Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dosage of manure and the number of seeds per planting hole on the growth and yield of organic rice crops and the real or not the interaction of these two factors. The experimental design to be used in this research is Split Plot 4 x 3, with 3 replications. Factor dose of manure (D) as main plot consist of 4 level, that is: 0 ton ha-1 (control), 5 ton ha-1, 10 ton ha-1 and 15 ton ha-1. Factor Number of Seedlings per Planting Hole (B) as subplot consists of 3 levels, namely: 1 Seeds per planting hole, 2 Seeds per planting hole and 3 Seeds per hole The study was conducted in Suka Makmue district, Nagan Raya District, Aceh Province. Starting from March to July 2016. The result of dose of manure has a very significant effect on the number of panicles, the effect is not significant on the length of panicle, the percentage of unhulled grain, the percentage of unhulled grain, the weight of 1000 grains, the weight of Grain Contains Per Rumpun and production per hectare. The number of seedlings on cultivation has a significant effect on the number of panicles, panicle length, percentage of unhulled grain, percentage of unhulled grain, weight of 1000 grains, the grain weight and production per hectare. Keywords : Organic Fertilizer, number of seeds per planting hole, rice production

Abstract

Root-knot Nematode (Meloidogyne sp.) is one of plant-parasitic nematode causing a serious damage of coffee. The spread of this parasites occurs through the distribution the number of eggs on the plantation, while the process of infection in plants is acted by juvenile 2. Therefore, to solve this problem, several effort to decrease the infesting nematodes are needed. This may be done by using natural enemy that can suppress and control eggs and juvenile 2. The objective of this research was to determine the potency of pathogenicity of actinomycetes toward Meloidogyne eggs and juvenile 2. A total of 39 actinomycetes isolates were obtained from rhizosphere soil of coffee plantation from PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII, Bondowoso, East Java. The result of in vitro pathogencity screening showed that there are 5 isolates (P2A01, K1B1, P4A04, H106 and H203) than had the potency in controlling eggs and juvenile 2. Then, crude extract of the isolates tested on mature and immature eggs. The result showed that isolates H106 and P2A01 were able to control Meloidogyne by triggering immature egg hatching and increase juvenile mortality. While isolates P4A04, K1B1 and H203 could decrease the percentage of egg hatching as well as increase juvenile mortality. Keywords: Actinomycetes, Meloidogyne sp., Pathogenicity, Egg, Juvenile 2

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the agronomy character of local rice genotype of Aceh as morphological characteristic. The research conducted at the Experimental Garden of Teuku Umar University, Meulaboh West Aceh from September 2016 to March 2017. The materials used in this research are 5 local accessions of local gogo rice of Aceh: Ramos, Dewi, Sigupai, Tinggong, Siputeh, and IR 64 as control. This research used observation method. The growth and production data were presented and analyzed in graphical form. The visual observation data was presented in the form of documentary photographs and described in descriptions. The results showed that the longest plant length at age 20 days after planting (HST), 40 HST, and 60 HST was found in local accession compared to IR 64 varieties. The tillers per clums age of 20 HST were found in Siputeh local accession, while at age 40 HST and 60 HST local accessions were the least number of tillers compared to IR 64 varieties. Long panicle (Dewi), weight of pithy grain (Ramos) and percentage of pithy grain  (Ramos), percentage of empty grain (Ramos), of all best variables are found in local accessions in comparison with IR 64 varieties. The flowering age, weight of 1000 grains, and the number of productive tillers at local accessions are lower than that of IR 64 varieties. Keywords: Character of Agronomy, Gogo Rice, Local Aceh

Abstract

The climate is defined as the condition of mean of air temperature, precipitation, the air pressure, the direction of the wind, air moisture and other parameters in long time. The fluctuations of high rainfall significantly affect plant productivity, such as farming, forestry and agriculture. The amount of rainfall is very important in determine the result of the cultivation of plants. Especially if it is associated with the influence of the increase of temperature. The result of this research showed that the type of land at research location were incepticol (land suitability 1) and ultisol (land suitability II, III, IV and V). The mean of annual rainfall in research location (since 2012 until 2014), were 1500 until 2000 mm/years. The mean air temperature was 26-27 oC and air moisture between 82-85.9 %. Keywords: Melapi Timber, rainfall, temperature, type of land, variability

Abstract

The South-West Region of Aceh is one of the regions in the province of Aceh that is very rich in local rice diversity that needs to be identified and utilized as a source of genes in ssembling new superior varieties to support food security and sustainable agriculture. This study aims to determine the presence of potential local rice genotypes in the South-West Region of Aceh. This research was carried out in the South-West region of Aceh for potential local rice exploration. The survey results in the Aceh Barat-Selatan region have several potential genotypes of local rice in districts in the South-West Aceh region that are still cultivated by farmers in the south, while potential local gonotypes of rice in the South-West Aceh region, namely Aceh Jaya district: , Jantoeng, Sikleng, Ramos, Sijane, Dewi and Leukat Jeuram, West Aceh districts: Itam Tangke Lango, Head of Gidan Kinco, Lekat jero Lango, Sirendeh Semantuk Wayla and Bo Rayek Semantok Wayla. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mycorrhizal fungi types on the growth and  yield of red pepper plants (Capsicum annum L.). This research used non factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 3 replications. The factor studied is the factor of mycorrhizal, which consists of 4 levels, namely: Without Mycorrhizal, Mycorrhiza Glomus sp., MikorizaGigaspora sp., Mixture Mikoriza Glomus sp. and Gigaspora sp. The parameters studied were nutrient uptake of N and P, fresh and dry weight of vegetative and generative phases, root biomass (fresh and dry) vegetative and generative phases, yield potentials per plant, vegetative and generative root phase roots, and mycorrhiza infection rates (%). The results of this study indicate that the type of mycorrhizal fungi. The type of mycorrhizal fungi has a very significant effect on the fresh and dry weighted weights, the fresh and dry root weight and the vegetative root phase length, and have no significant effect on N and P nutrient uptake, fresh and dry root weight, root length, yield potential/plant and mycorrhizal infection. The best type of mycorrhizal fungi for growth and yield of red pepper plants is Gigaspora sp.Keywords: Biomass, Glomus sp., Gigaspora sp.

Abstract

Effect of Plant Spacing and Dosage Manure on Growth and Yield of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). This study aims to determine the effect of plant spacing and doses of manure is right for the growth and yield of onion maximum. This research was conducted at the Agricultural Research Station, substations Organic Horticulture Darussalam, Banda Aceh. This research has been conducted on the month in March 2016 to May 2016. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) factorial 2 x 4 with three replications, so that there are 8 combined treatments and 24 experimental units. Factors studied were plant spacing which consists of two levels ie (20 cm x 15 cm) and (20 cm x 25 cm) and the dose of manure which consists of four levels ie (without manure), (10 ton ha-1) , (20 ton ha-1) and (30 ton ha-1). The results showed that the spacing of significant effect on the wet weight berangkasan per plot and the dry weight of tuber per plot, plant height significantly affected the age of 30 HST and berangkasan dry weight per plot. Influential no significant effect on plant height at 15 and 45 days after planting, leaf number aged 15, 30 and 45 days after planting, the number of tillers per hill, tuber number per hill, wet weight berangkasan per clump, dry weight berangkasan per clump, dry weight of tuber per hill. Growth and the best results encountered at a spacing of 15 cm x 20 cm. Dose manure no real effect on all the observed variables. There was no significant interaction between treatment and dose spacing of manure, so there is no relationship between the two factors. Keywords : onion, plant spacing and doses of manure

Abstract

Rice ear bug is a pest which potentially sucks the ripe rice grains, therefore the grain will not be fulfilled or even empty. The usage of organic attractant with the enrichment of chemical pesticide is one of the alternatives to control the rice ear bug.The purposes of this research are to discover the preference of rice ear bug toward the organic attractant and to determine the most effective organic attractant that able to control the rice ear bug in laboratory.The research had been conducted on December 2018 until January 2019, located in experimental garden and research, faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries and Biology, University of Bangka Belitung.This research used experimental method by treating the salted fish attractant, crab, and shrimp.Data was analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis test, descriptive quantitative, and qualitative data will be shown in score and picture.The number and mortality index of rice ear bug on salted fish attractant shows the highest, but not significant different with the shrimp attractant.The number of rice ear bug respectively on salted fish, crab, and shrimp are nineteen, four, and thirteen individuals. Abstract

Mangrove litters like leaves, branches and fruit will partly sunk under its own weight and blown by the currents of the ocean when sink back again to normal. Litter is carried away a current of who will be the organic matter and capable of being increases the production of litter yielded become an important factor in the transfer of hara of its vegetation those mangrove trees into the ground. This study aims to in order to understand the the production of mangrove litter in the area of those mangrove trees in Aceh Jaya. This research is right beside the road explorative and descriptive. The determination of the study locations is based on a method of purposive the sampling method of that has been assumed represent the regions of this research. The research results show the production of litter hutan mangrove in the remote and sparsely populated Rigaih of environmental friendly of the district of Aceh Jaya as much as 9.85 tons on higher demand for/ than one hectare in size/years. The type of whichdominant who gives hara of the largest memorials in hutan mangrove this is Rhizophora stylosa with the volume of production as much as litter 5.27 tons on higher demand for/than one hectare in size/years or about 53%. The parameter of the physical environment of to exert an influence upon the production of litter hutan mangrove in the area of environmentallyfriendly Aceh Jaya district.
