Abstract

This article is of the view that the presence of philosophy in cyberspace, especially YouTube, has eliminated the "heavy side" of philosophy. Philosophy is constructed in an entertainment style that is easy to watch, even though it cannot necessarily be understood and interpreted as it should be. The emergence of philosophy on YouTube has succeeded in establishing the authority of philosophers for the individuals who popularized it. Research data was explored from Husein Ja'far Al-Hadar's YouTube channel. To facilitate research, the research question was asked about the process of "becoming a philosopher" in the world of YouTube. Research findings suggest that the process of becoming a Muslim philosopher on YouTube is formed through the number of followers and consistency in discussing philosophy. Then, authority is strengthened by social attributes, such as educational background, social status and knowledge of Islamic philosophy. Lastly, the authority of Muslim philosophers formed through YouTube makes philosophy not express its true form because it exists as entertainment which is contradictory to the orthodoxy of Islamic philosophy.Keywords: Muslim Philosopher, Youtube, Authority and Husein Ja'far.

Abstract

In the history of the relationship between teachers and students in the Islamic world, it turns out that little by little it has begun to change, moral values little by little have begun to diminish. As time goes by, not a few Islamic boarding schools try to adapt and are willing to accept changes, but there are also quite a few Islamic boarding schools that have the attitude of closing themselves off from all changes and influences of the times, and tend to maintain what they believe in. Likewise what happened at the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School, Lau Bakeri Village, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. Departing from the background of this problem, the authors formulated two problem formulations, namely what is the role of the ustadz or teacher in instilling moral education for students at the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School? And what is the impact on students in improving moral education at the Darularafah Raya Islamic Boarding School? The methodology used in this research is field research (Field Research) with direct observation, interviews in the field with several ustadz and students. The results of research on the morals of santri towards ustadz at the Darularafah Raya Islamic boarding school are that there are several forms of moral development for santri, such as: First, the forms of moral formation in Islamic boarding schools include: moral education because students will automatically carry out these activities without having to be forced. Second, the role of the Ustadz in developing the morals of students in Islamic boarding schools includes: a) The Ustadz as a caregiver provides lessons in understanding, deepening, appreciating and practicing the teachings of the Islamic religion by emphasizing the importance of religious morals as a guide to daily behavior, b) The Ustadz as a teacher or lecturer and mentor for students. Guidance by providing appropriate advice explained in the Koran, hadith and books, c) Ustadz as a second parent for the students. Instilling faith in students, guiding religious practices and developing students' morals. And third, the impact of moral development on students in Islamic boarding schools includes: a) The impact of moral development on students provides positive values, b) the attitudes and behavior of the majority of students carry out all the rules in Islamic boarding schools, c) the morals of these students have a very good impact on assistance from guidance provided by ustadz and ustadzah as well as assistance from existing regulations.

Abstract

This research is entitled The effect of reading comprehension of the Koran on the quality of faith of Santri Analysis Studies at the Islamic Center of Medan. The discussion about the Islamic Center focuses on Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzhil Quran, which incidentally is the reader and memorizer of the Koran. The condition of the Hifzil Qur'anic students is that reading the Qur'an does not reach them, but only until the reading is fluent. Because what they read does not match what they practice. Remembering the hadith of Rasulullah SAW will come out of my ummah, when reading the Qur'an does not reach his heart, but only reaches his throat. (H.R. Bukhari), so that it can reduce or damage the quality of students' faith.With the above discussion, I formulate the discussion and the goal is to find out how the obligation of students to read and understand the reading of the Koran and to find out how students practice the values of reading the Koran, to increase faith in the Islamic Center Medan.The method used in this study is through field research (Fiel Research) with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques are processed from direct observations with field interviews, with a total of three informants and documentation, data analysis is carried out using descriptive analysis, which includes collecting data, filtering, classifying data and drawing conclusions.The results of research conducted at the Islamic Center focused on Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzhil Quran is the obligation of students to the Koran only to deposit, without paying attention to tajwid and makharijul letters, and what they read is not in accordance with what they are doing, prioritizing quantity over quality, reading quality students are below average, and they understand only one percent of the Quran they read, because they do not know how to practice it, and the method they use is the talaqqi method.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence as a gift from God. Emotions require proper control from an early age in order to develop well. The large number of cases related to the decline in morals among students requires the instilling of the concept of emotional control in students. The purpose of this article is to examine and discuss emotional intelligence from the perspective of the Koran as an effort to overcome moral degradation among students. This research uses the library research method by utilizing data sources in the form of library literature such as articles, journals and websites that discuss emotional intelligence from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of this research are that humans are described in the Al-Qur'an as God's creation and are given extraordinary potential in the form of emotions that will have an impact on life. The ability to control emotions, that is what is called emotional intelligence. The characteristics of emotional intelligence can be identified from self-awareness, self-regulation abilities, motivation, empathy and social skills. All of these characteristics of emotional intelligence were described in the Qur'an long before Western theory used the term for emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence in the Qur'an is exemplified by being patient, fearing Allah, holding back anger, controlling sadness and happiness as best as possible in accordance with instructions from Allah in the Qur'an. The conclusion from this research is that controlling emotions is not an easy thing when it is not based on faith in the guidelines of the Al-Qur'an. This control needs to be trained from an early age through role model education from parents to their children.Keywords: Al-Qur'an; Emotional Intelligence; Neuroscience; Moral; Learner.

Abstract

This research is entitled Youth association in a review of ethical philosophy (a phenomenon in Karang Baru Village, Datuk Tanah Datar District, Coal District). Intercourse in adolescence is an important thing to continue to be monitored properly, and this becomes the focal point of the source of the problem that is used as the background in this research and is used as a form of scientific work in the form of a thesis. This thesis describes the subject matter of the research problem which is divided into 3 sub-problems, namely, first discussing how the form of youth association in Karang Baru Village, Datuk Tanah Datar District, Coal Regency, secondly discussing what factors influence ethics in relationships among teenagers in Indonesia. Karang Baru Village, Datuk Tanah Datar District, Batubara Regency, the third discusses how the social ethics of juvenile delinquency in Karang Baru Village. For this reason, this thesis aims to find out some of the problems that have been exposed in the formulation of the problem in order to get the results of a study. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method or field research (Field Research) and the type of approach used is a phenomenological approach. The data sources used are primary data sources, namely adolescents aged 13-16 years and secondary data sources, namely community leaders from Karang Baru village. In this study the authors collect data through field observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in the association of adolescents there are several ethics that need to be applied so that in their association they can be directed to a better realm. And the phenomenon obtained in this study is that there are several teenagers who fall into the category of good association and bad association. Good association is that various teenagers still want to join in positive activities in the village such as helping mothers and fathers in religious activities, carrying out routine activities to clean the mosque every Friday. While the bad association is that some teenagers often do reckless behavior on the streets that are always passed by the community, hang out with the opposite sex without any restrictions, often hang out together and play online games without remembering the time, so that from this form of association many are the reasons for this. behavior of a child towards his parents is not good.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach because it seeks to provide an in-depth description of the main problem of this study, namely the understanding of the KOPRI cadres of the UIN SU Medan commissariat towards feminism. While this type of research is philosophical research because the object studied is about the existence of feminism in student organizations. Thus this research is modeled on research on actual problems. The results of this study are: 1) Broadly speaking, the KOPRI cadre of the UINSU commissariat understands feminism as a collective work in which justice is spoken, and justice is the language of the world. So the variety of ideas in feminism does not mean that feminism contains utopian things and is full of fallacies. But as proof that women are able to formulate their ideas through their own experiences and can change the life of the world for the better. Thus, it can be concluded that the understanding of the KOPRI cadre of the UINSU commissariat is close to the understanding of moderate Islamic feminism. 2) The background of the formation of the understanding of KOPRI cadres of the UIN-SU Commissariat towards feminism begins with an awareness of their position and role as cadres, students, Muslims, and women. So that through this position they have accurate data related to feminism, while through this role they have the awareness to conduct a systemic empirical assessment of feminism, because feminism offers various analyses of the causes, perpetrators of women's oppression.Keywords: Comprehension, KOPRI, Feminism.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach because it seeks to provide a description of the influence of social layers and age in shifting and applying customary rules such as manners and rituals to the Javanese community in Mangga Dua Village. While this type of research is philosophical sociology because the object under study is the community group with the continuity of interaction in it, the existence of an applicable value system, and especially the deroutine of the old value system and social reproducibility through the recurrence of social practices. The study revealed that; 1) the ethical values of manners in the Javanese family environment consist of, namely; a) tolerance, (ethics of understanding), b) prioritizing the process of developing self-maturity, c) attitudes and choices are determined by the expectations of society, d) good and bad are relative, e) being subtle, f) being prudent. As for the ethics of manners, the most important thing is to be selfless which means accepting his own place, and fulfilling obligations which means doing what each human being should do according to his place in the cosmos. 2) the forms of shifting etiquette ethics in the Javanese family environment of Mangga Dua Village, Tanjung Beringin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, are as follows; a) manners in communication: people have rarely used Javanese in interactions between individuals in their daily lives. In addition, in the family environment, communication between parents and children is dialogue or discussion, compared to the past which is listening and obedient. b) manners in social interactions: in this case there are still old values that continue to be maintained to this day are still in force, although the rules in this manners are not as strict as in the past. c) dressing: the Javanese people in Mangga Dua village only wear kebaya clothes during certain occasions.Keywords: Shift, Manners, Ritual.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research that aims to determine the community's response to the existence of the Al-Qur'an Tafsir Council (MTA) Pamatang Sidamanik Branch in Sinaman II Village. Collecting data using the method of observation, documentation and interviews. The research data was analyzed using a descriptive analysis method. The results of the study show that the existence of MTA reaps the pros and cons of the community. The existence of MTA makes it easier for pilgrims to understand Islamic teachings in depth by referring to the Qur'an and Sunnah. Meanwhile, the response from the community outside the MTA congregation was quite diverse. Some of them appreciate it, others are neutral and even reject it. This is due to several factors, including ideological factors, educational background and personality.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) the concept of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar in Islam (2) the role of the Majlis Tafsir Qur'an (MTA) Representative of Deli Serdang in implementing amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. This research uses a descriptive approach with a qualitative research type. The descriptive approach aims to systematically and accurately describe the facts and characteristics regarding the population or regarding the field. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique uses the credibility test, transferability test and confirmability test. The results of the study show that there are many strategies used by the Majlis Tafsir Koran in playing the role of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. As is done in various activities, for example in the Religious Sector, the Economic Sector, even in the Health Sector. All of these work programs have activities that will be carried out within a year. And every year, all activities carried out are always endeavored to continue to improve their quality. As for the role of the Majlis Tafsir Qur'an (MTA) in implementing amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, namely among the few male and female participants of the MTA Representative of Deli Serdang who have conducted interviews about 'Has MTA succeeded in making the congregation stay away from or leave everything that could cause evil' their answers are almost the same. They said the MTA Deli Serdang Representative with God's permission would make them become better individuals with their recitation activities. The role of the Deli Serdang Representative Council of Tafsir Al-Qur'an in society is enormous. For example in Social Activities such as; blood donors, sending SAR TEAM when there is a disaster, slaughtering sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha and many more.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a guide for mankind, all aspects are discussed in the Qur'an, one of which is related to halal and haram food. So, as Muslims, we must obey and submit to the teachings of the Islamic religion, so that humans will get blessings in their lives because they carry out what Allah has commanded. Halal food is food that is allowed in Islamic law to consume it, the appropriate food is taught in Islamic law, namely halalan thoyyiban (halal and good). On the other hand, haram food is food that is prohibited in Islam and is obtained from theft. Usually Allah forbids something there must be shortcomings and harms, both what we already know and what we don't know and everything that Allah has forbidden there must be wisdom behind it. Food and drink as well as a living earned in an unlawful way are also very influential in the life of a Muslim. Among them, it is stated that haram food is one of the reasons why it is difficult for one's prayer to be answered. Even in the hereafter, hell is more deserving of eating the body of someone who grew up from unclean food. On the other hand, halal food will have a positive influence on the life of a Muslim. Halal food will make it easier for someone to do good deeds. Halal food also acts as a deterrent and antidote to various diseases.and Improving the Condition of the brain and learning motivation of students.Keywords: Influence, Food, Halal, Haram.
