This research aims at revealing the effect of self-regulated learning and adversity quotient towards mathematical reasoning abilities. This type of research is a survey method. The population in this study were students of the mathematics education study program at Indraprasta University PGRI Jakarta who programmed real analysis courses in the sixth semester and the research sample was 25 students. The instruments in this research were test and non-test instruments. Data instruments test the ability of mathematical reasoning from the daily test scores of students through the description questions as many as 6 questions and Data instruments are a non-test instrument in the form of a self-regulated learning and adversity quotient scale questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with SPSS 16.0. The results showed that (1) self-regulated learning and adversity quotient simultaneously have a significant effect on mathematical reasoning ability by 26.6% while 73.4% is influenced by other variables not examined, (2) self-regulated learning has a significant effect on the ability of mathematical reasoning by 26.5%, (3) adversity quotient does not have a significant effect on mathematical reasoning ability.

This study aims to describe the mistakes made by students in solving mathematical problems in the pythagorean theorem material. This study is a qualitative study with 23 selected students from class VIII A in MTs Al-Mukhtariyah Mande Academic Year 2019/2020. Data collection instruments using description tests. Data analysis in this study was taken in the form of pictures and paragraphs to draw conclusions. After conducting research and reducing data, it is obtained that the most common mistakes made by students are lack of understanding the concept of the Pythagorean theorem, lack of understanding of the language of questions, in working on questions less thoroughly, and finally students lack understanding of problems when related to daily life. Good mastery of the concept of material is able to bring students in producing a good solution as well. Understanding the concepts and understanding of principles must be mastered by students to facilitate working on the problems presented.

This study aims to determine the extent to which mathematical disposition affect the problem solving abilities. The method used is quantitative descriptive with correlation technique. The population in this study were all 8th grade Junior High School students in Cilacap district with a sample of 31 students who were selected purposively at one Junior High School. Data obtained by testing the problem solving tes instrumen as many as 5 questions then analyzed the achievement on each indicator of ability and non tes in the form of a mathematical disposition questionnaire of 25 statements. The research data were processed using SPSS 16.0 software by conducting pearson correlation tes and the results were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study concluded that there was a moderate positive correlation between mathematical disposition of problem solving abilities with a correlation of 0,556 and a coefficient of determination of 0,309 at a significance of 0,05. This shows that the higher the mathematical disposition, the higher the problem solving ability of students with an effect of 30,9%

This study aims to analyze student learning motivation through the application of Geogebra on Geometry Transformation course. The research method used was a descriptive research. The population in this study were all high school students at Kabupaten Bandung Barat with the sample used were 25 XI grade students at SMA Bingkai Cendikia Cililin. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire scale of student learning motivation towards learning mathematics assisted by Geogebra application that contains 20 statements each of 10 positive and negative statements. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that students are motivated by the use of the Geogebra application, this can be seen from the 75% student interest in the indicators of interesting activities in learning, because learning is packaged attractively through the presentation on the Geogebra application. So that almost all students are aroused to have ambition and desire to succeed in learning with a percentage of 82%. It also affects the appreciation of students in learning that has a positive impact with a percentage of 72.5%.

Mathematics is a subject that has a very large role for the development of education in the current era. But in fact, it is still considered a difficult lesson to learn and not interesting because there are too many formulas to memorize. Where the reason for solving students' difficulties in completing the SPLDV material in junior high school is because it is easy to find in students' daily lives. The number of 20 students of class IX SMPN Satu Atap Karya Utama is the subject of the research. The research method uses descriptive qualitative, with instruments in it, namely test questions with specified indicators. The data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. After being studied, it was found that several students had problems with the SPLDV material story questions. Errors in student answers vary from the lack of students learning concepts from SPLDV, students are still confused in determining the right method to solve problems related to SPLDV, the next obstacle is the difficulty of students changing story questions into the process of mathematical modeling due to their lack of accuracy in reading questions related to the material. SPLDV.

This study aims to determine the difficulty analysis of social arithmetic material for junior high school students. During the Covid-19 pandemic, researchers wanted to know and analyze students' difficulties in solving problems in social arithmetic material. The data collection technique in this study, using the WhatsApp Group, the researcher gave 6 description test questions through the WhatsApp Group in the form of a PDF file, then the students collected the results of the answers to the WhatsApp Group or via personal messages. Furthermore, students' answers were analyzed to determine the extent of the difficulties that occurred in students according to predetermined indicators. The data analysis technique was carried out by counting the number of student errors in solving each item, then the errors were analyzed for difficulties. Research subjects in junior high school students amounted to 20 students. The results of the analysis obtained by the researcher, there are still many students who have difficulty working on the questions, it can be seen in the indicators of understanding, determining profits and the percentage of students' answer taxes is 30%. Some students also do not understand the meaning of the questions asked. From the answers that have been done, there are also many students who answer freely and have nothing to do with the material that has been conveyed.

This study aims to analyze the difficulties of students in working on questions about opportunities in class IX Middle School students in one school in Nagreg. The research method used is a qualitative description method. The study was conducted with a sample of 27 students. The test questions given are in the form of 6 descriptive test questions that have a cognitive level based on Bloom's Taxonomy that has been validated both in content and empirical. Data processing techniques namely through data tabulation, then calculating of percentages and comparing the results of calculations with criteria. The results of the study state that students find it difficult to determine the empirical opportunity of an experiment and determine the sample space of an experiment at a high cognitive level (C6). Difficulties arise because students are unfamiliar with the concept, students do not understand the material, have not been able to conceptualize and analyze correctly, also weak mastery and understanding of existing concepts. So this indicates that there are still many students who have difficulty in solving the problem opportunity.

This study aims to describe students’ problem solving abilities in the function material. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were 15 students of class X students of Muhammadiyah 1 Cimahi High School. The method used to collect data is by using written worksheets with mathematical problem solving abilities at the function table. The results showed that the ability to solve mathematical problem solving in class X high school Muhammaiyah was already high, as seen from the presentation stating that students were able to identify known elements, implement strategies and develop mathematical models. Overall students mathematical problem solving abilities, especially in material function are in high qualifications.

This study aims to analyze the epistemological obstacle experienced by junior high school students when understanding concepts and solving problems regarding comparison material. The focus of this research is on the epistemological obstacle. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative and tested on students of class VIII - C at SMP Pasundan 3 Cimahi, totaling 34 students, the research instrument is a test instrument, namely 7 items regarding comparison material. Data processing in this study uses Microsoft Excel. The result of this research is the occurrence of an epistemological obstacle in junior high school students, namely when understanding the concept and solving a problems where there are limitations to the students in certain contexts regarding comparison material.

This research is based on the ability of mathematical understanding (KPM) of students in class X IPS 3 SMAN 6 Cimahi is still low. From the results of the evaluation of the KPM indicator test on the Three Variable Linear Equation System (SPLTV) material, only 13 students achieved the minimum completeness criteria of 36 students. The research carried out is in the form of classroom action research to improve the learning process in order to improve student learning outcomes in SPLTV material through discovery learning models. This research has been carried out in class X IPS 3 SMAN 6 Cimahi, totaling 36 students. The research instruments were lesson plans and worksheets, and the data collection instruments used were observation sheets and KPM evaluation tools. The observation sheet will be analyzed descriptive qualitatively, and the KPM data will be analyzed quantitatively. Based on the results of the evaluation that has been carried out by the authors, it is obtained: in cycle 1 the student KPM level is 42.78%, in cycle 2 it is 60.55%, and in cycle 3 it is 81.66%. So it can be concluded that learning with the discovery learning model can improve students' KPM.
