Abstract

Salah satu kecakapan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam kurikulum 2013 yaitu kecakapan kreativitas. Kreativitas dapat terwujud apabila siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang tinggi. Pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dapat dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu dengan menerapkan model Project Based Learning berbasis Etnosains.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model PjBL berbasis Etnosains dan kaitannya dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi koloid.Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan campuran (mix method) dengan triangulasi konkuren. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling yaitu kelas XI IPA 2. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model PjBL berbasis Etnosains oleh guru maupun siswa dan tes essai kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Untuk melihat kaitan penerapan model PjBL berbasis Etnosains dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dilakukan uji korelasi product moment pearson.Penerapan atau keterlaksanaan model PjBL berbasis Etnosains oleh siswa diperoleh sebesar 64,09% dengan kategori baik dan persentase kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sebesar 63,8%. Korelasi keterlaksanaan model PjBL berbasis Etnosains dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa diperoleh rxy= 0,79 dengan tingkat korelasi kuat. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi keterlaksanaan model PjBL berbasis Etnosains dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yaitu 62,41% dengan tingkat korelasi kuat, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi atau kaitan antara penerapan model Project Based Learning berbasis etnosains pada materi koloid dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Kebutuhan karakteristik generasi zaman now terhadap pembelajaran daring menghadirkan style baru penyajian konten perkuliahan dengan microlearning. Implementasi microlearning membutuhkan model pembelajaran yang tepat berorientasi self-directed learning case study. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut maka dibutuhkan implementasi best practice dan pengaruhnya (efektivitas) dalam perkuliahan. Desain penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 25 mahasiswa mata kuliah metodologi Penelitian Pendidikan yang terdaftar pada Prodi Pendidikan Kimia Tahun Ajaran 2021-2022. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan non tes, serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dan diolah menjadi data interval menggunakan skala Likert. Untuk teknik analisis data yaitu menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, serta T-Test. Tahapan pada penelitian ini meliputi pra eksperimen, eksperimen, dan pasca eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap pra eksperimen, peneliti mempersiapkan set perangkat perkuliahan dengan style microlearning berbasis case study. Hasil eksperimen diketahui best practice penerapan microlearning berbasis case study dengan alur: 1) introduction microlearning, concepts, tools, and student’s group; 2) teaching by traditional learning; 3) teaching by microlearning; 4) students evaluations, examination, and feedback; dan 5) comparison between traditional learning and microlearning. Pasca eksperimen dilakukan evaluasi capaian(efektivitas) implementasi micro learning berbasis case study, dengan perolehan hasil uji t sebesar 7,769 membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh implementasi microlearning berbasis case study terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Adapun implementasi microlearning berbasis case study dapat dilaksanakan secara blended learning untuk meminimalisir hambatan yang dihadapi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Kemampuan critical thingking penting diperhatikan, agar dapat menyelesaikan masalah dalam pembelajaran. Saat ini tingkat critical thinking siswa masih termasuk rendah. Salah satu penyebabnya masih kurangnya bahan ajar yang membantu kemampuan tersebut. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam penelitian ini ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan model Team Assisted Individualization berbantuan E-LKPD Interaktif serta materi yang digunakan asam basa. Tujuan penelitian ini melihat pengaruh bahan ajar E-LKPD interaktif dengan model TAI. Quasi eksperimen dipakai dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan dua kelas yang dibandingkan. Kelas kontrol ataupun kelas eskperimen akan diberi pretest sebelum dilakukan proses pembelajaran dan posttest selesai dilakukan pembelajaran. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes esai dan lembar observasi. Analisis data menggunakan pretest dan posttest dengan dilakukan uji-t. Terbukti bahwa adanya pengaruh setelah diterapkan model Team assisted individualization berbantuan E-LKPD interaktif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dari analisis data menunjukkan peningkatan hasil rata-rata pretest dan posttest yaitu 47,49% - 65,51% di kelas kontrol dengan selisih kenaikan 18,02%, sedangkan di kelas eksperimen mendapatkan hasil 50,61% - 77,10%. Jika ditinjau dari hasil per aspek indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kelas kontrol - eksperimen berturut-turut yaitu 62,38% - 71,20%.

Abstract

The current government policy is that scholars do not look for work anymore, but create jobs. Furthermore, the Minister of Education and Culture launched an independent campus policy that carried four policies. The second policy is the right of students to study outside the study program, for example to become entrepreneurs. From the government's policy and the Minister of Education and Culture, entrepreneurship-based basic chemistry teaching materials are needed. The purpose of this research is to develop entrepreneurship-based basic chemistry teaching materials that are feasible theoretically and practically. This teaching material is expected to provide opportunities for students to become entrepreneurs. The development model used is the 4-D model (Four D) developed by Thiagarajan consisting of 4 main stages, namely: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Based on the analysis of student needs, the orientation of the dominant college student is to become an ASN. They are interested in entrepreneurship in the chemical field as a side job. However, they hope that the lecturers in teaching link the course material with the field of business. The teaching materials "Basic Chemistry based on Entrepreneurship" that have been developed obtained a score of 94.8% and 86.6% from material experts and entrepreneurship experts (theoretically). The responses of 2 basic chemistry lecturers were 90.6% and 88%, while the student responses were 93.3% (practically). From the validation data of material experts and entrepreneurship experts, it can be concluded that the teaching materials developed are theoretically feasible. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how the ethnoscience-based PBL model affects students' creative thinking skills on salt hydrolysis material ataAl-Falah iIslamic HighhsSchool iin jJambi.aResearchhdesign used in this study is Quasi Experiment with Non Equivalent Control Group Design. There were two sample classes in this study: class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class using an ethnoscience-based PBL model and class XI IPA 3 as a control class using a PBL model. This study's instrument included an essay test, an observation sheet for student activities on model application, and an observation sheet for creative thinking skills. The t-test was used to test hypotheses about differences in students' creative thinking abilities. The data analysis revealed that the ethnoscience-based PBL model had an impact on students' creative thinkingabilities, as evidenced by an increase in the average results of the pretest and posttest, namely 52.27% - 71.59% with a difference of 19.29% in the experimental class. control 50.76% - 63.64% with a 12.88% difference Furthermore, theree is assignificantddifferencebbetween the experimental and control groups. According to the results of the t test with a significance level of = 5%, tcount = 1.76797 > ttable = 1.6819, indicating that the ethnoscience-based PBL model has an effect on sstudents' creativetthinking abilities. As a result, it is possibleeto concludeetthat theeethnoscience-based PBL model influences students' creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

Salah satu jenis media pembelajaran yang dapat dibuat oleh guru adalah mediaanimasi dalam bahan ajar yang nantinya bisa ditampilkan di e-learning pada saatproses belajar mengajar atau bisa dimasukkan kedalam PowerPoint. Pelatihan inibertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam membuat mediapembelajaran yang berbasis blended learning, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 11 Kota Jambi dengan peserta guru-guru yang ada di sekolah tersebut. Aplikasiyang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah Adobe Animate. Aplikasi tersebutmempunyai beberapa keunggulan yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat bahantayang pembelajaran seperti video animasi, gambar dan suara. Tahapanpelaksanaan kegiatan berjalan sesuai dengan yang telah direncanakan. Hasil darikegiatan pengabdian ini guru memiliki kemampuan dalam membuat animasiyang nanti kemampuan atau skill ini dapat digunakan untuk pelaksanaan blendedlearning. Pelaksanaan workshop ini dilaksanakan 5 kali pertemuan (5 minggu)dimana setiap pertemuan selama 3 jam. Luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan iniadalah meningkatnya kompetensi guru dalam pembuatan animasi sebagai bahanajar yang menarik. Partisipasi aktif saat pelatihan dapat menjadi dasar adanyakerjasama yang berkelanjutan antara Universitas Jambi dengan SMA N 11 KotaJambi.

Abstract

Reaction rate material is one of the materials from the Chemistry eye in high school which studies the concept of reaction rate, the factors that affect the reaction rate and purchase order of the reaction. In learning the goal is to say that mastery of concepts by students is through experiments/practicums, the same is the case with acid-base materials and other chemical materials. To realize the demands of the learning objectives of the reaction rate, practicum is needed. The purpose of community service is due to the limited tools and materials in the laboratory, so that the chemical practicum, especially the reaction rate, is not carried out. The ability of teachers in the field of ICT is very low, so teachers cannot operate and create virtual laboratories.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to determine student responses to project-based learning in chemistry courses. Methodology: This research used mixed methods with a sequential explanatory design. The samples involved in this research were 90 students from the chemistry study program. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The instrument used to collect quantitative data was a questionnaire sheet distributed to students to measure responses, while the instrument to collect qualitative data was interviews conducted with chemistry students. Data analysis was carried out to process quantitative data based on descriptive statistics, and qualitative data was analyzed based on Miles and Huberman's theory and supported by documentation studies. Main Findings: The results obtained from this research are that chemistry students' responses to project-based learning are classified as good. The importance of the Project Based Learning Model (PjBL) lies in its ability to inspire active involvement in solving real problems, thus facilitating the development of critical and analytical thinking skills. Novelty/Originality of this study: The latest research is that the research sample involved was from the chemistry education study program to measure the response to project-based learning. This research is limited by only measuring responses, so researchers do not know the truth of the project-based learning process. So, recommendations that can be given in further research are to directly implement the project-based learning process to strengthen the questionnaire results in this research.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to evaluate teachers' responses to two learning models, namely problem-based learning and scaffolding, in the context of science subjects at Junior High School Negeri Satu Atap Pematang Jering. Methodology: The methodology used was descriptive quantitative research with a population of teachers in the school. The research sample consisted of 16 teachers selected by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Main Findings: The main finding of this study shows that most teachers (75%) in Junior High School Negeri Satu Atap Pematang Jering responded positively to the use of problem-based learning and scaffolding models in science learning. These results indicate that both learning models effectively improve the quality of teaching and students' understanding of science materials. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in its specific focus on analyzing teachers' responses to problem-based learning and scaffolding models. This research contributes to the existing literature in this field by providing a deeper understanding of how these two learning models can be applied in science learning in secondary schools. The results of this study can serve as a guideline for teachers and schools in selecting and implementing effective learning strategies to improve teacher competence and student learning outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

Students' creative thinking abilities are needed in higher education today, especially in biochemistry courses, by applying PBL learning. This research aimed to analyze the relationship between PBL learning and students' creative thinking abilities by applying PBL learning in biochemistry learning. The method used in this study is the mixed method using a sequential explanatory model. The sample used in this study was 52 students. The methods used in collecting data are questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The data collection instruments used in this study were essay sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis used for quantitative data is descriptive statistics and correlation tests. Qualitative data is analyzed using Miles & Huberman. The results of the research, namely from the data that has been obtained through correlation trials, show that there is a relationship between the two variables. In addition, from the interview results, the PBL learning model influences students' creative thinking skills. The data is reinforced by the results of interviews that students feel that their creative thinking skills increase with PBL learning. It was concluded that PBL learning relates to students' creative thinking abilities, especially in biochemistry courses.
