Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the reciprocal teaching learning model on the critical thinking ability of students in class iv science content of Elementary School 32 Cakranegara. This research design is an experimental design used is Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design pattern. This study uses 4 stages of Reciprocal Teaching research, namely, summarizing, questioning, predicting, and clarifying. The research was conducted at Elementary School 32 Cakranegara, Sandubaya District, Cakranegara. Data collection tools use observation and tests. The results showed that the Reciprocal Teaching Method had a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills. Based on the calculation of the hypothesis test using the independent samples t-test formula assisted by the statistical application SPSS 16.0 for windows obtained data that tcount (6.496) > t-table (1.998). That is, Ho is rejected Ha accepted, namely the Reciprocal Teaching method affects students' critical thinking skills in science lesson content.

Abstract

The demand for housing needs in Indonesian society is still quite large and this is positively welcomed by housing developers to compete in providing the best housing for the community. From the data on available housing units above compared to the housing needs (backlog) by the community, there is still a very large gap. For example, the need for houses in West Java in 2021 is 2,638,153 units, while the available housing units in 2021 are only 11,115 units. In fulfilling the provision of residential houses, small and medium scale property developers need capital both for purchasing land and building units. This is where crowdfunding exists to help developers take advantage of opportunities to provide housing by supporting the availability of developer capital. From the investor side, Securities Crowdfunding is also a new alternative as a choice of investment instruments. The increase in the number of people who are aware of investment currently is also accompanied by an increasing number of investment instruments that are growing in society. Through the SCF scheme, investors and parties who need funding will be brought together through a digital-based platform or application. This is where property developers need capital and the desire of investors to look for investment instruments that are safe and with attractive investment profit sharing can be filled with the presence of SCF.Research method using STP and Marketing Mix (NICE and 4 P) strategies.Result This analysis can help the securities crowdfunding companies in property in Indonesia use their marketing strategy.

Abstract

Tanah Surga Merah is one of the novels by Arafat Nur, the winner of the Jakarta Arts Council (Dewan Kesenian Jakarta-DKJ) novel competition in 2016. Previously, Arafat Nur has won a DKJ novel competition in 2010 through Lampuki's controversial novel which has reaped many blasphemies and also praise. Tanah Surga Merah was chosen as the object of research because it raised the issue of power that occurred in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. This research aims to reveal the various forms of power relations contained in the novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur. What kinds of power relations appear in the novel? To reveal the power relations that appear in the novel, it will be used a study of power relations belonging to Michel Foucault. Novel Tanah Surga Merah by Arafat Nur work presents the power relations that happened to the people of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam in 2014. These power relations work through media spread through religion, culture, country, institution, social body and individual body.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease, a person is said to have hypertension if the systolic blood pressure measurement results are ≥140 mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure is ≥90 mmHg. Hypertension that is not properly controlled has the potential to cause complications such as stroke, coronary heart disease, and kidney failure and even death. Treatment of hypertension is carried out by pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods, the efforts made are by doing physical activity. Physical activity is recommended at least 150 minutes/week with moderate intensity. Non-compliance in controlling hypertension can occur due to poor self-efficacy. To find out the relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to physical activity in people with hypertension. Correlational research design with cross sectional approach. The population is 42 people and the sample is 42 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The results of the chi square test obtained a p-value of 0.024 (<0.05). The contingency coefficient value is 0.329 which means it has a weak close relationship. Hypertension patients' self-efficacy and compliance with physical activities during the Covid-19 pandemic at RW 04 Terban GK V Gondokusuman Yogyakarta in 2023 is correlated.It is hoped that further researchers can examine the self-motivation of hypertension patients in controlling their disease.

Abstract

Research on the growth of water jasmine stem cuttings in various planting media aims to study the response of water jasmine stem cuttings to different planting media and obtain the best planting medium for the growth of water jasmine stem cuttings. The experiment uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment groups of planting media and 5 replications, resulting in 20 experimental units. The planting media used as treatments are paddy soil, paddy soil + chicken manure fertilizer, paddy soil + cow manure fertilizer, and paddy soil + burnt rice husk. Growth parameters observed include percentage of growth, plant height, and the number of leaves. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the growth of water jasmine stem cuttings showed significantly different responses when planted in various types of media. The best planting medium to accelerate the growth of water jasmine stem cuttings is paddy soil + cow manure fertilizer, with greater plant height and leaf count compared to the other three treatments.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable. The study was conducted at PT. Pesona Taman Indo. The sample size used consisted of 39 employees, selected using purposive sampling method, representing the entire population of 73 employees. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires. The analytical techniques used were descriptive analysis and Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis. The research results indicate that leadership style has an influence on work motivation, work discipline has an influence on work motivation, leadership style has an influence on employee performance, work discipline does not have an influence on employee performance, and work motivation does not have an influence on employee performance. In the future, it is recommended that for leadership style, when some employees disagree with the leader's good behavior, leaders should strive to exhibit good behavior towards their employees. In terms of work discipline, there are some employees who do not adhere to the dress code, and this should be addressed to ensure uniformity. Regarding work motivation, some employees may become bored with repetitive tasks, so introducing new innovations may help keep employees engaged. Lastly, for employee performance, training may be necessary for those who are unable to complete their tasks effectively.

Abstract

Leadership is a form of relationship between the leader themselves, employees, and the existing situation. Leadership involves the uneven distribution of power between the leader and their members and can guide their members. Leadership can be seen as a way for a leader to coordinate all elements and parts within their community to achieve a desired organizational goal, thereby maximizing employee performance. In general, this research aims to empirically prove the influence of leadership at STMIK (College of Computer Science and Information Management) on the performance of employees by examining the tested moderating variables. The hypothesis in this study is the alternative hypothesis, which states that there is an influence of the Chairman's leadership on the effectiveness of employee performance. The results of this study indicate that the validity and reliability tests were valid and reliable. Leadership of the chairman, based on linear regression analysis, was found to be significant. The chairman's leadership has a positive and significant influence on job performance, and the determination coefficient value indicates the effectiveness of linear regression, showing a significant relationship between the chairman's leadership and job performance. Meanwhile, the variables of motivation and age were found to moderate the relationship between the chairman's leadership and employee job performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the significant effect of competence on employee performance in PDAM Makassar City, test and analyze the significant effect of service quality on employee performance in PDAM Makassar City, and test and analyze competence and service quality simultaneously. a significant effect on employee performance in PDAM Makassar City. This research was conducted at the Makassar City PDAM Office, with a population of 477 people and a sample of 265 people ( Slovin formula). The data analysis used is descriptive to explain the research data, while to analyze quantitative data using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The results found that competence showed a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The competencies shown by employees based on knowledge, skills, experience and mastery attitudes determine the achievement of PDAM Makassar City employees' performance. Service quality has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The quality of service applied by employees is in accordance with the variety of expertise, task identity, task significance, service autonomy and feedback, thereby contributing to the improvement of PDAM Makassar City employee performance. Simultaneously, competence and service quality have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Improving employee performance in quantity, quality, efficiency, effectiveness and loyalty cannot be separated from the competence of employees and the quality of services applied to PDAM Makassar City customers.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the forms of sexual harassment experienced by the main female character, Vanessa Wye, then the data will be searched using reading and recording techniques. After successfully obtained, the collected data will be discussed using descriptive-qualitative methods. So that in the end, this research will produce forms of violence or sexual harassment experienced by Vanessa Wye. Cases of sexual violence and abuse of children and women are very alarming crimes. Every year many victims experience sexual abuse. This phenomenon is also illustrated in the novel My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell. The novel tells the story of a sexual relationship between a 15-year-old student named Vanessa Wye and Jacob Strane who is already her 42-year-old English teacher, presented from the perspective of an adult Vanessa Wye who is 30 years old. The researcher chose the novel because it was the research theme to be discussed. In this study, researchers used Kelly's theory which explains the forms of sexual harassment which are divided into 3 parts, namely Visual, Verbal, and Physical. Using the theory and mimetic approach.

Abstract

Tax has an important role, because it is the main source of state income. In Indonesia, there are various types of taxes, including income tax. The tax intensive, which is in the form of a tax reduction, is expected to increase awareness of paying tax obligations. However, everything has risks including a decrease in income tax on national economic growth. This study aims to analyze the impact of income tax reduction on national economic growth. This research uses descriptive analysis method with qualitative approach. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the impact of income tax reduction on national economic growth highlights the complexity of the interaction between taxes, income distribution, work incentives, and production. Reducing income tax in certain sectors through tax incentives has positive potential for economic growth, but its impact must be considered as a whole to achieve sustainable public welfare. Although administrative incentives improve tax compliance, income tax reduction can promote national economic growth.
