Abstract

This study, entitled "Public Participation Messages in Achieving Good Governance in the Digital Era," aims to analyze how public participation through digital media can improve the quality of good governance in Indonesia. The background to this research is based on the rapid development of information technology, which has encouraged the formation of new participatory spaces between the public and the government. Research data shows a significant increase in public digital participation, from 40% in 2015 to 85% in 2023, with a projection of 90% by 2025. This coincides with an increase in the good governance index from 50% to 85% during the same period (BPS, 2023; Ministry of Communication and Information, 2024). The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with secondary data analysis techniques from various official sources such as We Are Social, BPS, and the Ministry of Communication and Information. The theory used refers to Dwiyanto's (2020) perspective on the principles of participation, accountability, and transparency in governance, as well as the opinions of Sukamto (2021) and Rahman Yuliana (2022) regarding the importance of digital participation as an effective means of public communication. The research results show a positive correlation between increased public digital participation and improvements in the good governance index. Digital media is an effective means for the public to express their aspirations, monitor public policies, and strengthen government transparency and accountability. However, this study also identified challenges in the form of a digital divide and low digital literacy in rural areas (Hidayat, 2023). In conclusion, public participation in the digital era plays a strategic role in realizing good governance. Inclusive policies and equitable access to technology are needed so that all levels of society can actively contribute to the development process, oversight, and transparent and accountable public decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of the LinkedIn platform as an innovative strategy in attracting Generation Z to enter the workforce. The focus of the study is directed to how LinkedIn acts as a medium for forming an individual's professional image and as a strategic tool for organizations in strengthening employer branding. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach through the study of literature (library research). Data were collected from various scientific sources, such as national and international journals indexed by SINTA and Google Scholar, in the period 2015-2025. The analysis process is carried out by content analysis which includes stages of data reduction, theme categorization, and interpretation of findings to build a comprehensive conceptual understanding. The results show that LinkedIn plays an important role in two main dimensions. First, for Generation Z individuals, LinkedIn is an effective medium for developing personal branding, increasing competence, and expanding professional networking. Second, for organizations, LinkedIn serves as a means of employer branding that allows companies to display values, work culture, as well as a positive reputation to attract potential young Labor candidates. The integration between these two roles results in a mutually beneficial relationship between the individual and the organization. This research confirms that utilizing LinkedIn can be a two-way strategy that strengthens Generation Z's career readiness while supporting an organization's reputation in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate alternatives for the development of Green Open Spaces (GOS) in densely populated residential areas in the IKIP Jatikramat Bekasi Lecturers' Housing Complex, with a focus on innovative and adaptive strategies to address land constraints and the ecological and social needs of the area. The research method uses a qualitative approach through literature study and descriptive case analysis. Data was obtained through literature on Green Open Spaces (RTH) and green infrastructure, as well as field observations related to green space potential, drainage conditions, and community participation. The findings were analysed in an integrated manner to formulate relevant recommendations for the development of Green Open Spaces (RTH). The results of the study show that the development of Green Open Spaces (RTH) in dense settlements can be done through the use of vertical and horizontal space. Recommendations include the application of green roofs and green walls, the construction of pocket parks on limited land, and community gardens to strengthen social interaction and food security. Rain gardens and bioretention are considered effective in reducing water runoff, while tree planting and green infrastructure-based drainage revitalisation increase environmental absorption. Successful implementation is determined by community participation, policy support, environmental education, and stakeholder collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Village Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbangdes) in Sleman Regency in realizing participatory development. Using a qualitative method based on literature review, the study examines the implementation of Musrenbangdes through a policy implementation approach, community participation theory, and the concept of participatory development. The analysis was conducted by examining the dynamics of the deliberation process, the involvement of actors, and the extent to which the Musrenbangdes mechanism was able to accommodate the aspirations of residents in village planning. The results of the study show that Musrenbangdes is quite effective in terms of transparency, information dissemination, and aspiration absorption, especially in villages with strong apparatus capacity and good use of information technology. In addition, most of the community's proposals were successfully integrated into planning documents such as the RKPDes and RPJMDes. However, the quality of meaningful participation still faces structural obstacles, including the dominance of local elites in the deliberation process, disparities in community capacity and literacy, and the weak role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in carrying out its representative and supervisory functions. Variations in effectiveness between villages are also influenced by social characteristics, local culture, leadership quality, and the ability of village facilitators to create an equitable discussion space. Overall, the study confirms that Musrenbangdes has a strategic role in strengthening participatory development in Sleman, but institutional capacity building, consistent transparency, strengthened oversight, and improved deliberation quality are needed to make the village planning process more inclusive, responsive, and accountable.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate women's protection institutions in terms of empowerment, so that services and innovations for resolving issues are in line with the ongoing situation. The focus of the research is the evaluation of the institution. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observations and documentation in the field. The theory used in this study is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model by Stufflebeam. The results of the study show that there are indicators in the independent women's protection institution that are not optimal, so there is a need for additional resources. Context evaluation revealed that there are limitations in terms of needs and the scope of the area, which must be expanded as soon as possible. Input evaluation revealed a shortage of human resources, funding and supporting facilities, which need to be increased for optimal performance. Process evaluation found that the programme was already being implemented well, in line with the previously set objectives, but adjustments were needed in light of the ongoing development of science and technology. In the product evaluation, the implementation of existing programmes and the addition of new programmes in line with the evolving issues facing women must be carried out on a continuous basis. There is a need for programmes and activities to be publicised so that the community is willing to open up and report any problems they experience. Empowering institutions like this can serve as examples or pioneers for other regions, with the aim of achieving independence, welfare and solving women's issues.
