Abstract

This research is motivated learning outcomes Indonesian subjects in class X MIA 3 still unsatisfactory. One cause less interesting subjects, because it has not developed methods. This type of research is conducted action research (PTK). The subjects were students of class X MIA 3 the first semester of school year 2016-2017 SMA Negeri 1 Subdistrict Harau early July to December period totaling 38 students. This classroom action research using a model developed by Kemmis and Mc. Teggart, consisting of two cycles each cycle consisting of planning (Plan), action (action), observations (observation), and contemplation (reflection). Implementation of each cycle consisting of 2 meetings with the details of two meetings to implement the learning process of one session (2 x 45 minutes) for daily tests. Further elaborated on the operational measures implemented during the three meetings in each cycle that includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of this study concluded that the study conducted by researchers at two cycles, it can be seen that the expository approach and inquiry by using group discussions can increase student interest in learning the Indonesian language as an interest to ask the first cycle ride in cycle II. Where that is where we look at the percentage of the first meeting were asking questions that only 16.21% 2.63% recorded speech and the following study by 13.15%. And after it was tested again at a meeting II results obtained can be increased from the previous one.  Keywords: role, methods, discussion, and students

Abstract

Learning by using the method of playing toto the role very well implemented to improve student learning outcomes, both in terms of creativity, cooperation within the group, problem solving and interaction in social life. By using this method, students were beginning tended to be active in learning. Moreover, by using the method of playing this role, the teacher will be awarded to students who obtain the highest value. Increased student learning outcomes can be seen from toto the average obtained in the first cycle ie 6.7 and increased in the second cycle which is 8.2. This is evidence of the successful implementation of the research toto that has been done in SDN 14 Sungai Sirah the District Sutera. Key words: role playing method, IPS

Abstract

Based on the daily tests of pure mathematics odd semester students of class X SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang is known that the students' mathematics learning is still low. Based on observations, the learning process is still centered on the teacher. The level of students' understanding of the material being taught is still lacking. Students participate less actively in the learning process, not take the initiative to learn about their own material to be covered. One effort that strategy is expected to increase the activity of students is to apply mathematics learning strategy Small-Group Work using students' worksheets. The problems of this study is whether the small group strategy implementation work using student worksheets can increase the activity of students and student learning outcomes. This type of research is experimental research, the design of Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang registered in the Academic Year 2015/2016. Samples were taken at random, and was elected class X TKJ 1 as an experimental class, and a class X TKJ 2 as the control class. Collecting data in research using achievement test in the form of essay test as many as eight items and observation sheet to see student activity. The conclusion of this study is the student activity in the learning of mathematics Small-Group Work tends to increase with the use of worksheets in the learning process at every meeting and obtained  and  then  which means that  rejected. That is the result of students 'mathematics learning by using mathematical learning strategies Small-Group Work using student worksheets better than not using mathematics learning strategy Small-Group Work using students' worksheets. Kata Kunci: Strategi Small-Group Work, lembar kerja siswa, pembelajaran matematika, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes are caused by various factors, including the majority of students are less focused and less active during pembelajaan process, which makes difficult students to master the material so that students are lazy for homework given. One effort that can be done is to give teachers some Brain Gym movements (brain exercise) before the learning begins in order to focus more students during the learning process. The hypothesis put forward is the results of students 'mathematics learning that uses the Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Beginning with the Brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning is better than the results of students' mathematics learning without the use of Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT ) Beginning with brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning in class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh.Penelitian done in class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh. The results of study were taken in this study is the result of learning mathematics in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The instrument used was a test result of learning and observation sheet.Analysis of the final test result data by using t-test at 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) and 37 degrees of freedom is obtained t_hitung = 2,73> 1,68 = t _ ((0.95; 37)). which means H_0ditolak and H_1 received thus results of mathematics learning by applying Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Beginning with the Brain Gym (brain exercise) is better than the result of learning mathematics students who do not apply Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together ( NHT) Beginning with brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning in Class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh. Keywords: Numbered HeadsTogether, Brain Gym

Abstract

Ada banyak masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru dan murid dalam memahami teks recount, salah satunya adalah keterbatasan dari kosakata dan pengetahuan alawal terkait dengan teks. Oleh karena itu peneliti menyarankan pengguna penggunaan strategi probable passage strategy sebagai solusi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain yang disebut non-equivalent control group pada SMA N 2 Payakumbuh. Instrument yang digunakan adalah reading comprehension test. Tes dilakukan sebanyak dua kali; pre-test dan posttest.Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan rumus t-test. Ditemukan bahwa t-hitung sebesar 5.64 sedangkan t-tabel sebesar 1,9994, yang berarti t-hitung > t-tabel pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil hitungan ini, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan strategi probable passage dalam pembelajaran memberikan dampak yang lebih baik terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam memahami bacaan pada teks recount. Kata kunci : Probable Passage, Pemahaman membaca, teks recount

Abstract

Biology is one subjects taught at school which required student to have a good understanding on abstract concepts. Based on Local-Based Curriculum, a teacher should be able to develop a learning set which was suitable with the condition of the school. Therefore, the researcher was interested in developing an inquiry-based learning set in Biology on Life Organization topics which was valid, practical and effective.This was a developmental research which used 4D (four D) models that consisted of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. In this research, the disseminating phase was not done. The data gotten in this research was validated by three scientists and two practitioners. Furthermore, the data was tried out to the first year student in group 6 (class VII6) at SMP Negeri 2 Kota Solok.The result of the research showed that the inquiry-based learning set which had been develop which consisted of Lesson Plan, learning materials, Worksheet and Evaluation instruments was valid. Based of the application of the learning set in teaching and learning process, and student and teachers responses on it, the learning set developed was very practical. The learning set was also effective. In addition, student learning achievement and their psychomotor score were in a good category. Key word: development, learning equipment, inquiry

Abstract

This research purposed on knowing the set of problems on curriculum 2013 implementation in biology learning process in VIIth grade junior high school in Rambah Hilir subdistrict. This research has been done from July until December 2015. The method that has been use is descriptive qualitative with questionnaire. Populations and samples of this research are 6 teachers from 11 schools. The result of this research gained from questionnaire data analysis with 87,97% average percentage with very good criteria. The set of problems the VIIth grade junior high school teachers in Rambah Hilir subdistrict deal with on curriculum 2013 implementation in biology learning process are availability of books and supporting infrastructure that not quite enough, very short in time coaching, limited media utilizing and the very hard appraisal that also needs a lot of time. Key Word: descriptive qualitative, curriculum 2013, The set of problems

Abstract

PE lesson plan using audio-visual media are arranged in the form of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) which is adapted to the curriculum. This lesson plan is based on the stages of the use of audio-visual media in teaching PE consists of three stages, namely: a) the preparation phase, b) the stage of implementation / presentation and c) follow-up phase. PE learning implementation using audio-visual media is done in accordance with the learning steps that have been designed. PE learning implementation using audio-visual media can be done in several stages, namely the preparatory phase which includes: studying, preparing and ensuring the tool / media to function properly; express purpose of learning; schemata raise learners; then conditioning the learners to observe film / video gymnastics physical fitness. The results showed an increase in the study of students in learning PE by using audio-visual media in the fourth grade SDN 44 Lubuk Anau. In the first cycle gained 6.5% the percentage of completeness. The percentage of completeness in the second cycle increased to 8.5%. Keywords: Media Audio Visual, Learning Outcomes, PE

Abstract

This study by many divorce of parents in Nagari Kumanis Sijunjung. The failure of the family in performing social roles and functions especially in the needs of children will have a negative impact on the growth of the physical and mental and social development of children, where the children after the divorce of his parents changing very fatal. The purpose of this study to determine the impact of parental divorfce on children's behavior in Nagari Kumanis Sijunjung. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Informants with divorced families consisting of a wife, children from divorced families and communities in Nagari Kumanis Sijunjung that siambil by purposive sampling .. Furthermore, the data gathered through observation, interviews and documentation. The observations made are non-participant observation, while the interview was used open interviews. To test the validity of data used triangulation. The data were analyzed with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or data verification. Results of this research is the divorce of parents affects the behavior of children is the psychological condition of troubled children, children become traumatized and anxious because of the separation of their parents. Judging from the behavior of children being naughty. Judging from the association of children, child is difficult to adapt to the environment, children can not determine his attitude towards the environment, children can not be controlled, so that most of them fall promiscuity because they can not tell which is good and which is bad. Judging from the economic children, children whose parents divorced in the fulfillment of their needs be lacking. Dilhat of children's education, the child at the center of his parents' divorce, feel comfortable in the school and will affect the learning achievement of children. Keywords: Divorce and Child Behavior

Abstract

This study aimed to describe. First, news writing skills of students before the applied methodcooperative type think talk write. Second, news writing skills of students after the methodcooperative type think talk write.Third, the difference between news writing skills students before and after the applied method cooperative type think talk write. This research is quantitative experimental method. The data in this study is the result of news writing skills score of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman. The sample in this study - the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pariaman were 30. The results of this study are:first,  news writing skills of students before the applied methodcooperative type think talk write with an average value of 62.66 with sufficient qualifications. Second, news writing skills of students after the applied methodcooperative type think talk write with an average value of 80.76 with good qualifications. Third, there is a difference between news writing skills of students before and after the applied methodcooperativetypethink talk write at the 0.05 significance level with n - 2 degrees of freedom. Thus,in this study rejected H_0 , H_1 acceptable because the test results prove that Tcount > Ttabel is greater than 8,4> 2,04 at P 0.05. Keywords: Influence, Method Cooperative Type Think Talk Write, News.
