Abstract

  An expert system is a computer-based application that is used to solve problems as obtained by experts. The aim of designing and building a web-based Design expert system is to facilitate and make it easier to diagnose fish diseases at the Dukupuntang fish seed center, Dukupuntang District. Cirebon. Because currently the uptd of the Dukupuntang fish seed center, Kabupaten Cirebon does not yet have the means to detect and diagnose fish diseases efficiently. To diagnose fish diseases, the majority currently still use manual methods by looking with the naked eye for the characteristics of diseased fish, then carrying out lab tests which take a long time to diagnose the disease. fish so that it is not optimal in cultivating freshwater fish. This sometimes causes many losses, including many fish dying from fish disease due to manual diagnosis and handling. So a web-based expert system application was created as a means of making it easier to diagnose fish diseases at the Dukupuntang Regency fish seed center uptd. Cirebon. The website was created using the PHP programming language, the application interface was developed from the Bootstrap CSS Framework and the database was MySQL. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and literature study, while the method used was RAD (Rapid Application Development). This web-based expert system application can provide information regarding various problems regarding fish diseases. This application allows users to see the symptoms of fish diseases, as well as solutions for treating fish diseases. Key words: Expert System, Website, Diagnosis, Disease, Fish.

Abstract

  P Integrated Services Post (Posyandu) is a health program used in Indonesia to improve maternal and child health at the community level with the aim of providing basic health services at the village or kelurahan level. Posyandu in Sarwadadi Village is an integrated service that has a mission to provide comprehensive services to all Sarwadadi Village residents in Cirebon. Ongoing services at the posyandu where the case study was conducted are still done manually, and the storage of toddler data and treatment data is still done in the form of books. This manual system limits the efficiency and effectiveness of health services. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve the manual system into a technological and computer-based service system. The expected result of this research is to develop a service system that can help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of services at Posyandu Sarwadadi Village, Cirebon. Abstract

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a method for understanding human personality in perceiving the world and making decisions. Identifying a person's personality requires an expert to provide guidance. An expert system is a form of artificial intelligence that adopts expert knowledge (psychologists) to generate information about MBTI personality types. The certainty factor method provides an expert's confidence level, while the Bayes theorem helps manage uncertainty from user input. This research aims to help users recognize their personality to make better future decisions. Based on testing, the system delivers information on MBTI types, their characteristics, and suggestions. From 16 system tests, the certainty factor method achieved an accuracy rate of 100%, higher than the Bayes theorem method, which reached 12.50%. Thus, the certainty factor method is concluded to be more accurate for this MBTI personality test expert system. Abstract

Mango is a major horticultural commodity in Indonesia with significant export potential, but pest attacks often hamper production. To address this problem, this study developed a web-based expert system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Certainty Factor (CF) methods. AHP is used to prioritize pest control, while CF handles uncertainty in diagnosis based on the symptoms entered. The results show that the system can provide accurate diagnosis and appropriate control recommendations. The system’s accuracy is shown by its consistency with manual calculations, with only minor differences due to rounding. The system’s consistent rounding method ensures that these differences are insignificant, making the results as accurate and reliable as manual calculations. For example, the diagnosis of whitefly pests using manual calculation yields 41.03%, while the system yields a result of 41%, with the difference only in rounding. The application of this system is expected to help farmers identify pests more quickly and efficiently, thus maintaining mango production.

Abstract

The rise of kidney disease cases in children has become a serious concern in the health sector. Lack of information related to kidney disease in children can lead to the worsening of the child's illness which can lead to more serious complications. To overcome this problem, the development of an expert system for diagnosing kidney disease in children is an important solution. This expert system is built using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method as a priority determinant (weight) with pairwise comparisons of symptoms in existing diseases and Certainty Factor to calculate the percentage of decision confidence with the knowledge of an expert in this system, which makes it possible to diagnose kidney disease in children. The system is web-based, ensuring easy access for users. In addition, the system also provides appropriate treatment suggestions on the disease, allowing users to take action faster. The end result of this expert system system displays diagnosis results and solutions that can help pediatric patients suffering from kidney disease. Therefore, the development of an expert system for the diagnosis of kidney disease in children has great potential to have a positive impact in the field of health, especially for children. Abstract

Shallots are an important agricultural commodity in Indonesia, but are often threatened by diseases that can harm farmers. To overcome this, this study developed an expert system to diagnose diseases in shallots quickly and accurately. This system combines two methods, namely the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Certainty Factor (CF). The AHP method is used to determine the weight of disease symptoms based on their level of importance, which is then used in the CF calculation to calculate the level of certainty of the diagnosis. The combination of these two methods is expected to increase the accuracy of the diagnosis produced by the expert system. This system is implemented in a web-based platform. The tests carried out showed results that were in accordance with manual calculations. For example, the diagnosis of purple spot disease with the system obtained a result of 31% and manual calculations 31.34%, lanas disease with the system 13% and manual 13.1%, and powdery mildew disease with the system 29% and manual 29.4%. The only difference is in the rounding of the values. Based on the test results, this expert system was successful as expected and can be used by the community to diagnose diseases in shallots. Abstract

Abstract UMKM is one of the industries that supports economic growth in Cirebon City. However, the current condition is that the existence and location of UMKM are difficult for the general public to reach due to the lack of information about the UMKM center itself. Based on these problems, it is necessary to develop an information system for the location of UMKM in Cirebon City to make it easier for the general public to find and know the location of the targeted industry. The system created is implemented in the form of a web-based GIS. In its application, web-based GIS is a digital mapping application that is used to publish data and the location of an object that can be accessed via the web online. The method used in developing this system is the UML method where this method is widely used to visualize and document the software design of a system. The results of this study are in the form of a geographic information system about the location of UMKM centers in Cirebon City that has been successfully built. Abstract

Stunting in toddlers is a serious health problem that can affect children's physical and cognitive development. In Indonesia, stunting is one of the important indicators in assessing the quality of public health. However, early diagnosis and treatment of stunting are still challenges, especially in areas with limited access to adequate health services. To overcome this problem, the development of a web-based expert system is a potential solution. This system utilizes the Certainty Factor (CF) method to assess the level of certainty of diagnosis and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the weight of the criteria that influence the diagnosis. By combining these two methods, it is hoped that the expert system developed can provide a diagnosis of stunting in toddlers quickly, accurately, and consistently, and assist health workers in making the right decisions. This study aims to design and implement a "Web-Based Expert System for Diagnosing Stunting in Toddlers Using the Certainty Factor Method and Analytical Hierarchy Process". Abstract

There are several interesting camping sites in Kuningan. However, this variation often makes it difficult for tourists to choose the most suitable camping site for their needs and tastes. Decision support systems (DSS) are needed in the digital era and advances in information technology to help tourists choose the ideal travel location. TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preferences by Similarity to Ideal Solutions) is one of the useful decision-making techniques. Using this technique, options are ranked according to how close they are to the positive and negative ideal solutions. This allows them to offer transparent and impartial suggestions for each camping destination based on various factors. The objectives of this study are: (1) Develop and build a Decision Support System (DSS) that can facilitate the process of selecting camping destinations in Kuningan; and (2) Utilize the TOPSIS approach to calculate and prioritize the proposed camping locations. The waterfall method of system development is used in this qualitative study with a descriptive analysis methodology. Abstract

Teaching about the solar system at the primary school level often faces various challenges. One of them is the lack of interactive media, so learning is still limited to textbooks and illustrations. In recent years, rapid developments in information and communication technology have brought significant progress. One of them is through the presence of Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This research aims to facilitate the learning process of students at school as well as help parents in explaining the concept of the solar system. This research uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: conceptualisation, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The result of this design and testing process is an Augmented Reality technology-based solar system introduction learning system aimed at elementary school students. The developed application functions as an interactive practicum media, with material that has been adapted to the needs and level of understanding of elementary school children.
