Abstract

Facing many email problems that have the potential to harm others. This abused email is commonly known as spam email, where the email contains advertisements, scams, and even malware. This study uses the K-Nearest Neighbor method and the Support Vector Machine to detect spam and non-spam emails based on content. The best value of the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is determined using Euclidean Distance measurements. Support Vector Machine and K-Nearest Neighbor can classify and detect spam or non-spam emails. K-Nearest Neighbor uses Euclidean Distance calculations with values K = 1, 3, and 5. The evaluation results use a confusion matrix, which shows that the K-Nearest Neighbor method with a value of k=3 achieves an accuracy rate of 92%, a precision level of 91%, a recall of 100%, and an F1-score of 95%. On the other hand, the Support Vector Machine method achieves an accuracy value of 97%, a recall of 100%, and an F1-score of 98%. This makes the Support Vector Machine method superior to the K-Nearest Neighbor method in this study. In addition, the model built can also be used to predict spam and non-spam from the contents of new e-mail content.

Abstract

Madrasah has a strategic role in nation building. Currently the education of madrasa education is still considered "second class". This occurs because of the implementation of the madrasa still faces a number of major issues such as the management problems start and the low quality of madrasah education. This paper is intended to give an overview of the progress madrasah education system in Indonesia, madrasas issues, opportunities and challenges of the madrasa. Madrasah has become part of the national education system. The method used in this study is a literature study by collecting secondary data from various sources of books and journals, and then perform a descriptive analysis of the data presented in detail. Various problems encountered include management madrassa education, the gap between public and private, the quality of madrasah, to the opportunities and challenges for madrasah in Indonesia at this time.

Abstract

Acute coronary syndromes (ACS) are critical medical emergencies that can disrupt the progression of coronary artery disease at any given time. Cardiac troponin I levels are precise and sensitive markers for detecting acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Assessing the incidence of Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events (MACE) in patients experiencing AMI is pivotal for guiding medical interventions. This study investigates the association between cardiac troponin I levels and the frequency of MACE in individuals diagnosed with AMI. Employing an observational analytic approach with a cross-sectional design, the research focuses on patients diagnosed with AMI, including both ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), admitted to Gotong Royong Hospital in Surabaya from January to December 2023. The relationship between troponin I level and MACE was examined through bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test within SPSS 23.0 software. Among the 76 participants, the majority were aged over 65 years (39.5%), with 51 males (67.1%), and 59 patients were diagnosed with NSTEMI (77.6%). MACE occurred in 39 individuals (51.4%) with AMI, notably including heart failure in 69.2% of cases. Regarding cardiac troponin I (cTnI) values, 17 patients had STEMI, while 59 were diagnosed with NSTEMI. Within the AMI group, 6.6% were classified in Group 1, 26.3% in Group 2, and 67.1% in Group 3. Remarkably, a significantly higher proportion of patients with MACE exhibited markedly elevated cTnI levels in Group 3 (78.3%). In summary, the study highlights a significant association between cardiac troponin I levels and the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients with acute myocardial infarction at Gotong Royong Hospital in Surabaya.

Abstract

The Thousand Sunny ship in the anime "One Piece" is not just a means of transportation but also a rich cultural symbol. In this study, we explore the elements of underwater architecture on this ship to reflect the cultural richness of the anime. We found that the underwater architecture on the Thousand Sunny is not only part of the visual design but also represents the history, cultural values, and unique aesthetics in the world of "One Piece." This research fills a gap in understanding how these elements are represented and how they function as a cultural mirror in this anime. Using a multidisciplinary approach, we connect the concept of cultural representation in popular media, architectural aesthetics, and the interaction between art and cultural identity to explain the relevance of underwater architecture elements in the "One Piece" narrative to popular culture. The results of this research are expected to provide new insights into the role of architecture in popular culture and reveal the richness of cultural imagery in the underwater architecture elements on the Thousand Sunny.

Abstract

Investment regulations in Indonesia play a crucial role in enhancing business opportunities and investments. However, there exists an issue of overlapping regulations and implementation permits in the field that need to be addressed for greater effectiveness. Besides regulations, bureaucratic management also requires attention to improve investments due to its current lack of efficiency. The enhancement of investment regulations, capital injection, and improved implementation efficiency will significantly contribute to increased investments and business prospects in Indonesia. The primary issue in managing fisheries resources in Indonesia involves economic policies promoting the exploitation of fisheries resources and a lack of a robust management and law enforcement system. Central and regional government systems, work programs, and organizations need adjustments to support sustainable development in the fisheries sector. Through normative juridical research, primary legal data, theories, concepts, legal principles, and relevant legislation are studied. Policy reforms, regulatory system strengthening, import simplification, and infrastructure investments can improve the business environment. Consultations and discussions among the government, industry, and other stakeholders can align necessary regulations and ease business processes. The formation of regulations through the harmonization of investment-related rules in fisheries should adhere to investment law principles to create an appealing business environment for investors. The Indonesian government should also establish regulations supporting investments in the fisheries sector to achieve resource sustainability and economic growth.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect leadership style, motivation and work discipline towards performance employee. Method study this use descriptive analysis with a correlation approach. T test results It is obtained that the calculated t value of the motivation variable (X2) has mark p-value as big as 0,000 <0.05 It means significant, while the t count is 7.287 > from the t table 1.987, meaning it is significant. Matter the means 7,287 (X2) motivation in a way Partial influential to Performance Employee (Y). The size influence motivation to Performance employee is as big as 37.6%. 3) There is influence discipline to Employee performance. The results of the t test showed that the t value was calculated variable motivation (X3) own mark p-value as big as 0,000<0.05 means significant, while the t count is 4.794 > from the t table 1,987 It means significant. Matter the means 4,794 (X3) discipline in a way Partial influential to Performance Employee (Y). The size influence discipline to Performance employee is as big as 20.7%. 4) There is influence which significant between Style Leadership (X 1), Motivation (X2) and discipline (X3) to Performance Employees (Y) is 0.739, this shows that these four variables have an influence the strong one is at the limit interpretation intermediate R value 0.60 – 0.799.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Sekolah Murid Merdeka, Indonesia's first blended learning school, focusing on Total Quality Management (TQM). This study aims to describe and analyze TQM in technology-based schools in addressing the challenges of 21st-century education. The research employs a qualitative approach and descriptive case study method. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation studies involving research subjects such as school development heads, teachers, and program heads at various levels. The results of the study indicate that operational control management and performance measurement are carried out based on the following principles: (1) continuous improvement, (2) establishing quality assurance standards, (3) cultural change, (4) organizational change, and (5) maintaining relationships with customers.

Abstract

Analysis of course completion at Universitas Advent Indonesia (UNAI) is an important thing to do. By knowing the course completion of students early, UNAI can take necessary actions to improve students' course completion. This study reveals the influence of lecturer evaluation scores on student course completion in the Web Programming 1, Web Programming 2, and Programming Algorithm 1 courses during the academic years 2020-2021 to 2022-2023. The purpose of this study is to see the influence of lecturer evaluation scores on student course completion in these courses and which competencies most affect student scores. The method used in this study is data mining with the C4.5 decision tree algorithm. The results of this study show that out of 5 competencies tested, 3 competencies affect student course completion. This study uses a confusion matrix evaluation model that produces a prediction accuracy of 80%.

Abstract

In general, every individual experiences emotions in their daily lives, as emotions are part of human nature. There are various ways to express emotions, whether visibly or not. Good emotions are those that can be managed well. The focus of this study is on the management of emotions among students trained by female Islamic teachers. Emotions can lead someone towards either negative or positive directions, so managing emotions is crucial in life. This research aims to determine the role of female Islamic teachers in training students to manage their emotions at the Madrastul Qur’an Islamic School. The approach used in this research is qualitative. The data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that female Islamic teachers have several roles in training students to manage their emotions, such as providing support, motivation, identifying causes, building brotherhood/sisterhood, explaining consequences, redirecting attention towards positive aspects, providing stimuli, being fair educators, creating a good learning atmosphere, being good listeners, not demanding or forcing students, giving praise, and setting a good example.
