Abstract

Pay-per-click is one of common and important ways in online advertising through Google; but some keywords are usually expensive and this issue is visible through Google cost-per-click in Google keyword planner tool. It has done many research work in Google advertising formats, but place of studies in field of relationship between Google cost-per-click and keyword search-volume, especially in tourism area is blank. This paper tries to answer of this main question that is there a significant relationship between cost-per-click and keyword search-volume and the number of keyword's word? In other words, does cost-per-click increase or decrease, based on keyword search-volume and the number of keyword's word (multi-word keyword or hyper focused keyword phrases)? Chicago auspicates a mighty increase in tourism 2022 as its announcement an 86 percent growth in visitors in 2021 compared to 2020 and choosing the right keyword in Google search engine by travel agencies can lead to more sales. In this research, I sampled 100 search result through combination of ″chicago+tours″ as a search keyword on google.com (Google USA) and Google keyword planner daily data (December 26, 2022) based on the last 7-10 days, and via regression analysis with least squares and loess model, I tried to investigate the relationship between search-volume and cost-per-click and it will help scholars in future research in this area. This study was carried out within the scope of selected keyword in tourism area in form of cross-sectional. I find that there is no significant relationship between short-tail keywords and cost-per-click. The result of this research shows that some medium or long-tail keywords are more expensive than short-tail keywords with more search results. Another result that was observed is the lack of significant relationship between keyword search-volume and its cost-per-click, so that in some cases, high-search keywords are cheaper than keywords with a low-search.

Abstract

The manual nature of Material Store such as Toko Bangunan Berkat Rezeki's current business operations is one of the hurdles it encounters in marketing. This study intends to build a marketing information system for the products and services of Toko Bangunan Berkat Rezeki utilizing the 4P marketing mix idea (product, price, place, and promotion). The framework for application design is design thinking, which includes empathy, defining, ideating, prototyping, and test phases. Business owners, employees, and customer's requirements are identified during the empathize phase. In addition, at the designated stage, each system user's business operational difficulties are ranked according to a scale of importance. At the ideate stage, the outcomes of selecting and organizing problems and wants of system users based on priority scales are used to create flows and authorities according to their respective functions. At the prototype stage, the application interface is designed based on the demands and rules of system users and follows the 4P marketing mix concept. In the testing phase, test the login procedure for each user and the procedures for adding, saving, viewing, updating, and removing data. The findings of this study indicate that information on products, product prices, and product promotions may be handled by a website-based marketing information system, such that place is no longer synonymous with a physical store but rather an intangible one. Consequently, Toko Bangunan Berkat Rezeki can employ a website-based marketing information system to enhance sales volume and expand its market reach.

Abstract

Finding a secure and comfortable parking space is one of the needs of automobile owners when they visit retail centers. The ability of parking lot managers to provide information on sufficient capacity and access presents a barrier to delivering parking facilities in retail centers. Due to this, a website-based parking facility management information system is required, allowing drivers to make reservations and payments online based on when they plan to visit the shopping center. The method used in the design of ParkHere information systems is design thinking which consists of empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing stages. The output of this study shows that at the empathize stage, motorists need information about the capacity of parking lots in various shopping centers before visiting the location. At the defined stage, this shows the need for motorists for website-based and real-time parking facility information. At the idea stage, it is necessary to design an information system based on the website that provides information on the capacity of parking facilities based on the operational time of the shopping center. At the prototype and testing stages, the ParkHere information system can answer the user's needs in choosing a place and location for vehicle parking based on the specified time.

Abstract

Elevated rates of child mortality in many developing contries can be attributed to a complex interplay of poverty, malnutrition, and a host of preventable and non-preventable diseases. While vaccines for many of these diseases have been widely disseminated in developed countries through efforts from organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, adherence to vaccination schedules remains suboptimal in less affluent nations. This shortfall is largely due to the challenges parents and guardians face in scheduling and maintaining vaccine appointments for their children. To address this gap, our study employed the Design Science Research Process (DSRP) model to develop an integrated booking and SMS reminder system aimed at simplifying the immunization process. The application was engineered using Object-Oriented Agile methodologies and incorporates a prototype for client testing and early-stage implementation. As immunization stands as a cornerstone for managing vaccine-preventable diseases, this system offers a crucial solution to enhance child healthcare. It not only aids in reducing mortality rates but also simplifies the documentation and archival of vaccination records, thereby improving their accessibility. This system introduces an innovative approach that allows parents to book their child’s vaccination appointments online, thereby eliminating the need for physical presence at healthcare facilities. The implementation of this system is expected to alleviate congestion in clinics and hospitals, streamlining the vaccination process and potentially improving overall public health.
