Abstract

Upaya peningkatan kualitas layanan selama ini berakar dari konsep Service Quality (SERVQUAL) dan berkembang melalui integrasinya dengan metode Kano dan House of Quality (HoQ). Dasar pengukuran dan perumusan upaya perbaikan atau peningkatan kualitas layanan adalah menggunakan perspektif konsumen. Pendekatan integrasi ini menghasilkan rencana perbaikan yang terlokalisir pada persepsi, ekspektasi, kepentingan dari perpektif konsumen saja serta menghasilkan perbaikan yang sifatnya generik. Hasil rumusan rencana perbaikan yang dilakukan juga terkadang tidak diselaraskan dengan visi, misi, strategi, arah pengembangan organisasi dan kondisi kompetitif yang dialami organisasi tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris suatu integrasi peningkatan kualitas layanan yang dirumuskan bukan hanya dari perspektif konsumen, tapi juga mempertimbangkan perspektif manajemen strategis pada suatu perusahaan penyedia Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). Melalui penelitian ini, skema integrasi SERVQUAL, Kano dan House of Quality (berdasarkan perspektif konsumen) diterapkan pada distributor CNG, menggunakan 32 atribut layanan yang didefinisikan berdasarkan kriteria logistic service, berujung pada 6 solusi perbaikan. Kerangka integrasi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan paduan SWOT, Competitive Profile dan Grand Strategy Matrix (berdasarkan perspektif manajemen strategis) menghasilkan 8 strategi bisnis perusahaan yang diikuti upaya peningkatan kualitas layanan yang jauh lebih berbobot dan memiliki nilai strategis, yang tidak teridentifikasi dari analisis sebelumnya, seperti: membuat masyarakat tertarik pada produk GASRA, membangun brand image produk GASRA, ataupun penggunaan media sosial untuk menawarkan produk gas.

Abstract

PT. DEF is a company that engage in developing children toys. At this time, PT. DEF is trying to implement industrial 4.0 concept. All of the aspects need to implement automation system, especially in the die cut area. In order to assign the job order from customer, the schedule was prepared manually and lack of parameter considerations. Consequently, planner should revise the schedule because they did miscalculation that will impact on job order distribution and unscheduled die cut part. Starting from January 2021 – September 2021 there are 420 die cut part numbers should be assigned to the die cut machine. Since the schedule is prepare manually, PT. DEF experience loss and it reached IDR 236,376,000,00. Thus, integrating the production planner schedule and daily schedule adherence (DSA) should be conducted and followed by user requirements consideration. This research uses business process improvement as the development method. New integrated system that developed using visual basic for application (VBA) can reduce the manual activities and human error issues. By reducing manual activities, according to measurement of cycle time, the new system can operate 102.46 minutes faster than previous system which is 123.58 minutes. It also can reduce 100% unscheduled part every month in the die cut area at PT. DEF. Overall, the saving cost of new integrated system when calculated based on time reduction and unscheduled part number is Rp 10,667,211.93 per month or equal to Rp 128,006,543.14 per year.

Abstract

MUI is a company that carries out the electroplating process for car accessories. With high demand, the efficiency process is very concerned because inefficiency can prolong the lead time process so that the production target is not achieved and will have an impact on the delivery of goods to customers. To minimize the factors that cause inefficiency, a value stream mapping method of lean manufacturing is used to identify waste. Two dominant wastes that affect efficiency based on the research results are waste defects and waste waiting. After that, analysis of the root cause of the problem was carried out and then repaired by the kaizen method. Improvements made in the form of maintenance of the water supply system, cleaning of transporter machines, modifying jig capacity to increase the quantity previously 90 pcs per batch to 144 pcs per batch. After repairs were made, the sigma level for the waste defect category increased by 0.42 from 3.35 to 3.77 and the total lead time decreased by 95,189 seconds from 164,886 seconds to 69,677 seconds, so as to increase the efficiency of the process cycle (PCE) by 6.74%.

Abstract

Di zaman serba canggih ini, tidak dipungkiri bahwa internet sudah menjadi kebutuhan primer, mulai dari bekerja di kantor (email, teleconference) bahkan sampai membeli kebutuhan sehari-hari dari rumah (online shopping). Penggunaan internet yang meluas telah melahirkan sebuah sistem teknologi baru yang disebut dengan Internet of Things (IoT). Teknologi ini bahkan sudah merambah ke area perumahan warga (residential) dan biasa disebut dengan teknologi rumah pintar (smart home). Rumah pintar adalah sebuah konsep yang mana setiap benda-benda di rumah dijadikan sebagai perangkat (hardware) yang mampu untuk saling berkomunikasi melalui jaringan internet. Manfaat utama dari teknologi ini adalah membantu dalam hal penghematan energi, pengamanan, dan keselamatan penghuni rumah. Namun, ada beberapa kategori rumah pintar seperti kategori rendah (low), sedang (middle) dan tinggi (high) dengan karakteristiknya yang berbeda-beda: mulai dari penggunaan dan kebutuhan perangkat sampai pada tipe rumah dan segmentasi pasarnya di Indonesia. Tulisan ini membahas kategori-kategori tersebut (konfigurasi, kelebihan, dan kekurangan) yang dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi siapa pun yang sedang mempertimbangkan untuk membeli peralatan-peralatan canggih dalam melakukan upgrade bagi rumah tinggalnya sekarang.

Abstract

Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) approach is one of a qualitative methodology risk analysis that is often used for identified the potential danger in the workplace. This research was conducted directly at Carmin’s Tempe Factory by interviewing the workers. Steps in this research are sorting the production process, identified the potential of danger by worksheet hazop, analyzing risk control, monitoring and evaluation, designing improvements, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that there were 18 potential hazards in 8 stages of the tempe-making process at Carmin's factory. Some improvements are needed,  such as equalization of operators for each work station, improvement of workspaces, and the addition of ergonomic tools so that the potential for accidents can be controlled

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare students' entrepreneurial intelligence between those who intend to be entrepreneurs and those who do not. This study employs a quantitative approach with a comparative technique. Through a google form, data were collected from 186 students as samples. The questionnaire is made up of questions pertaining to business motivation and business intelligence. The data were analyzed using the t-test to determine the difference between two groups. The findings of this study indicate that students who intend to become entrepreneurs have a greater level of entrepreneurial intelligence than those who do not.

Abstract

  PT XYZ is a company in publishing, printing, security printing, and general trading. This company uses many large machines to carry out the production process so the spare parts used to support the machine are many types. A large number of types of spare parts is a problem for the company because the storage of spare parts in the company has not been neatly arranged, there is no data collection for incoming and outgoing spare parts, and old and new spare parts are not separated, spare parts are not arranged according to type, there are no special marks on the storage area, and there is spare parts packaging waste in the storage area. This causes technicians to have difficulty when looking for spare parts and causes waste of movement. This study aims to improve the spare parts storage area by minimizing movement waste so that technicians can easily find spare parts. An Analysis of spare parts storage was carried out using a process flow chart and improvements with the application of the 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke). The application of the 5S method to the spare parts storage area at PT XYZ can regulate the work environment and minimize the time for taking spare parts from 218 minutes to 159 minutes.
