Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the jigsaw type cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 023901 Binjai on material changes in appearance on earth. This research is Kemmis and Tagart class action research (CAR). The place of research taken by the author is SD Negeri 023901 Which is located at JL. Talam North Binjai District, Binjai City. The subjects of this study were 20th grade students of SD Negeri 023901, consisting of 11 men, 9 women. This study uses the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model. Based on the results of the study which became the conclusion of this study that the application of the jigsaw cooperative learning model in science learning can improve students learning outcomes on the material changes in appearance on earth fourth grade students of SD Negeri 023901 Binjai. This is evidenced by the increase in learning outcomes of class IV students from the pre-cycle with an average of 58,03, in the first cycle with an average of 70,1, and the second cycle with an average 0f 84,96. The level of classical completeness in the pre cycle was 35%, in the first cycle the level of classical completeness increased to 70% , and in the second cycle it was much higher compared to the pre cycle and the first cycle, which was 85%.

Abstract

This research is aimed to figure out the influences the effect of Numbered Head Together (NHT) and how The student’s result of mathematics studies by using cooperative learning type Numbered Heads Together ( NHT ) compared with students who use conventional learning. Based on the result the student’s research which was taught by the model of cooperative learning type Numbered Heads Together ( NHT ), the average score of the students’ study result was higher than the student of studied with conventional learning. This was found from the average score of experiment class It proved that there was significant influence by applying cooperative learning type Numbered Heads Together ( NHT ) to the students’ result of mathematics learning which could be known from the result of calculation, test – t > t table ( 4,305 > 2,000 ) with decibel calculation ( db) = 49, significant value = 0,05. Therefore Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It meant that the students’ average study result of learning mathematics in experiment class was different with be control.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the result of student learning in learning citizenship education is still low because the teacher uses the lecture method and emphasizes memorization and making notes, student activeness to ask and answer questions in KBM activities is still not optimal so students are less motivated to learn. This research is a classroom action research in class V even semester 066045 Medan Helvetia field in the 2018/2019 school year with a total of 28 students. The acquisition of the results of the first cycle need to follow up on the second cycle, so that significantly the learning outcomes of the second cycle in the meta subjects of citizenship education in organizational material using the word square model increased to 28 students who completed their learning outcomes with a percentage of 100% with an average value of 85.00 from the management of learning outcomes tests in the second cycle the percentage of students' mastery learning has met the target as determined by the percentage of mastery learning ideal of 75% of students who have achieved the KKM score of 75. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning activities using the word square learning model can improve student learning outcomes in fifth grade SD Negeri 066045 Medan Helvetia. on learning civic education, organizational material.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two shelves, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings. Data collection instruments used in this study were observation sheets and tests. Observation Sheets are used to study the activities of students and teachers in the learning process. While the test is conducted at the end of each cycle to learn the improvement of speed reading skills with skimming techniques. Based on the results of observations of learning both in cycle I and cycle II students have learned in accordance with the stages of learning undertaken. In general, based on the results and observations made, the results obtained show an increase in the value of skills in each cycle. Through these results it can be concluded that the skimming technique can improve the speed reading skills of fifth grade students .

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class III B students at SD Negeri 066652 Bakti Luhur, Medan in the material of writing poetry through a contextual learning approach. This research is Kemmis and Mc Class Action Research (CAR). Taggart Research Subjects were students of class III B, totaling 20 students. Data collection techniques to see the implementation of contextual learning using tests, research instruments using test sheets and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques used descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive.The results of the study showed that the application of the contextual learning approach in Indonesian language learning could improve student learning outcomes in the poetry writing material of class III B SD Negeri 066652 Bakti Luhur. This is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes in class III B from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average of 60.29 and the second cycle 90.29. The level of completeness in the first cycle is 10% and in the second cycle becomes 90%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes by using a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 064017 Medan.This type of research is classroom action research (Clasroom Action Research). The research subjects in this research were all grade IV students of SD Negeri 064017 Medan Perjuangan totaling 31 students. This research model uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. The method used in this research is 1) test, 2) observation, 3) documentation. The technique used to analyze data is qualitative data and quantitative data.Social studies learning by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model can improve social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 064017 Medan. Increased social studies learning outcomes in the first cycle by an average of 66.45 and an increase in the second cycle by 81.9.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes of natural science learning material heat energy and its effects in everyday life at SD Negeri 066652 Bakti Luhur T.A 2018/2019. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted II cycle, each cycle including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted at 066652 Public Elementary School devoted to the subjects of class III research students, amounting to 20 students. From the results of the cycle I teacher activity sheet scored 72.72 with sufficient criteria while the cycle I student activity sheet got a value of 54.54 with less criteria and the results of the cycle II teacher activity sheet scored 79.54 with good criteria while the cycle II student activity sheet get a score of 81.81 with very good criteria. Based on the results of learning tests in the first cycle, of the 20 students there were 11 students who completed the percentage of 55% and obtained an average value of 65 and in the second cycle of 20 students there were 18 students who completed the percentage is 90% and an average value of 81 is obtained. From the student learning outcomes can be concluded that through The Method Experiments can improvingstudent learning outcomes in learning science heat energy material and its effect in daily life at SD Negeri 066652 Bakti Luhur TA 2018/2019.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes multiplication material by using a contextual teaching and learning model class III SD Negeri 026602 Tanah Seribu Binjai Selatan. Based on the results of the study showed that there was an increase in Student Learning Outcomes Using the Contextuaal Teaching and Learning Model in mathematics multiplication material in class IIIA of SD Negeri 026602 Tanah Seribu Binjai T.A 2018/2019. This is evident from the learning outcomes of students in cycle I and cycle II. Completeness of student learning outcomes in pre-cycle there are 10 students whose learning outcomes are complete (47%) with an average value of 53.91. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle, there are 15 students who graduated with a mastery level of 52.17% with an average value of 73. Then the learning outcomes of students in the second cycle there were 20 students with a mastery level of 86.96% with an average grade 84.34. And the results of the implementation of the observation of the first cycle teacher with a percentage of 73.86% while the observation of the first cycle students the percentage of 70.45 with enough categories. And the learning outcomes of the observation cycle II teacher with a percentage of 86.36% while the learning outcomes of the observation cycle II students with a percentage of 85.22%.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student interest in learning science subjects by using experimental learning methods. This research includes classroom action research (CAR), which is a type of research conducted by teachers to solve classroom learning problems. The subjects of the study were students of class IIIA at SD Negeri 066652 devoted to noble with 20 students. Data collection techniques conducted in this study through observation, documentation and questionnaires. This activity begins with planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting.The results showed an increase in student interest in learning that has an impact on student learning outcomes so that there is an increase in science subject matter of motion objects. This can be seen from the results. Pre-cycle questionnaire 29.25%, 64.5% in the first cycle and 89.5% for the second cycle. The percentage of teacher activity in the first cycle was 67.5%, the second cycle was 87.5%, then the percentage of the results of the students' activities in the first cycle was 76.3% and the second cycle was 81.5%. The conclusion of this study is that the experimental method can increase student interest in class IIIA Public Elementary School 066652 devoted to noble T.A 2018/2019.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of narrative writing through Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning class III SD Swasta Bakti Luhur. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research is conducted two cycles that each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SD Swasta Bakti Luhur, which amounted to 33 students. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation, and test. The results showed that the skills of students in writing paragraph narrative have increased. Percentage of students writing skill score of first cycle was 36,36%. And Percentage of student writing skill score of second cycle was 90,90 %.
