Al Munir Journal of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting is open access and peer review of journals published by the Communication and Islamic Broadcasting Study Program of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, Imam Bonjol Padang State Islamic University (UIN). This journal covers actual issues in Islamic communication studies, including the development of contemporary da'wah by utilizing media, Islamic information systems, rhetoric, literature, and government policies regarding broadcasting and information regulation. The purpose of this journal is to promote sharing of knowledge and understanding of communication issues. Then receive contributions from experts, researchers, practitioners and policy makers throughout the world. This journal is published periodically twice a year, precisely in January - June and July - December.

Abstract

Al Quran is the book of instructions and guidance for human beings on this earth. Allah does not let the man without a revelation because people will not be able to know the nature of existence as a human being on this earth. Quran is a miracle of the Prophet Muhammad that is ma'nawiyah. Quran is guidance and a cure for humans. Quran is a miracle in pronunciation fluency, uslub (the way of deliver) and tarkib (words and sentences order). Arabic is a nation that showed high appreciation in the express poetry, oral or written. Rhythm, verse rhythms of Arabic poetry and has given to the psychological impact of the Arab nation. language of aesthetics and beauty of the Quran containing matchless language. Quran has given the real evidence of change in a generation that lived with ignorance and darkness which then turned into the best generation ever existed on this earth. Therefore, all of those are due to interactions with the Quran.

Abstract

This article is aimed at critizing the political reasoning of the Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-Jamâ’ah. The discussion will be focused firstly on the text (hadîth) criticism which has been proved as weak and “corrupted” by the Ash’arites by interpreting the Ahl as-Sunnah wrongly as the only sect that will be saved. Secondly, ijmâ’ (consensus of the great companions of the Prophet) as a basis of their political reasoning by regarding  historical experiences of moslems of the first generation as normative examples for the successors justified, directly or indirectly, “the logic of power” in their political theory. Finally, the plea of “moderation” which is indeed, an on-going proccess  and has been developed inconsistently, not only made moral passivity, but justified undoubtedly upon it political opportunism

Abstract

The history of Islamic preaching science is Islamic preaching process began from dimensions of meaning of Islamic preaching words from the classical era until now. Because the Islamic preaching word are difference with praying, fasting, pilgrimage and the like, who have limited understanding by the Prophet Muhammad saw. So this writing will load giving meaning of Islamic preaching  word in beginning of the history, giving meaning of Islamic preaching of clssic era, giving meaning of Islamic preaching  of modern era, and the history of Islamic preaching in all of Instituteof Islamic religiousstate  in Indonesia. The history of Islamic preaching science is Islamic preaching process began from dimensions of meaning of Islamic preaching words from the classical era until now. Abstract

If in case a proposition requires the enactment of the law on a case, but there is also another proposition which requires the enactment of another law on the same case, the second argument of the so-called ta'arudh. Clash between the two arguments of the law could include naqli proposition (proposition textually defined in the Qur'an or Hadith), and the argument of aqli (determined based on reasonable arguments). In addition it can also include the definitive proposition (proposition that power in applying the laws, convincing), and the argument of zhanni (proposition that power in applying the laws are not convincing). One form ta'arudh it happen between tradition Munday with qiyas. When that happens, where would serve as proof of the basis for the charity? Regarding the problem is exactly what will be discussed in this paper is very simple.

Abstract

Caring behavior of nurses in implementing therapeutic communication in hospital X, South Sulawesi aims a) to determine the process of caring behavior of nurses in therapeutic communication and interaction seen from pre nurse orientation effects on the client and the nurse caring behavior seen in Therapeutic communication interaction and orientation of the pre-nursing on the client in the Hospital X South Sulawesi. The results showed that a) the application of the caring behavior of nurses with a current client application on therapeutic communication in pre interaction section, the nurses must prepare before meeting with clients such as reading the report books of client, hen introductory phase or orientation. The orientation phase is an early stage start interacting with clients at the start with regards to the client's condition and asking non-verbal and verbal language greetings terminated. b) While the effects of nurse caring behavior performed by the client when performing therapeutic communication received a positive response from the client or the client's family, because as long as the client is treated with good care so that clients are able to realize self-acceptance because of unnoticed.

Abstract

Teori penengah lintas budaya, membuktikan bahwa konflik disebabkan oleh polarisasi yang terus terjadi, serta ketidakpercayaan dan permusuhan di antara kelompok yang berbeda dalam suatu masyarakat. Sasaran yang ingin dicapai oleh teori ini  adalah perlunya menambah pengetahuan pihakpihak yang berkonflik mengenai budaya pihak lain, komunikasi terbuka, menghilangkan etnosentrisme, menjauhi prasangka, mengurangi stereotip negatif yang mereka miliki mengenai pihak lain, serta meningkatkan keefektifan komunikasi antarbudaya. Teori ini dihasilkan dari temuan pada penelitian mikro induktif tentang pengalaman komunikasi antarbudaya di salah satu wilayah Indonesia dan dipadukan dengan berbagai temuan penelitian dengan tema yang sama diberbagai wilayah Indonesia, dalam membangun sinergi nilai budaya, dalam konteks multi etnis.

Abstract

Research using this model of agenda setting, generally assess the elections and political issues. Since McComb and Shaw (1972) examined the general election in 1968 with a focus on the effects of media agenda setting. They were interested to see whether the opinions of voters on issues that are considered very important it is formed by the news about these issues. McComb and Shaw in researching elections, said that the impact of mass media in the cause of cognitive change among individuals has been dubbed the agenda setting function of mass communication. Here lies the most important effects of mass communication, namely the ability of structuring the world's media for us.

Abstract

The mass media has two sides of currency, which is between idealistic and commercial. Basically both walked like two rails. If the idealistic built properly, it will offset the commercial side with the assumption, the viewers will come 'donate' ad for aspiration and inspiration channeled in every program they broadcast. Worth watching, educational, informative, entertaining too, is an inviting 'the cake' on the television. The presence of local television expected, at most, ten local public interest where the television can be channeled. Since there may be hope on the national private television that have been "busy" with programs about "Jakarta"
