Abstract

As educators it is supposed to make questions for students in school. This problem can see the extent to which students are able to master the material and see how students' ability to absorb material that has been taught by the teacher. Then the problem is analyzed based on the existing provisions. At this time there are still prospective educators who feel confused about how to analyze each item. With this, a study was conducted at MI Darul Hidayah to see how the teacher analyzed the items. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were several stages when analyzed and when the analysis was not only done in one trial but there were other stages.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of class and portfolio assessments in developing students’ interest in reading. The research method used is a description of portfolio instruments, observation, and interviews. The study was conducted at Daan Mogot 1 School in Tangerang, from Juli 2020. Portfolios of twenty-eight of 6th-grade students were used. In addition to using portfolios, data were also obtained from library staff and teachers. The data in the study were the titles of books read by the students, the titles they wanted, and the efforts made by schools and teachers in increasing reading interest. The results show that students' interest in reading was good. The average number of books read in the past year is 6 titles consisting of various books, commonly storybooks, or stories. The program conducted to develop reading interest is visiting the school library every Monday from 1 to 2.30 pm. However, the data taken from the last two months reveal that students’ interest in visiting the library is not satisfying, only 7 students came to visit and read in the library.

Abstract

The study is intended to describe (1) the techniques of processing the results of the evaluation of learning in physical education and sports subjects in fourth-grade students at SDN Malangnengah II (2) Reference for assessment of Physical Education and Sports subjects in fourth-grade students in SDN Malangnengah II (3 ) Determination of scores on Physical Education Sports and Health subjects of fourth-grade students at SDN Malangnengah II (4) Determining scores on grades Physical Education Sports and Health subjects of grade IV students at SDN Malangnengah II. This study uses a qualitative descriptive design, the subject of this study is the field teacher in the Physical and Physical Education subjects. Data collection in this study uses observation and interview methods. Analysis of the data used is the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of this study indicate that (1) Malangnengah II Elementary School has techniques in processing the results of evaluations in Physical and Physical Education subjects (2) there is a reference in giving scores to Physical and Physical Education subjects (3) there are ways in determining scores or scores grading raw scores in Physical and Physical Education subjects (4) Determining scores in Physical and Physical Education subjects in grade IV students at SDN Malangnengah II.

Abstract

There are three components that are considered important in the world of education or teaching, namely, objectives, methods, evaluation. The most important stage in the learning process is evaluation. The benefit of evaluation is to be able to know the achievement of learning objectives and vice versa learning objectives are a reference in carrying out evaluations using Bloom's Taxonomy theory. Bloom's Taxonomy is a level in identifying student skills from the basic to the highest levels. Education can be done through teaching and training efforts by educators. In this case, 3 domains that make reference in education are as follows: (1) Cognitive Domain, (2) Affective Domain, (3) Psychomotor Domain.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is feared by the majority of students, especially elementary school students. This is because abstract mathematical material is also presented abstractly. Mathematics for elementary school students must be presented concretely so that it can be understood by students. One of the mathematical material is the fraction operation. The material is often presented abstractly with a formula so that students do not understand the meaning of the material. The impact is that many students have difficulty doing the fractional counting operations, especially the counting operations of the fractions which are not the same. Currently, in the learning process, students use thematic teaching materials where fractions are included in thematic learning. In the development process, there is also a validity stage where the validity of this test is a test of fractional thematic learning conducted by three people namely the material expert.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of developing creative skills in early childhood. Creativity is a person's ability to create something new, unique, different from the previous one, and original in the form of ideas and real work which is the result of creative and imaginative thinking. This study aims to determine the effect of using foam art media on the development of children's creativity. This research method is to use a literature study. A literature study is a research whose data collection comes from books, newspapers, magazines, articles, journals, and other sources that are appropriate with the study material. The research findings show that foam art media can improve the creative ability of early childhood. Children's creativity can be trained since childhood, by making creative creations from foam art, inviting children to make creative creations from foam art will be a fun activity for children. Foam art is a material that is soft and safe for children, easily shaped, and has a variety of striking colors that are suitable for developing children's creativity. Thus the foam art media can improve children's creative abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the resilience of middle adult Minangkabau women after the death of a spouse. This research uses qualitative research methods using a phenomenological approach through observation and interview methods. The criteria for the informants of this study were middle adult Minangkabau women who were widowed because of the death of their husbands. Middle adult Minangkabau women who experience the death of their partner initially have deep feelings of sadness, feelings of distrust, and even loss of motivation to live. After some time and influenced by several factors that influence resilience, namely individual factors, family factors and community factors, finally the subject can become a resilient individual. The subject can take the positives of the problem, make the subject able to empathize and make the subject often interact with their environment and also often do positive things.

Abstract

This study aims to determine self-acceptance in adventitious blindness. This is a qualitative phenomenological study and data were analyzed using the IPA (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis). Three adventitious blindness, aged 20-40 years had participated in this study. This study uses interviews and observation techniques. The results of this study indicate that individual self- acceptance starts from the phase of shock, adjustment, acceptance until there is new hope. Shock phases occur at the beginning of blindness. While the adjustment please is in the form of changes in the subject's attitudes and the accepting phase until the emergence of new hopes for the subject. The dynamics that occur in each individual are different to be able to accept the condition of the self. Gathering with other blind people and feeling more fortunate to be one of the things that affect the subject's self-acceptance in this study.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to determine the learning process of Basic Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model for Class X Students of Mechanical Engineering at SMKN 6 Malang and student responses in improving learning outcomes and increasing learning outcomes of Basic Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering for Class X Students of Mechanical Engineering at SMKN 6 Malang Team Games Tournament (TGT) model. The research method used was Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The results show that the improvement of the learning process using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model in the subject of Basic Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering (PDTM) Class X Mechanical Engineering students of SMKN 6 Malang has been going well. Based on the results of observations and observations made during the action process, it can be concluded that using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model can improve the learning process, thus showing students to be motivated, active and innovative in the implementation of learning in class. The Team Game Tournament (TGT) learning model can improve student learning outcomes on the competency standards of Basic Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering (PDTM) in Class X Mechanical Engineering Students of SMKN 6 Malang. The increase can be seen before the action is taken as many as 12 students or 40% of students complete according to the KKM standard (75). In Cycle I, the increase also increased to 20 students or 66.67%. Then in the last action or cycle II there was an increase again of 33 students completed or 100%. This illustrates that with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model, student learning outcomes are better than before. Learning using the Team Game Tournament (TGT) model can provide a positive response to students. This means that students are happier in following MPDPL subjects.
