Abstract

This research examines the political economy of policies and policy networks in Palembang policies to handle pandemic. So far, policy studies with a political nature have always placed policy products as the result of the compromise based on "profit and loss" between stakeholders. Therefore, policy products always prioritize rationality. The significance of our research is trying to analyze rational and non-rational factors in policy studies with a political character. Our research focus is pandemic policy in Palembang City. We use a political economy approach to analyze policy network which assumes that every policy always involves networks -state and non-state - having an interest in the policy. The method we use is a case study-based qualitative method with a data collection strategy through in-depth interviews for primary data and documentation studies to collect secondary data. The study found that the character of policy network for dealing the pandemic in Palembang was a bureaucratic network in which the stakeholders were dominated by the bureaucracy. Then, we also find that in policy studies in crisis situations, the "humanity" factor appears as the interests of the stakeholders, who generally prioritize the factor of rationality.

Abstract

Abstract

The plantation has a great potential in contributing to the economy in Indonesia. So, the government makes a policy in the form of laws No. 18 in 2004 about The Plantations. The ACT of Plantation regulates about the management of the Plantation and a clear legal protection through The Core of People's Plantations (Perkebunan Inti Rakyat/PIR). But the presence of The Plantation ACT is questioned its allignment. The Core of People's Plantations System which has been set up in the ACT of any impact on social change community around the plantations, such as indigenous land that changes into a plantation area, changes in social status, community life, patterns of change value systems in society, and so on.

Abstract

The cleric of South Sumatra is a central figure who has a very wide authority. They have a multifunction with polymorphic leadership. Historical facts show that they are civilization actors who respond to various problems of South Sumatra in the twentieth century. These problems are characterized by the religious phenomenon of postmodernism and the problems of religious articulation diversity. To respond to these phenomena and problems, some South Sumatra clerics such as K.H. Anwar Kumpul, K.H. M. Zen Syukri, K.H. Zainal Abidin Fikry is actively involved in practical politics and community empowerment. K.H. Anwar Kumpul, K.H. M. Zen Syukri, K.H. Zainal Abidin Fikry actively participates in practical politics, has a spirit of patriotism and nationalism, actively involved nature community empowerment through da'wah activities, education, social, religious and military. Their involvement in practical politics and community empowerment has implications for progress in South Sumatra. This study deconstructs collective perceptions and memories that assume that scholars should not engage in practical politics, since practical politics do not represent morality and honesty, a condition with ambition and avarice that is contrary to Islamic shari'a.

Abstract

Political party has position and important part of democration and rule of law systems. There are both of their correlation systems based on sovereignity. According to rule of law that secure human right, esspecially at freedom of political. Political party is one of democrationed media. So Romo Magnis suseno said that democration without rule of law unmeaning. Problem solving in these cases are what is mean of political party and how daoes political party build rule of law by democration principle. Conclusion that dynamical of Indonesian political party has tended to goverment power and did not look state interest itself. That tendension focuses to monopolized of goverment at the other sector. We knew that political party is tool of public aspiration to make good condition. It is one of intitutional which has ideal, vision, though and public care sense of democration. And in constructing democration of Rule of law system and good governance must be created by good public service, openes and accountability of state institutions. Because of them we must do rule of law and democrations principles. Example professional free press and educated.

Abstract

Islam is a religion perfect and comprehensive, it should have a major role in the political life of a country. To go toward the integration of society, the state and the Islamic ijtihad is needed that will provide guidance for parliamentarians or politicians in explaining hujahnya in politics. And the interaction of Muslims living in the modern world with the political will give new experiences and challenges towards a just and prosperous society. A clean and healthy politics will increase public confidence, especially in Indonesia that Islam is indeed manage all aspects from the economic, social, military, cultural to political. Political institutions in Islam, among others, consists of the concepts of the constitution, legislation, shura and democracy and also the ummah. Islam made ​​in the constitution is in order as the guidelines and rules of the game in the relationship between government and the people. Legislation created to deal with affairs of state and government set a law that will be enforced and implemented by people. While the shura and democracy are two interrelated things, shura is in deliberation and democracy also emphasizes the element of deliberation. And the ummah or community can be defined nation, people, people, communities and so on. It could be said that the people of an organization are bound by the rules of Islam.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain data and information relating to the supervision and performance of employees. Research methods used in this research is descriptive research method of analysis. Then the data obtained processed and compiled up to gained clarity about the influence of the variable variable bound against free. Data collection techniques used through three ways: 1) observation (direct observation against the object of the research); 2) interviews; 3 question form); 4) study of the documentation. Based on a number of data research results and hypothesis test results by using path analysis (path analysis), it can be concluded that the direct and indirect supervision has a significant influence on performance of religious Ministry Office clerk in Tasikmalaya Regency. The magnitude of the influence on performance of such oversight specified direct and indirect supervision. The greatest contribution given by direct supervision then followed by indirect supervision.

Abstract

Environmental values prevailing in a society associated with a community perspective in viewing environment. These values look at society and the environment as a whole. The research looked at how these environmental values into a symbols are interpreted together and then disseminated throughout the community. There is a process of environmental communication that shows how human interaction with the natural environment, especially in rural communities. Through ethnographic methods of communication, the results of this study indicate that there is a process of meaning in society is the construction process on the environment. It is spread from one generation to the next through activities in accordance with the typology and characteristics of the community, namely Semende community. This deployment takes place naturally and follow routines residents, with the main viewpoint is the integrity and sustainability of the local environment.

Abstract

Intention of this research is to understanding the role of PGRI university Palembang to elevate democracy to its student. This method research use the quantitative research procedure [is] way of measurement by using traditional Scale Guttman model ( cross sectional) in the form of number, percentage. The result of research show that the opinion from interview by 30 are manager Ormawa in environment of PGRI university Palembang, that is from result interview shall be as follows ( 1) indicator of college student knowledge to knowledge democratize that is equal to 64,75%, in meaning enough its Knowledge in democratizing. ( 2) Indicator of student involvement in campus democracy that is equal to 39,40%, meaning students are do not got mixed up with by a campus democracy in PGRI university Palembang. ( 3) Assessment Indicator of equal to 21,67% meaning campus democracy in PGRI university Palembang assessed is not effective and efficient. ( 4) indicator of freedom Expectation democratize equal to 68,20%, meaning Ormawa hope to own the role and freedom creativity in democratizing PGRI university Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing strategy carried out by the Best Skip Hotel in increasing the number of residents. Best Skip Hotel is a 2 star Hotel located in the center of Palembang. Best Skip Hotel has complete facilities with cheap and affordable tariffs for all people. The methods used in this research is to use descriptive qualitative methods, data collection techniques conducted by researchers through interviews, documentation, and observation. Primary data sources in this study are the General Manager, Marketing Team, Hotel visitors, and Hotel staff and employees. While the secondary data source is in the form of documents, organizational structure, and books related to research. The Hotel implements several communication models such as direct and indirect communication. Direct communication conducted by this Hotel is in the form of Sales Promotion, Personal Selling, and Direct Selling. While the indirect communication made by this Hotel is by using promotions through social media such as Facebook, Tweeter, Instagram, the internet, brochures, and so on. The Best Skip Palembang Hotel adopts a strategy that is more focused on promotional activities, but the Hotel also strives to maximize the quality of its products, facilities, price, and services in order to meet customer needs. Marketing promotion activities carried out by Marketing at the Best Skip Hotel are through promotional banners and internet promotions, because these promotional activities cost relatively cheaply but can have maximum results. The internal activities of the Hotel every day hold daily meetings to monitor how the development and condition of the Hotel. The next strategic process is by analyzing the situation by Marketing and Hotel Managers such as conducting research by analyzing Income Audit reports or daily income in the form of finances and the number of guests staying. In addition, the Marketing also monitors customer feedback or responses through customer comments on the Hotel Website. Factors that influence the stay at the Best Skip Hotel is because this Hotel has a cheap price and fairly complete facilities.
