Abstract

The rapid development of social media as a digital space has provided broader opportunities for individuals to express opinions and disseminate information publicly. Freedom of expression in the digital sphere is a right protected by law; however, its exercise must be accompanied by compliance with legal obligations and regulatory limitations. This study aims to analyze the role of law in protecting the right to freedom of expression in digital spaces and in maintaining a balance between the rights and obligations of social media users. This research employs a normative juridical method using statutory and conceptual approaches. Data were collected through library research by examining laws and regulations, legal doctrines, and relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that law functions as an instrument of social control that regulates the boundaries of freedom of expression while providing legal certainty for social media users. Nevertheless, challenges remain in the implementation of legal protection, including ambiguity in legal interpretation and the rapid advancement of digital technology that outpaces regulatory development. Therefore, strengthening the role of law through regulatory refinement and proportional law enforcement is essential to ensure an orderly and responsible digital space.

Abstract

Psikologi kepribadian sebagai disiplin ilmu terus berkembang untuk memahami kompleksitas manusia, namun kajian yang mengintegrasikan perspektif ilmiah Barat dengan spiritualitas Timur, khususnya psikologi Islam, masih relatif terbatas. Buku Psikologi Kepribadian: Menyelami Misteri Kepribadian Manusia karya Lynn Wilcox menghadirkan pendekatan integratif tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan anotasi deskriptif yang sistematis dan objektif terhadap buku tersebut guna memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai struktur, tema, dan pendekatan yang digunakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka deskriptif dengan membaca, mengidentifikasi, dan merangkum isi buku secara menyeluruh, tanpa memberikan penilaian kritis. Hasil anotasi menunjukkan bahwa buku ini secara sistematis membahas konsep dasar kepribadian, teori-teori psikologi Barat (psikoanalisis, behaviorisme, humanistik, kognitif), serta memperkenalkan perspektif spiritual dari psikologi Islam dan sufisme. Buku ini menawarkan pendekatan holistik dengan memadukan kerangka empiris Barat dan kedalaman makna spiritual Timur. Kesimpulan dari anotasi ini adalah bahwa buku tersebut merupakan referensi yang berharga untuk kajian psikologi kepribadian yang inklusif, relevan bagi pengembangan psikologi agama, bimbingan konseling, dan pendidikan karakter, serta membuka ruang dialog yang konstruktif antara psikologi kontemporer dan khazanah spiritual.

Abstract

The social media platform that is currently popular among teenagers is TikTok.This application allows users to upload short videos with various themes including education. Students' motivation to learn can increase through the use of video learning media, especially on the TikTok platform which is popular and attractive to today's digital generation. This study aims to find out the process of developing TikTok-based learning media using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on buffer solution materials to determine the feasibility of media developed based on material experts, media experts, practitioners as well as student responses and the impact on student motivation. The development of TikTok application-based learning media uses the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research instruments used are in the form of interview guidesheets, questionnaires, documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study show that the use of learning media has a positive impact on students' learning motivation with a questionnaire score of 88% (very good category). From the feasibility aspect, the media was declared very valid based on the assessment of material experts and media experts with a percentage of 100%, as well as the validation of instructional design with an average score of 4.00. The results of the practicality test showed a student response of 89.0% (excellent category), which confirms that this learning media is practical, easily accessible, and in accordance with the characteristics of high school students as the digital generation. Based on the development process and research results, it is concluded that the development of TikTok application-based learning media using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the buffer solution material is feasible to be used theoretically and practically as one of the teaching materials on the buffer line and has the potential to increase student learning motivation based on expert opinions and teacher assessments.

Abstract

Vidio adalah media pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan gabungan unsur audio dan visual untuk menyampaikan informasi.Vidio visual tidak hanya sekedar gambar bergerak,tetapi juga dilengkapi dengan suara,musik atau narasi yang mendukung pemahaman materi. Pada materi Kimia Hijau siswa dimintak mampu memahami dan menerapkan prinsip kimia hijau dalam kehidupan nyata dari metode pembelajaran creative problem solving dari permasalahan kecil hingga besar memiliki solusi dalam mengatasinya. Penelitian in bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran vidio visual yang efektif pada materi kimia hijau untuk siswa serta.Proses pengembangan penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE.Tahap pengembangan ini meliputi analisis, desain produk ,pengembangan ,Implementasi dan Evaluasi.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar pedoman wawancara dan angket.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif komentar dan saran ,analisis data kuantitatif (rata-rata jawaban dan persentase). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dari ahli media dan ahli materi masing-masing rerata skor 4,53 dan 4,81 dalam kategori sangat layak.Kemudian diperoleh penilaian penilaian praktis guru kimia dengan rerata skor sebesar 4,66 sangat layak,serta mendapat respon yang sangat baik dari peserta didik dengan presentase 89,5%.

Abstract

Miscommunication about the meaning of words in some situation is a common problen that we faced in a daily life by both speakers and hearers. It was interesting how we can find out about language functions in human interaction, taking into the context that affects communication as well. Then, this research aims to identify the types of speech acts in the film of Atonement (2007). This study employed a qualitative descriptive research because the analysis focused on interpreting utterances based on their character’s meaning and function in context. Utilizing George Yule’s theory about speech act, the findings reveal four of the five types of speech acts which are representatives, directives, expressives, and commissives. The dominant category of this finding reached 88 out of a total of 202 types of speech (43%). The speech acts in the film serve various purposes, incluiding reporting information, stating the truth, expressing emotion, making request, refusing unwanted propotions, etc. This study presents numerous meaning and function of utterances that language serves by the characters in the film Atonement (2007).

Abstract

Graph coloring is a technique for assigning colors to vertices so that no two adjacent vertices share the same color. This study implements region coloring on the map of North Sulawesi and Gorontalo (Sulut-Go) using the Welch-Powell algorithm, a method based on the highest vertex degree. The research employs a quantitative-descriptive approach with an algorithmic experimental method. Administrative region data and regional boundary connections in the Sulut-Go provinces are converted into graph form, with regencies/cities as vertices and connecting roads as edges. The procedures include data collection, graph construction, degree calculation, coloring using the Welch-Powell algorithm, and chromatic number determination. The results show that the Sulut-Go map consists of 18 regencies/cities represented as vertices. After implementing the Welch-Powell algorithm, the graph coloring produced a chromatic number of χ(G) = 3, meaning all regions can be colored using only three different colors. The coloring was applied with red, yellow, and green, ensuring that no adjacent regions share the same color. Vertex V15 (Minahasa) has the highest degree, with five connections. This study successfully demonstrates that the Welch-Powell algorithm effectively solves the region-coloring problem on the Sulut-Go map. In conclusion, graph coloring using the Welch-Powell algorithm can be effectively applied to color regional maps, facilitating visual distinction between adjacent areas. The chromatic number χ(G) = 3 indicates the minimum number of colors needed for the Sulut-Go map. This research contributes to the application of graph theory in cartography. Further research is recommended for larger-scale applications such as islands or countries, as well as for edge coloring and social network analysis.
