Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the management of zakat fitrah at the Paripurna Nurul Ibadah Mosque, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The data collection technique used is the documentation technique, namely the systematic analysis of qualitative data (Observation, Interview, and Documentation). The results of this study indicate that the management and distribution of zakat fitrah at the Nurul Ibadah Plenary Mosque has met the management standards of zakat fitrah, but in the aspect of the collection, there are still muzakki who pay their zakat fitrah outside the mosque. As for the zakat fitrah distribution system, technically, muzakki delivers to amail, amil picks up the muzakki's house, muzakki transfers his zakat account to the mosque. The collection technique is like money/rice if it is in a percentage of 2.5%. Meanwhile, the zakat fitrah distribution is carried out for the congregation of the Nurul Ibadah Mosque congregation by UPZ, distributed five days before Eid; the maximum time is on the eve of Eid al-Fitr".

In response, the accessibility to products, service quality, and infrastructures in sharia financial industries are increased. The sharia banks’ financing products can play a significant role in national development and public welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of the halal culinary business through digital marketing in the new normal era. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results show that the halal culinary business in the new normal era still exists. This is supported by the application of digital marketing, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and business opportunities in the form of the majority of the Indonesian population being Muslim, increasing demand for halal food, business digitization, lifestyle, easy halal certification, product diversity, local wisdom, efficiency and effectiveness as well as the development of e-commerce. However, the challenges faced are in the form of business sustainability, other cheaper halal products, variety of products from large industries, ease of entering the market and the emergence of similar new businesses. For this reason, alternative strategies include utilizing social media by displaying complete information regarding shops or stalls and products, displaying clear and attractive images, establishing good communication with customers, offering promos or discounts, paying attention to customer reviews and correcting any mistakes and being active on social media.
