Abstract

In Indonesia Rosella Flowers are used as herbal tea. The process of brewing Rosella Tea is brew 3 – 4 dried rosella petals with 200ml hot water. This brewing process takes a long time from 10 minute or 15 minute. One of way to improved is crushing the rosella flower to little shape with apply PID method. This machine use Atmega32 as controller, speed sensor, laser sensor, and DC Motor as actuator. The working principle of this machine is to stabilize DC motor speed, effective procces is at 900 RPM, in this speed takes 07 minutes 15 seconds to finished the process, and laser sensor has not detected rosella flower to crushing the system will turn off automatically. With percentage overshoot  10.2 %,  settling time 245 seconds, and biggest error of speed sensor is 2.6 % . The reuslt from speed sensor will display at LCD 2*16 to make easily to analysis.

Abstract

Traffic and congestion are an inseparable unit. The main reason is mobility and speed is required. Along with the increase in the number of vehicles, the number of accidents, especially for children, also increases. This study creates a tool that can help police officers in crossing school children. The design of the made tool is a combination of a signal lamp and a wheeled robot. The control used to control the robot comes from a voice from a mobile phone. 360˚ is a maneuver that the robot can perform. To get the speed of the robot, the equation of RPM and wheel diameter (1.68 m/min) was used.

Abstract

The health sector is crucial today. Various medical devices were created to facilitate the work of health workers. One of them is in the routine measurement of nutritional status by measuring the weight and length of children under five at the Posyandu. Several tools used to measure nutritional status are still working separately, and health workers are still calculating nutritional status manually. The purpose of this study is to design a tool that can measure the nutritional status of toddlers by using measurements of weight and length of toddlers simultaneously based on Anthropometric index calculations and comparing with fuzzy calculation analysis to support the results. The results of nutritional status, in this study, used 2 calculations, namely the calculation of the anthropometric index and the analysis of fuzzy measures. Based on the anthropometric index, the assessment of nutritional status used the variables of weight, body length, age, and gender (M/F). The calculation of these variables is processed in the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller and then displayed on the LCD and the Delphi program. A loadcell sensor is used to measure body weight, and a multiturn potentiometer is used to measure body length. Fuzzy calculation analysis used Mamdani, body length/age, and weight/body length methods as input from the anthropometric index and body weight/age to support calculations. The results of this study obtained a measuring tool for the nutritional status of toddlers that can bring up nutritional status based on anthropometric indexes and analysis of Fuzzy Mamdani calculations. This nutritional status measuring device can be used to make it easier for health workers to monitor the development of toddlers

Abstract

Currently, there are many industries that use alternative energy, namely waste energy that is converted into electrical energy, one of which is in the garden sector. Cow dung waste is processed into electrical energy at the Biogas Power Plant, some power plants are usually located in high mountains, which have a low ambient temperature, in this case 21°C. For the purpose of increasing methane gas production, efforts to increase the temperature of the cigar liquid above the ambient temperature of 21°C are attempted by adding boiler water with energy from the rest of the flue gas Covered In-Ground Anaerobi Reaktor (CIGAR) itself a liquid above 21°C. In this case, the waste waste Covered In-Ground Anaerobi Reaktor (CIGAR) is covered with a small Covered In-Ground Anaerobi Reaktor (CIGAR), to accommodate the methane waste. The methane will be used as energy to heat the air which has an initial average (21°C). The result of the air match will go to the mixing tank. The setpoint value at the stove temperature is 150-200 °C and the setpoint value at the maximum air temperature is 55 °C. In the air heating process, when the setpoint value is reached, the microcontroller will instruct the relay to turn off the gas by closing the gas input valve. The gas pressure needed for heating in the water heating process is about 2.2 KPa with a small gas discharge depending on conditions Covered In-Ground Anaerobi Reaktor (CIGAR) in the field. As a result, the water obtained has an average air temperature of 24.2°C with an average air discharge of 2 m⁄s × 379 .

Abstract

Rapid fighting techniques are shooting at materials that require concentration, accuracy, readiness and speed of shooting at targets, which must be performed by a VNI soldier. Soldiers should run out to the firing range at 80, 70 and 50 meters and immediately shoot at moving/underwater targets. What the author wants to do is to perform TTC exercises automatically using a DC motor in the PID method, using sensors at each shooting distance to control the motor on Lesan, so that it does not require personnel to move the target to move or lower Lesan, with the aim help avoid loss of personnel in the event of an accident, during training and more efficient execution of exercises.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the largest producers/producers and consumers of natural gas in the world. The large demand for gas makes the gas industry continue to produce. Gas pipes used in industry have very large sizes. This makes it difficult for workers to carry out pipe maintenance. In the gas production process, there is the possibility of gas leaks that threaten the safety of the workers. Therefore, this research is expected to help workers. A mobile pipe following robot that can detect gas leaks. Robot control can be done manually and automatically. The robot is also based on the internet of things that can be controlled via an android application and the gas leak data will be stored in a web database.

Abstract

One of the important things in military education are three main models, namely academic, behavioral attitude and physical training. Of the three main samples, the non-commissioned officer cadet is obliged to fulfill it. Such as physical training and related activities provided during basic education and skills courses. In this study, a system was made to determine heart rate, body temperature and blood pressure using the PID method. This research aims to make this a tool so that the health care team, when implementing physical activity health support, can quickly and practically help people, especially TNI soldiers. The results showed that PID control is suitable for this tool as it results in significant changes. The resulting response matches the characteristics of the PID controller. The error value between DS18B20 temperature sensor and digital thermometer is 0.22%, for armpit measurement, the error value between pulse sensor and oximeter is 0.6%. Meanwhile, the error value between the MPX5050DP probe and the digital sphygmomanometer is 1.4%.

Abstract

In the era of revolution 4.0 technology is developing rapidly. The control system can be integrated with new technology. Remote technology is applied in various fields. A smart room is a room that can be smartly controlled remotely. The existence of a smart room can make it easier for users to do simple work. In this study, a smart room was made with controlling lights and curtains and being able to monitor the temperature. This study uses an Android smartphone to control it. Smart room works automatically by setting a set timer via an application on an Android smartphone. Smart room prototypes can work manually and automatically. Smart room manual system via an application on an Android smartphone. In this study, the manufacture of android applications using Ionic software. The microcontroller used in designing this smart room system is using ESP WROOM 32. Utilizing the Wi-Fi feature on ESP WROOM 32 as data communication with Android smartphones.

Abstract

Development of the automotive world, more and more fuel oil is required to refuel cars. As the price of oil continues to rise, the automotive industry has begun to develop non-petroleum fueled motorcycles, one of which is electric motorcycles. Although it is currently very difficult to completely replace fossil fuels, the introduction of renewable energy sources will be very important to start immediately. One of them is a system to reuse an existing battery charging system on an electric motor in turn, where, when the engine is running, the charging system uses a DC generator located on the electric motor. And when the engine stops, the charging system uses the current source from PLN.
