Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between of self regulation with academic procrastination in the student guidance and counseling courses semesters 4 and 6 of PGRI university Palembang. The hypothesis proposed in this study is there a relationship between self regulation with academic procrastination in the student guidance and counseling courses semesters 4 and 6 of PGRI university Palembang. The results by using SPSS version 20.0 showed a correlation coefficient (r) of0,603 with a coefficient of determination (R-square) of 0,364, and p = 0,000 p < 0.01. This suggests that the hypothesis is accepted which showed that there is a significant relationship betweenself regulation with academic procrastination in the student guidance and counseling courses semesters 4 and 6 of PGRI university Palembang

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this penelitiaan is to provide an analysis of occupational commitment on the faculty at the college in the Municipality of Palembang in performing the tasks Tridarma college.This research is a descriptive-quantitative research study that provides an overview based on the analysis of the subject answer score on a scale as it is. Collecting data using questionnaires occupational commitment. Data processing techniques using descriptive statistical methods.The calculation result of lecturers who are on component normative occupational commitment is still there as much as 10.87% of lecturers (45 people) who feel an attachment to their work based on responsibility and morality. While the professors who are in the affective component of occupational commitment as much as 34.52% or 146 lecturers who feel attachment to work

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between social interaction in families with assertive behaviour among eighth grade students of junior high school 7 Palembang. The hypothesis proposed in this study is there a relationship between social interactionin families with assertive behaviour among eighth grade students of junior high school 7 Palembang. The population in this study were 360 subjects who are students of eight grade, and sampled as many as 177 subject. This research used simple random sampling technique, and Analysis techniques using simple regression analysis by using SPSS version 20.0 for windows. The results showed a correlation coefficient (r) of 0,654 with a coefficient of determination (R-square) of 0.746, and  p = 0,000 (p<0,01). This suggests that the hypothesis is accepted which showed that there is a significant relationship between social interaction in families with assertive behaviour among eighth grade students of junior high school 7 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate relationship between role efficacy with job performanc in the employee CV Belantara Canton Park in Palembang. Dependent variable in this study is a job performanc, Role Efficacy an independent variable. This research uses a scale of job performanc and role efficacy. The sample used 40 employee. The results of this research showed a significant relationship between role efficacy with  job performanc in the employee CV Belantara Canton Park in  Palembang with a value of r = 0.796, p = 0.000 for the results of significance (p) 0.000 mean value of p <0.01. So otherwise there is a very significant relationship role efficacy contributes to Job Performanc of 63.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine improvements in language skills of children through storytelling using media images in group B TK Fajar Insan Palembang. Subjects in this study were children in group B TK Fajar Insan Palembang in the academic year 2015-2016, amounting to as many as four children, has two daughters and two sons. The method used is classroom action research, the process of the implementation of this action research is collaborative and participatory between principals, teachers, children and involved in the learning process. The results showed that the method of telling stories using media images can improve a child's language ability. It is shown from the results of the analysis showed that the average child's language ability Fajar Insan TK Group B in the first cycle was 2.95 and in the second cycle was 3.8.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between achievement motivation and competence of employees managerial. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a relationship between achievement motivation and competence of employees managerial.Population and samples in this study were 738 employees, which is obtained through proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Measuring instruments used in this study is the scale of achievement motivation and competence scale. Analysis techniques using simple regression analysis techniques using SPSS version 18.0.Based on the analysis of research data, it is known (r) of 0741 with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.549 and p = 0, 0000 p <(0.01). This means that there is a significant relationship between achievement motivation and competence of managerial employees

Abstract

This research determines the relationship  between self control and conflict dating to students majored in computer science of Faculty of Informatics Systems Force 2009 at Bina Darma University Palembang. Hypothesis is the  relationship  between self control and conflict dating to students majored in computer science of Faculty of Informatics Systems Force 2009 at Bina Darma University Palembang. Populations this study were students majored in computer science of faculty of informatics systems force 2009 Bina Darma University Palembang. By taking 118 samples of people. The subject of this research was taken by using Purposive Sampling techniques. Data analysis in this research was sample regression analysis. The results of this study showed there was significant between self control and conflict dating to students majored in computer science of Faculty of Informatics Systems Force 2009 at Bina Darma University Palembang. Contribution were made by self control and dating conflicts was 51% (R square = 0.510). It means 49% were influenced by other factors but they were researched further in this study

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design a therapy module and determine the therapeutic effectiveness of Problem Solving Therapy which is an approach based on cognitive behavior that focuses on training attitudes and effective problem solving skills. The approach used in this study is a mixed method that involves collecting qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data used in this study are interviews, observations, and daily report self-problems, while the quantitative data are in the form of DASS questionnaires (Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale) and Problem Solving Test. The results showed that there were significant differences between the results of the pre test and post test. In addition, there are also changes in the cognitive, emotional and behavioral areas, such as subjects who are able to think positively about the day-to-day situations, events, and problems so that they also affect the emotions and behavior of subjects such as subjects more calm and more able to control his emotions when facing situations, events, and everyday problems. Thus the therapy used in this study is Problem Solving Therapy effective for reducing stress and improving problem solving abilities in individuals who have experienced domestic violence.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior in  staff. Subjects in this study amounted to 170 administrative employees in Palembang  Hospital. The sample technique used in this study is simple random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the scale of self-control and Cyberloafing behavior. The analysis technique used is simple regression using SPSS version 20.0 The results of the analysis show that the correlation coefficient (r) = 0.515 with the score obtained is (R-square) = 0.265 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05 and p <0.01) which means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. These results indicate that there is a very significant relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior in administrative staff in Palembang  Hospital. The variable contribution of self-control with cyberloafing behavior variable is 26.5%.
