Abstract

System of Rice Intensification (SRI) by a Local Microorganisme Usage (MOL) in Producing the Compost Fertilizer (Case Study at Desa Sidodadi Kabupaten Deli Serdang) is expected to maintain the fertile of land, improve land microbia population and to preserve the environment at once capable to maintain or improve land productivity. The agriculture system with SRI is applied by using organic material such as fruif waste whis is fermented to produced MOL used as decomposer in composing proges. This reseach studied microbia population where an organik agricaltural system (SRI) has been applied. The reseach was comparedl of mikroba population soil also whith how effect SRI aplication between chemical fertilizer  for the managemental in Sidodadi village.Using compost MOL at SRI improved microbia  population soil by the result of soil analysis either chemically and biologically the uses of MOL compost is far better compared for environmental the uses of an-organic fertilizer. The SRI pattern practiced at Desa Sidodadi was an agricultural work  environmentally friendly using organic fertilizer as source of nutrients improve physical, chemical and biological properties of soil as well in increasing production yield.

Abstract

This research was done on 08th – 10th August, 2011 at Countryside of Alue Keurinyai Banda Baro District, North Aceh Sub-province, Aceh Province. The aim of this research was to know doze effectivity of pala oil for tilapia (oreochromis niloticus) fainting while transportation. This research used non factorial completely randomized treatment with three replications on each treatments that using 0,8; 0,9; 1 and 1,1 ppm doze. The test observed in this research was the speed of fainting fish, insensible recovery, and survival rate on each treatments. Result showed us that the fourth experiment was the speedest faint, while the first experiment was the speedest insensible recovery. While in survival rate, the first experiment was showed the best result, where the percentage value reachs 58,33%. Based on statistical analyze showed that f count > f table in 99.99 % level of trust for all tested observe.

Abstract

This study was conducted in a potato farm in Bener Meriah District of Aceh Province from June to August 2013. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect potato farm income in the observation site. The analytical method used is the method of multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis showed that the amount of production, land, labor, capital and the selling price is very significant influence on a potato farm in the area.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perubahan dalam perkembangan gonad kerang Anadara granosa di Lhokseumawe, bagian utara Selat Malaka dalam hubungannya dengan fluktuasi kualitas air harian. Untuk menentukan periode pemijahan populasi kerang, dilakukan analisis indeks kondisi (condition index/CI). Sampel kerang dikumpulkan dari Juli 2009 sampai Mei 2010 dan parameter kualitas air turut diukur secara berkala. Indeks kondisi tertinggi dari populasi kerang diamati pada Oktober 2009 (13.97±3.49), sedangkan indek kondisi terendah ditemukan pada Januari 2010 (6.76±1.13). Periode pemijahan untuk A. granosa diketahui terjadi terus-menerus sepanjang tahun, dengan puncak pemijahan terjadi pada bulan Oktober 2009 sehingga Januari 2010. Suhu air dan salinitas harian di lokasi penelitian berkisar antara 24-34 oC dan 27-33 ppt. Periode pemijahan populasi A. granosa diketahui bertepatan dengan terjadinya fluktuasi secara drastis pada suhu air dan salinitas harian. Analisis kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa suhu dan salinitas adalah modulator utama peristiwa reproduksi. Ketika suhu dan salinitas berfluktuasi, aktifitas pemijahan secara sporadis terdeteksi pada spesies ini. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa periode pemijahan yang diikuti oleh proses rekrutmen dalam populasi kerang A. granosa Lhokseumawe sangat tergantung pada kondisi lingkungan kawasan tersebut..

Abstract

Analysis of factors influencing people’s income after tsunami. Income is the main factor in improving the walfare of society. Post-tsunami community life certainly very difficult, all sources of income and their property destroyed by the brunt of the tsunami waves. Human capital, physical capital and economic capital and social capital is also a key factor in increasing rural incomes post-tsunami. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence people’s income after the tsunami. Data were analyzed by regression analysis. The research show that social capital is a factor which significantly affect the increase in income after the tsunami.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembentukan kawasan perlindungan laut (Marine Protected Areas/MPA) di Pulo Aceh, Indonesia, dengan menggunakan input dari analisis Sistem Informasi Geografis. Langkah-langkah pengelolaan adalah diperlukan untuk memastikan bahwa sumber daya laut dapat hidup dan ekosistem dapat dilestarikan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjuk daerah-daerah tertentu sebagai daerah perlindungan laut (DPL). Pulo Aceh meliputi 24,961.9 hektar yang terdiri dari habitat daratan dan habitat lautan yang terpilih sebagai kawasan MPA. Zonasi di kawasan konservasi laut didasarkan pada data ekologi dan data ekologi konservasi, sosial ekonomi dan budaya masyarakat setempat. Zona utama yang telah ditetapkan dan dipetakan dalam kawasan konservasi, yaitu zona inti (94,14 ha atau 0,38 %), zona pemanfaatan (15,144.86 ha atau 60,67 %) dan zona penyangga (1,038.77 ha atau 4,16 %). Zona inti sangat dilarang dari kegiatan pengambilan hasil laut, pariwisata dan ekonomi, sementara kegiatan penelitian dan konservasi dapat diperbolehkan. Zona pemanfaatan dibagi menjadi area untuk pariwisata, penggunaan tradisional, penggunaan pelagis, penelitian dan pelatihan. Akomodasi permanen untuk kegiatan pariwisata atau pengambilan sumber daya alam diperbolehkan melalui pelaksanaan proses penilaian dampak lingkungan terlebih dahulu. Kegiatan di zona penyangga adalah sangat terbatas dan dikendalikan sepenuhnya hanya untuk kegiatan pengambilan hasil laut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate 27 potato accession numbers from crosses that have disease resistance of  P. infestans ( late blight ), knowing the potential production of 27 clones of potato accession numbers from crosses. Results showed the intensity of the disease are observed including six resistant clones 22.22% (PT4, AP3, PT3, AP4, AP7, and PT2) with the intensity of attacks between 9.70-18.33%, 14.81% four moderately resistant clone (PT1, PT5, AP8 and AP2) with the intensity of 20.48-37.50%, 12%  moderately susceptible clones 44.44 (RP5, RP18, RP7, RP16, RP 6, RP 8, RP3, RP2, RP14, RP17, Rp13, and RP10) with the intensity of attacks 45.00-59, 12%, and 18-52% five clones were classified as susceptible (RP4, RP15, RP 9, AP1 and AP6) with the intensity of attacks between 68.18-100%. Intensity of the relationship is linear with the number of bulbs, with the model equation Y = 17 594 - 0.174x. (R2 = 0.264), the intensity of the relationship with tuber weight is linear, with the model equation Y = 404 817-4.606x. (R2 = 0.297) and the intensity of the bulb volume is linear, with a regression model Y = 346 010- 4.081x. (R2 = 0.292).
