Review of the Events Towards the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence can be used as an alternative learning to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the make a match cooperative learning model on the theme of Energy and Change in class III-A UPT. at SD Negeri 01 Limo Kaum. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class III-A UPT. in SD Negeri 01 Limo Kaum, amounting to 20 students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data obtained are in the form of observations as primary data, and learning outcomes tests as supporting data. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the application of the cooperative learning model type make a match in thematic learning in class III-A UPT. at SD Negeri 01 Limo Kaum. From the data, the average student learning evaluation results increased, namely from the pre-cycle of 67.5 in the very poor category, increasing to 76.5 in the sufficient category in the first cycle, and increasing again to 85 with the very good category in the second cycle. This cycle stage states that student learning outcomes can increase due to applying the cooperative learning model make a match type.

Abstract

The background of the problem of this research is that the learning process is felt to still need to use media. The condition of learning causes students to be more enthusiastic about learning and can quickly understand the material delivered by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to describe the Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes in Class V of Sialang 05 Elementary School in Kapur IX District, Lima Puluh Kota District through media images. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of the study were the fifth grade students of Sialang 05 Elementary School in Kapur IX District as many as 29 students consisting of 13 women and 16 men. The instruments in this study are: observation, testing and documenting. Data analysis techniques in the main activities of this model analysis include among others (1) data analysis of observation sheets of teacher and student activities, and (2) analysis of student learning outcomes. Observation is used to determine the teacher's ability to manage the learning and activities of students in the learning process by using media images. The results showed that in the first cycle the results obtained were 12 students 42% above the KKM and in the second cycle 26 students were 90% above the KKM. So, based on the results of the study show that there is an increase from cycle I to cycle II. Suggestions to teachers, especially grade V teachers to use picture media in accordance with the material being taught so as to improve the completeness of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

One very basic difference between education in a simple society and modern society is a shift from the need for individuals to learn something that is agreed upon by everyone for their survival, both present and future. The greater the knowledge and complex skills to be learned, the longer it will take for the continuity of social life. The task of education in society is to arouse intellectual curiosity, that is, attention to knowledge that is separate from its practical application. This is not easy, because it requires attitude, discipline and intellect that is not pragmatic, instant and fast-paced. With the existence of educational comparisons in this society, a more balanced, critical comparison of our education system is processed. It is clear, that in education there is no bias in moving complex practices into a culture that is more complex and large and expecting results. On the other hand, the success of a simple society in taking care of certain aspects in encouraging their education will encourage us to overcome our educational problems such as the problem of integrating children into the community into their environment and arousing student interest, motivation and attention during the education period. It is necessary to look for solutions with a greater perspective and optimism. Keywords: Education, Society, Modern, Simple.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) The steps of implementing individual guidance by the principal to teachers to improve teacher work productivity at SDN 05 Lembah Melintang, (2) The magnitude of increasing teacher work productivity after the implementation of individual guidance was developed by headmaster. This research is a school action research that is analyzed with a qualitative approach. The study was conducted at SDN 05 Lembah Melintang in the first semester of the 2018/2019 school year. The results obtained are: (1) The implementation of individual guidance can be developed by basing the steps of: (1) Guidance of developing learning models through comparative studies and follow-up planning, followed by SWOT analysis guidance; (2) Guidance on the administration of education administration, followed by the provision of direct feed beack on the work of teachers; (3) Advanced guidance sets reliable targets, developed with joint evaluation of other teacher program targets that are also experiencing the same problem; (4) Guidance on how to carry out collaboration with other teachers in a deeper way, to the ability to show the materials needed by other teachers; (5) Guidance for effective and efficient work strategies, which are developed by training to determine optimal kauntitas numbers and how to measure them through scoring techniques; (6) Developing motivational guidance; (7) Building independence so that teachers avoid plagiarism-based activities, and guidance for effective planning; (8) Guidance for making effective work planning coupled with innovative aspects; (9) Encouraging teachers to implement teacher competency improvement programs through seminars and workshops followed by the implementation of new experiences from teacher activities; (2) The implementation of individual guidance is able to increase the work productivity of teachers in schools because of the completion of teacher problems in the development and implementation of learning programs in schools.

Abstract

Rheumatic disease is a disease affecting the joints and surrounding structures, consisting of more than 100 types. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a progressive autoimmune disease with chronic inflammation that attacks the musculoskeletal system but can involve the organs and systems of the body as a whole, characterized by swelling, joint pain and destruction of synovial tissue accompanied by movement disorders followed by premature death. This type of research is analytical, with a cross sectional design, where in this study, the dependent and independent variables will be observed at the same time, this method is expected to be known "Factors Associated with Rheumatic Incidence in Rheumatism Patients in Village VI Ethnic Work Area. Puskesmas Tanah Garam Kota Solok ". Based on the results of research conducted on 40 respondents, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between genetics and the incidence of rheumatism, there is a relationship between age and the incidence of rheumatism, there is a relationship between sex and the incidence of rheumatism, there is a relationship between obesity and the incidence of rheumatism and a relationship between lifestyle and incidence rheumatism in Kelurahan VI Tribe, Tanah Garam Public Health Center, Solok City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of the role of parents in improving discipline and responsibility for children who are still in elementary school (SD) in Korong rimbo karambia, ulakan tapakis sub-district, padang pariaman district, as well as to find out the inhibiting factors for planting discipline and responsibility. answer to elementary school students in Korong rimbo karambia, ulakan tapakih sub-district, padang pariaman district. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis research type. The research focus is a form of child discipline. The activity stage is the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the report result stage, the data sources used are primary and secondary data. The instrument used in this study was an interview guide sheet, data collection procedures, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data, namely the triangulation of techniques and triangulation of sources, while the data analysis used was to explain, describe, and describe according to the problem. The results showed that (1) parents still supervise their children both in terms of time and behavior, (2) the inhibiting factor in instilling discipline and responsibility for elementary school students, namely the lack of consistency of parents in providing examples due to the busyness of parents at work.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: a) hasil belajar pembelajaran Tematik Sub Tema Keragaman Suku Bangsa dan Agama di Negeriku siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray pada pembelajaran Tematik Sub Tema Keragaman Suku Bangsa dan Agama di Negeriku b) Penerapan model Two Stay Two Stray pada pembelajaran Tematik Sub Tema Keragaman Suku Bangsa dan Agama di Negeriku, c) Peningkatan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran Tematik Sub Tema Keragaman Suku Bangsa dan Agama di Negeriku setelah menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray kelas IV UPT. SD Negeri 16 Baringin. Subjek dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa UPT. SD Negeri 16 Baringin kelas IV yang berjumlah 35 peserta didik terdiri dari 19 laki-laki dan 16 perempuan, sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar pembelajaran Tematik Sub Tema Keragaman Suku Bangsa dan Agama di Negeriku dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Pada tes awal (Pre-Test) sebelum menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray nilai rata- rata peserta didik sebesar 68,29 yaitu 19 orang (54,29%) yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan 16 orang (45,71%) yang belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar, pada siklus I nilai rata- rata kelas yang di dapat sebesar 74,89 jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar sebanyak 26 orang (74,29%) dan siswa yang belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar sebanyak 9 orang (25,71%). Sedangkan tes hasil belajar siklus II nilai rata- rata kelas yang didapat peserta didik sebesar 84,57, peserta didik yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar sebanyak 31 orang (88,57%) dan jumlah peserta didik yang tidak tuntas belajar sebanyak 4 orang (11,43%). Maka menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pembelajaran Tematik Sub Tema Keragaman Suku Bangsa dan Agama di Negeriku.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berawal dari pengalaman penulis di lapangan ketika pelaksanaan pembelajaran terpaku pada metode ceramah dalam penyampaian materi sehingga siswa-siswa sering mengalami kebosanan dan daya tangkap terhadap materi kurang. Karena itu penulis mencoba menarik minat belajar siswa dengan penggunaan alat peraga berupa buah bonsai untuk membantu penyampaian materi agar siswa lebih bersemangat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah Apakah penggunaan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika tentang penjumlahan di Kelas I SDN 14 Padang Aro Kecamatan Sangir? Tujuan Agar siswa lebih memahami pelajaran tentang penjumlahan operasi bilangan bulat dengan menggunakan alat peraga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelas I SDN 14 Padang Aro, Kec. Sangir Kab. Solok Selatan dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 25 orang, dengan 16 orang perempuan dan 9 orang laki-laki. Dengan menggunakann Teknik Pengumpulan Data berupa tes dan observasi. Sebagai Alat Pengumpulan Data yaitu Butir Soal Tes dan Lembar Observasi. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah 75% dari jumlah siswa yang sudah mencapai nilai KKM yaitu 55. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengolahan data bahwa dengan menggunakan alat peraga buah bonsai berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas I SDN 14 Padang Aro Kecamatan Sangir. Ini dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 17.20. sedangkan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 52 % dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II sebesar 100 % artinya penggunaan metode alat peraga berupa buah bonsai adalah baik dan berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran Matematika tentang penjumlahan di kelas I SDN 14 Padang Aro Kecamatan Sangir. Dengan hasil tersebut, maka kesimpulannya model pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat peraga buah bonsai dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas I SDN 14 Padang Aro dalam hal penjumlahan bilangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V di UPT. SD Negeri 04 Saruaso melalui metode pembelajaran quantum writing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Tahap-tahap yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V UPT. SD Negeri 04 Saruaso yang berjumlah 23 siswa, yakni 13 siswa perempuan dan 10 siswa laki-laki. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif dan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas V UPT. SD Negeri 04 Saruaso melalui metode quantum writing. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan pencapaian nilai rata-rata kelas saat menulis karangan narasi meningkat dari pra tindakan ke siklus I dan siklus II. Nilai rata-rata menulis karangan narasi pada pra tindakan sebesar 68,39 menjadi 74,74 pada siklus I dan mencapai 81,91 pada siklus II. Tingkat pencapaian ketuntasan siswa dalam menulis karangan narasi meningkat dari kondisi awal 39,13% menjadi 65,22% pada siklus I dan menjadi 86,96% pada siklus II. Upaya meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan narasi menggunakan metode quantum writing dilakukan dengan tahap-tahap pembelajaran seperti: penyampaian materi oleh guru, persiapan menulis, membuat draft/kerangka karangan, berbagi hasil tulisan dengan teman, memperbaiki kesalahan penulisan, menyunting hasil tulisan, menulis kembali karangan, serta guru bersama siswa melakukan evaluasi pada karangan narasi yang telah dihasilkan.
