Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of interactive learning based on concept toward activity and physic concept understanding at student of SMPN 19 Mataram in academic year 2016/2017. The type of this research is experimental queasy research. The population in this research are all seventh grade student as the experimental class who are taken with purposive sampling technique. The data in this research is taken with giving pre-test and post-test to student in sample class. Data collection technique is using observation sheet and test. The result of research shows that student learning activity in experimental class is gotten the average score 80% with active category in learning process, student learning activity in control class in gotten 75% average score with active enough category in learning process. The average score of concept understanding in experimental class is 88 and control class is 75. The result hypothesis test with t-test on 5% significant level shows that t-count > t-table = (5,28 > 1,67), this means that Ha is accepted, so this can be concluded that interactive learning process based on the concept has influence toward activity and student concept understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop CERIA LKM-based physics teaching materials to improve critical thinking skills and creative student physics teacher candidate. This research is a development research that fulfill 3 (three) criteria, namely validity (valid), practicality (practical), and effectiveness (effective). Assessment of valuator on the validation stage of basic physics teaching materials based on MFI Ceria developed is 3.37 (good category) with reliability percentage 97.76% (categorized reliable). The results of this validation indicate that the basic physics materials based on Ceria MFIs developed are feasible to be used in the implementation stage. The implementation phase of teaching materials has involved physics education program students, where the results of the implementation of teaching materials developed categorized 'very good'. The next implementation is the evaluation of students' critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The development of learning media is very important to support teaching and learning in the classroom because abstract concepts in physics are difficult to understand. This study aims to Develop Animation Media using Macromedia Flash Application On Static Electric Material. This research uses the development of ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collected by Questionnaire. Questionnaire is used to measure program indicators relating to the content of learning media, program display, and program technical quality. Questionnaire uses a four-point response from Likert scale, where the response alternative is excellent (4 points), good (3 point), less good (2 point) and bad (1 point)

Abstract

This study aims to improve student physics education learning outcomes in computational physics courses by using a valid and practical drawing module. In the first stage, students are assigned to read and understand the style material contained in the pictorial module. To ensure they read and understand the material, the next session is a quiz. Quiz done through writing. For students who can not answer are given remedial until they can be sure read the existing teaching materials. In the second stage, students are considered to have sufficient stock in understanding the reading material, the students at this stage are no longer assigned to read and understand the material but to practice the material, such as calculating the style. The result of the practice of the students in the first stage, reading and understanding the material contained in the pictorial module, as many as 82.35% or 14 students passed the practice without having to remedial, while the rest as much as 17.65% or 3 new people declared passed after remidial. In the second stage, students are assigned to practice style materials on the pictorial module, 100% complete achievement.

Abstract

This research aim to increase students’ critical thinking skill by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This research is class room action research which use the quantitative approach. Subject of the research is VIII grade students’ and object of the research is students’ critical thinking skill in SMPN 5 Narmada. The instrument of the research is the critical thingking skill test. The data collection technique in this research is test and observation sheet, the test is used to measure the critical thingking skill whether the observation sheet is used to measure students’ and teacher activity. The result of research shows that the application of Contxtual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach can increase students’ critical thinking skill. This can be seen from the data analysis result where the I cyrcle reach 49,91 and the II cyrcle reach 80,00 which involve in critical category.
