Abstract

The new paradigm development is not only measured from the economic aspect through Gross Domestic Product (GDP), but also viewed multidimensional from the change of social structure, behavior, and national institution. Such social perspective is called social capital. Social capital is considered an important determinant of economic development. so that social capital is placed as one input in development. The purpose of this scientific paper is to analyze the influence of social capital in economic development with the approach of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) in 33 Provinces in Indonesia. The analysis of the effect of social capital on PDRB along with other variables such as physical capital, labor, and human capital is done at the macro level. The limits are the role of social capital in 2017 and 2019 due to data availability. The result of research indicates that social capital has not enough to influence human capital at macro level, while human capital has significant effect to Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB). It can say that social capital indirectly is no effected on GRDP in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a decision support system in recommending the best type of cow. The research data comes from interviews and field observations. Based on these observations and interviews, 5 alternatives were obtained Lemosin (A1), Simental (A2), Bali (A3), Dairy (A4), Brahma (A5), as the selected type of cow and 5 criteria for selecting cattle, namely Origin (A), Price (B), Age (C), Weight (D), and Size (E). This research uses the MFEP (Multi Factor Evaluation Process) method. From the results of research and calculations using the MFEP method, it is found that Lemosin (A1) is the best type of cow with a total weight value of 0.6875.This study aims to implement a decision support system in recommending the best type of cow. Abstract

The study was conducted to understand the effect of the variable number of audit committee meetings, company size, leverage, and managerial ownership on financial reporting fraud. Financial reporting fraud is obtained by using the Beneish M-score index. While the population is taken from service companies in the service, trade and investment sub-sector which are listed on the IDX in 2017-2019. The research was conducted using quantitative methods with purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 96 data and data analysis using logistic regression analysis. From the data processing, it was concluded that only one independent variable was managerial ownership which had an effect on the dependent variable while the other three independent variables (number of audit committee meetings), firm size, leverage) does not have a significant effect on the dependent variable.

Abstract

Evaluation that can be used to assess system performance is performance evaluation based on user perceptions. Users in this system include End Users, namely computer operators from all units, and people who use the output of this system (including management and leadership), namely individuals involved with this system. Evaluation of the system according to user perceptions is very important, because they are the ones who should feel the needs and benefits of the system. Perception is a cognitive process experienced by everyone in understanding information about their environment, either through visions, feelings and experiences. To assess whether the applied information system is running as planned, a measurement is needed. This research uses the PIECES method (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Services) to be able to answer problems. PIECES is a tool in analyzing computer-based information systems, which consists of important points that are useful as guidelines / references in analyzing the system

Abstract

Recruitment is a process of hiring employees who will be placed in one position to carry out certain activities. Generally, the recruitment or hiring of employees has techniques or methods in the appraisal process. Such as the stage of the entrance test or in-person interviews conducted by a psychologist appointed by the company. So in general, the recruitment system is applied manually but the indicators have been determined. The process that occurs takes a lot of time, sometimes in an assessment using feelings, this assessment should be carried out objectively. For this reason, a decision support system for company recruitment was built using the profile matching method. This method is suitable for carrying out the recruitment process based on near-perfect criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the learning outcomes of class XI IPA-3 students of SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong in solving math problems on the subject of two-variable linear equations, 2) Knowing the level of understanding of the steps for solving and working on math problems on the subject of linear equations two variables in class XI IPA-3 SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong. This research uses descriptive method. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA-3 at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong in the academic year 2019/2020. This research was conducted with the research object of the ability to solve two-variable linear equations system problems. Data obtained from the results of written tests and interviews with several students. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of student learning outcomes in class XI IPA-3 is 28.94%. This percentage was obtained because of the 38 students who took the test, only 11 students scored above the KKM (KKM = 77). This shows that the students' abilities are still low. On the other hand, the level of understanding in solving questions based on Bloom's taxonomy, seen from the description of the answers of all students, shows that students in class XI IPA-3 consist of unistructural levels (28.94%), multistructural (39.47%), relational (21, 05%), and extended abstract (10.52%). Meanwhile, the level of understanding of students based on the results of interviews with several students showed that students in class XI IPA-3 consisted of multistructural, relational, and extended relational levels. Overall, both based on student descriptions and interview results, the level of understanding of class XI IPA-3 students tends to be at the multistructural level.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of exports, imports and unemployment on North Sumatra's GRDP. This type of research is a quantitative study with a quantitative descriptive approach. This research was conducted by utilizing data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The sample of this research is 33 districts and cities in North Sumatra for the period 2017 and 2018. In this study, the analysis technique used is to regress panel data so as to produce multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of hypothesis testing, it is found that exports do not have a significant effect on GRDP of North Sumatra. Hypothesis test results also show that imports do not have a significant effect on the GRDP of North Sumatra. Furthermore, unemployment also does not have a significant effect on North Sumatra's GRDP. The contribution to GRDP through exports, imports and unemployment was 8.12%, while the rest was generated by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose for this research is to make a blueprint of State University Of Jakarta website for admission of new students. This site using RestFul API Web Service technology that split in between data processing logic system and user interface so that if the system are in development, developer no need to rebuild or reorganize the whole part of system. The research done at Information and Technology Center (PUSTIKOM) University of XYZ on February until May 2016. Developing method that used are software method development. i.e. spiral development method. Overall there’s 3 main stages of this research and development. There are (1) early research; (2) product development; (3) test and revision of the product. Early research done for identify the problem and search the easy solution for solve that matter. Testing process for the prototype of the product done with media expert test. Data collecting process done by using questionaire which then analyzed with desciptive and quantitative technique. Based on research, testing result show that prototype have 100% score on Validation Test. Based the test result, the blueprint of University Of XYZ website for admission of new students that have been developed declared eglible for use as a milestone of admission of new students system for University of XYZ in a next year.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of E-Commerce, Price and Service Quality on Consumer Interest in PT Nugraha Ekakurir Line (JNE).The research method uses quantitative. The population was 196 consumers and the sample was 132 consumers. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The results of the calculation of hypothesis testing partially and Simultaneously E-Commerce, Price and Service Quality have a positive and significant effect on the Purchase Intention of Medan-Jakarta Delivery at PT Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) Line. HThe result of the coefficient of determination test is the Adjusted R Square value of 0.216, this means 21.6% of the variation of the Purchase Interest variable. which can be explained by the variation of the independent variables, namely E-commerce, Price and Service Quality, while the remaining 78.4% is explained by other variables not examined in this study, such as innovation, level of trust, promotion and development and so on.
