Abstract

The success of education cannot be separated from the efforts of the principal as a leader in directing and motivating teachers. This study aims to reveal the principal's leadership strategy in improving teacher professionalism. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, data sources include all teachers and vice principals, while data collection is through interview and documentation techniques. The analysis uses continuous participatory techniques, through the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the principal's strategy in increasing teacher professionalism was by activating the teacher working group (KKG), motivating teachers, training, comparative studies, teacher evaluation meetings, classroom supervision, giving punishment and rewards, and through a participatory leadership style.

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning media using Macromedia Flash 8 on the curved side of solid figure material for class IX. This development model uses the model R & D, which has been modified according to the needs of the researcher into (1) problems and potential; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) validation design; (5) revision design; (6) product trial; (7) final production. The data collection technique used is a non-test technique in the form of a questionnaire. Data collection instrument utilized was a validation instrument in the form of a validation sheet, and a practical instrument in the form of a student response questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used is validation data analysis and practicality data of learning media. The results of the analysis of research validation by three validators obtained an average validation of learning media using a Likert scale of 88.56% which was included in the very valid category and the results of the questionnaire analysis of student responses by 12 students to learning media obtained an average of 86,73% is included in the very practical category. The conclusion of the study shows that learning media using Macromedia Flash 8 on the curved side of solid figure material has been tested to be very valid and very practical.

Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools in the form of a syllabus, lesson plans (RPP), and student worksheets (LKPD) with a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on valid statistical material for class VIII SMP. This development uses a 4-D model consisting of four stages, namely the Define stage, the Design stage, the Develop stage, and the Disermination stage. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the 4-D development model was only carried out in three stages, namely: the Define stage (definition), the Design stage (planning), and the Develop stage (development). The data collection instruments used were syllabus, lesson plans, and LKPD validation sheets. The data collection technique used was a non-test technique in the form of a questionnaire validation sheet given to three validators, namely two lecturers of Mathematics Education FKIP UIR and one mathematics teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Singingi. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. From the results of the study, the results of the syllabus validation were 88.71% with a very valid category, for RPP of 85.05% very valid category, and for LKPD 86.85% very valid category. Based on this development research, it was obtained that a learning device using the Problem Based Learning model for statistical material for class VIII SMP was tested for validity.

Abstract

Cognitive ability is the intellectual ability of students in thinking, knowing and solving problems, and the level of success of students is the result of cognitive learning. The learning outcomes can be carried out in class or remotely if conditions do not allow. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence students' cognitive learning outcomes in distance learning based on e-learning. The research method used in this study is a literature study method using a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the factors that influence students' cognitive learning outcomes in distance learning based on e-learning are (1) learning motivation factors, (2) learning readiness factors, (3) family environmental factors, and (4) media factors. distance learning support.

Abstract

This research is a literature study with a qualitative approach that aims to describe the role of Edmodo as an alternative media for online learning in elementary schools during the pandemic. In this study, the author uses various written sources from scientific articles originating from national and international journals as well as documents that are considered relevant to the study in this research. The results of the study show that Edmodo has a role as an online learning media that can be seen from the features it contains, including: note (notes), assignment (tasks), poll (election), quiz (quiz), library (library). Thus Edmodo is one of the effective alternative media to be used in online learning in elementary schools during the pandemic. One of the obstacles faced by elementary school students in using Edmodo as an alternative online learning media during the pandemic is the tendency for one-way learning and the lack of interaction between students and teachers and between fellow students, which results in learning not going as expected.

Abstract

Cooperatives are one of the people's economic forums. The form of economic democracy in Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution is cooperative. The purpose of this study is to find out how the role of cooperative values in providing an impact on the business sustainability of MSME actors. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and FGDs. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model, with the NVIVO 12 program. The results showed that the cooperative values in the batik community were beneficial for members in obtaining capital and ease of production and marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the Arabic language learning method and the students' interest in learning at SMPIT Insan Cendikia Kampar. This research is quantitative research with a correlational approach—the Researcher conducted at SMPIT Insan Cendekia Kampar. The population in this study were all 75 students of SMPIT Insan Cendekia Kampar, while the sample used was total sampling. The data collection technique used in this study is to use a questionnaire instrument for Arabic learning methods. A student learning interest questionnaire was tested to test the validity and reliability of the instrument items used in this study, using reality and reliability tests and normality tests. And linearity. The data processing technique uses SPSS 20 with editing, coding, data tabulation and scoring techniques. Analysis of the research data using Pearson product-moment correlation. The results of this study can conclude that there is no significant relationship between Arabic learning methods on student interest in learning at SMPIT Insan Cendekia Kampar because the probability value is more critical than 0.05, namely 0.463, 0.527, 0.250, 0.448, 0.452 > 0.05 then Ho is accepted. This result of research means that there is no relationship between Arabic learning methods and the learning interests of SMPIT Insan Cendekia Kampar students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of learning Arabic using a blended learning model and to reveal the obstacles faced by students. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection method uses observation and interview techniques. The place of research is at the Arabic Language Education Study Program, IAIN Pontianak. The results of this study are the implementation of Arabic language learning with the Blended learning model carried out in two systems, namely the face-to-face system and the online system. Face-to-face learning is done virtually using the Google Meet application. While online learning is done using e-learning applications and You Tube. The obstacle faced by students when participating in learning is the difficulty in understanding the material, especially when learning is done online. Besides that, the limited internet network also makes students unable to take part in learning well. Learning Arabic with a blended learning model should adapt to the need for communication and interaction between educators and students in the learning process. Learning skills that are expressive should be done with a face-to-face system. Meanwhile, receptive skill learning can be done online.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of digital literacy and learning styles on students' critical thinking skills in economics lessons. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study is the X grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Tukdana, Indramayu Regency in 2022 as many as 150 students. The selected sample was 71 students as respondents, then students were selected using random sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire/questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out through the stages of research data description, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that; (1) digital literacy has a positive effect on critical thinking skills of SMA Negeri 1 Tukdana students, (2) learning styles of SMA Negeri 1 Tukdana students have a positive effect on critical thinking skills of SMA Negeri 1 Tukdana students, and (3) digital literacy and learning styles have a positive but not significant effect simultaneously on the critical thinking skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Tukdana, Indramayu Regency.

Abstract

The effects of promiscuity today cause the younger generation to be damaged. In addition, it also causes the character values or morals that exist in children to begin to erode slowly. Teachers can build religious characters for students through the integration of educational values into mathematics learning in order to form Islamic human beings. Students need religious character to deal with changing times and moral decline. not only through religious education, but also through Islamic mathematics instruction, particularly in integer operationsThis study aims to determine the character values in learning integer operations. This type of research is library research with a qualitative approach, while to analyze it the researcher uses content analysis or content analysis. The results of the data analysis carried out contained six character values in the integer operation material, namely the value of discipline, the value of helping, the value of conscientiousness, the value of hard work, the value of religion, and the value of honesty. With the application of Islamic values, character or morality is formed in students.
