Abstract

Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon (UMC) is one of the well-known private higher education institutions in the Cirebon area. Apart from that, there are several Faculties within Muhammadiyah Cirebon University, namely FKIP, FIKES, FIS IP, FE, FAI, FH, FT and Vocational Studies. The problem that arises is the faculty management system that is currently running at the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon is still manual where the lack of a manual system if too many data reports are printed will result in human errors made by the administration section, lack of student insight into the flow that occurs in the Faculty system, the attendance system is still manual using paper that is printed and then put in a folder folder, information on letter requests must come to campus, information about the guardian lecturer does not match the student identification number, information on KHS value data sometimes has errors in input so the system is running inefficiently. For this reason, the author has the idea to utilize management information systems to facilitate the detailed management process within the scope of the engineering faculty. The programming language used for making this system is PHP Native, JavaScript, CSS with the Bootstrap framework, and the MariaDB database. The author hopes that this research can facilitate the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon in managing the faculty.

Abstract

To support the learning process, one must know their suitable learning style. Many students are already familiar with the concept of learning styles but still struggle to determine their own compatible style. Additionally, the absence of teachers teaching about learning styles contributes to the ineffectiveness of the learning process. Therefore, a system is needed to identify a student's learning style that matches their habits. Based on the existing issues, a student learning style identification system has been created as an alternative to assist students in identifying their compatible learning style. It implements the forward chaining method to record student responses and generate user Certainty Factors (CF) from those responses. This is followed by the Certainty Factor method to produce the highest CF value, which will then determine the suitable learning style for the student. The results of the black- box method testing within the system, using items 07 to 12, prove that the system can determine a student's learning style and provide learning recommendations based on that style. However, the accuracy of calculations diminishes when the number of questions is increased, leading to less precise results.

Abstract

Construction activities in the Cirebon city and regency area involve various processes and procedures carried out by contractors and clients. The contractor acts as the main manager of the construction providing various needs ranging from services to construction equipment. Building contractors are able to provide various types of building services, including the construction of houses, bridges, buildings, and many others. Cirebon city and regency Often service users in the region have difficulty finding contractors for the implementation of construction projects. This is due to lack of networking or contact with qualified and experienced building contractors. To facilitate the process of finding contractor services that suit the needs in the Cirebon city and regency areas, a contractor service rental E-Marketplace information system was designed that aims to make it easier for service users to find contractors in the Cirebon city and regency areas, which can be adjusted to the needs of the development project to be carried out. In the system designed includes contractor service rental activities, confirmation of proposals carried out by the contractor, determining the type of construction to be done, determining the area to be done, chatting between consumers and contractors. The system is built based on a website that uses PHP programming language, with interface development using the Laravel framework and its database using MySQL and the method used in system development is the SDLC system. The information system built is expected to be a reference and source of solutions to these problems.

Abstract

This Decision Support System is designed to simplify the selection of wood types used as raw materials for furniture production at Sona Meubel. Sona Meubel is a business that manufactures various types of furniture, such as wardrobes, beds, dressing tables, and TV cabinets, primarily using wood. Previously, wood selection was based solely on visual assessments, which often led to errors in decision-making. The Weighted Product (WP) method is used to evaluate several alternatives based on specific criteria, while the TOPSIS method selects alternatives that are closest to the positive ideal solution. This system considers criteria such as texture, physical properties, strength, price, availability, and durability. Built as a web-based system using PHP and the Laravel framework with a MySQL database, it provides wood selection recommendations based on the criteria entered.   Keywords: Decision Support System, Furniture, Wood, WP, TOPSIS

Abstract

Diseases in watermelon plants can cause significant losses for farmers. A lack of information about these diseases risks worsening the condition of the plants. To address this issue, the development of an expert system for diagnosing watermelon diseases offers an effective solution. This system uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to assign weights to symptoms based on pairwise comparisons and Certainty Factor to determine the level of confidence in the diagnosis. As a web-based system, it ensures easy access and allows farmers to diagnose diseases quickly and accurately. With this system, farmers can more efficiently manage diseases in watermelon plants, reducing the negative impact on crop yields and helping to maintain the sustainability of agricultural operations. Abstract

The present information system has become a critical component or part of every human activity. This is not only for laypeople but also for companies and business applications, as well as for the hiring activities of each company. This suggests how information systems play an important part in the development of a company. The research conducted is one that concentrates on inventory data processing and computerized information presentation, which currently is inventory data processing which is currently streaming manually. A system that will be designed can/can solve problems that began from inventory data processing goods which are still undertaken by hand and processes that take a long time and lack efficiency in their operations. For that, it is particularly necessary to optimize the way information systems work through an information system design that is applied to web programming or JAVA and MySQL databases to solve problems or solutions of existing problems and be able to address corporate needs. The achievements of the stock management application include adding goods, inputting goods according to the goods that have been added according to the production date, and issuing goods release data according to the production date, WhatsApp rest API has been integrated as a notification to the supplier. Abstract

The Hajj pilgrimage is a form of worship that is mandatory for Muslims to carry out if they fulfill the requirements. This Hajj pilgrimage is regularly held every year and the number is increasing. KBIH activities are an effort to provide necessities for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims who will carry out and carry out the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage, it will be difficult if they do not receive guidance and assistance during the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage. This research is a Web-based Hajj Service Information System developed by the Wadi Fatimah Hajj Guidance Group (KBIH) to increase the efficiency of managing pilgrim data and conveying information. The development methodology uses the Waterfall model with analysis, design, implementation and testing stages. The results show an increase in service efficiency and effectiveness, facilitating access to information for the congregation and smooth administrative management for KBIH. With this system, it is hoped that it can improve the overall quality of service, improve information transparency, support better decision making, and maintain the security of congregation data. Abstract

 Selecting the best teachers is crucial for maintaining the quality of education in every educational institution. High-quality teachers not only master the teaching material but also possess strong interpersonal skills and high dedication. SMK Farmasi YPIB Cirebon, located in Cirebon Regency, faces challenges in manually assessing teacher performance, which is time-consuming and prone to data loss. To address this issue, a Decision Support System (DSS) was developed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. AHP helps prioritize structured criteria, while SAW simplifies the evaluation calculations by assigning weights to each criterion. The four criteria used in this system are Attendance, Discipline, Responsibility, and Education Level. The implementation of this DSS is expected to improve efficiency and accuracy in the selection process of the best teachers at SMK Farmasi YPIB Cirebon. Abstract

This research develops a web-based Irrigation Network Operation and Maintenance Information System to make it easier for officers to record records in the Walahar Irrigation Area (D.I), Ciwaringin-Suba Service Unit which still uses conventional methods. The main problem faced is the difficulty of obtaining data on operation and maintenance activities and the length of time for collecting data on the condition of the irrigation network. The developed web-based system helps officers manage daily records and document equipment damage in the field, increasing efficiency and accuracy. In conclusion, switching from conventional to computerized systems provides many advantages, and this system can be further developed to be applied in other irrigation areas. The results of this research can create a website-based information system for the operation and maintenance of irrigation networks that makes it easier for PPA officers, POB, Mantri and Irrigation Staff to record and report without having to wait for forms from the central government. Abstract

Economic growth in Indonesia, which has been quite good in the last 10 years, which has increased by an average of around 5% from 2017, has encouraged the economic and industrial sectors to grow quite well. The industry that is growing quite well in Indonesia is in the transportation sector, namely the motorcycle industry. The economic growth of the transportation sector started with the trend of young people who have a hobby in automotive, motorcycles. The trend of modifying vehicles is that there are various types of modifications, starting from the initial condition of the vehicle to changing the desired conditions and modifications to restore the originality of a vehicle or can be called restoration. The trend of modifying classic motorbikes is no less popular among young people, this trend is a trend that is not seasonal. Classic motorbikes themselves are vehicles that were produced in the 90s with various types of brands and various origins of production countries. The challenges of owning a classic motorbike are limited spare parts, a way of driving that is considered impractical and some of the difficulties that actually become an attraction for classic motorbike hobbyists. With the rapid economy in the motorcycle industry sector, it is an opportunity for people to open a business in this sector. The existing marketplaces are general in nature, only providing new motorcycle spare parts and these classic motorcycle spare parts are rarely seen in the available marketplaces.
