Abstract

Abstrak - Produksi padi di Indonesia setiap tahun mengalami peningkatan, namun peningkatan ini belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan nasional sehingga impor masih harus dilakukan. Salah satu masalah dalam produksi beras adalah penggunaan pupuk berlebih yang tidak hanya meningkatkan biaya produksi, namun juga merusak kondisi tanah. Aplikasi bakteri tanah sebagai Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) dapat menjadi salah satu solusi terhadap masalah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi bakteri tanah dari 3 lokasi sawah daerah Bekasi, membandingkan keberadaan total bakteri pada ketiga lokasi tersebut,  dan melakukan karakterisasi isolat berdasarkan karakter yang dapat memicu pertumbuhan tanaman. Dari ketiga lokasi, diperoleh total 59 isolat dan 5 diantaranya berpotensi sebagai PGPR karena kemampuan fiksasi Nitrogen, melarutkan Fosfat, katalase positif, dan motil. Dari ketiga lokasi pengambilan sampel, BK1 memiliki jumlah total bakteri terendah karena aplikasi pemupukan dan pestisida berlebih yang ditandai tingginya kadar P total, serta tingginya residu klorpirifos, karbofuran, dan paration. Kondisi fisik tanah BK1 juga didominasi partikel liat yang menyebabkan tanah menjadi lebih padat. Peningkatan jumlah penggunaan pupuk tidak selalu diikuti peningkatan produktivitas tanaman. Kata Kunci - Bakteri tanah, Rhizosfer sawah, PGPR, Pupuk Hayati Abstract - Rice production in Indonesia has increased annually, but this increase has not reached national demand,so imports still done. One of the problems in rice production is the use of excessive fertilizers that not only increase production costs, but also decreased the soil conditions. The application of soil bacteria as Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) can be the one solution to face this problem. The objective of this study was isolate soil bacteria from 3 locations of rice field in Bekasi, compare the total bacteria in the three locations, and characterize isolates based on the character that can promote plant growth. From three locations, a total of 59 isolates were obtained and 5 of them were potential as a PGPRs due to its Nitrogen fixation activity, Phosphate solubilization, positive catalase, and motility. From three sampling sites, BK1 has the lowest TPC value because of excessive  fertilizers and pesticides application which indicated by high total P levels, and also high chlorpyrifos, carbofuran and paration residues. The physical condition of BK1 soil is also dominated by clay particles which causes the soil more solid. Increasing of fertilizer application is not always followed by increased plant productivity. Keywords - Biofertilizer, PGPR, Rice field rhizosphere, Soil Bacteria

Abstract

Abstrak- Faktor pendorong pengembangan layanan telekomunikasi adalah terciptanya beberapa teknologi akses yang dapat mengoptimalkan akses layanan broadband. Teknologi ini berperan penting dalam mendukung hadirnya suatu layanan telekomunikasi dikenal dengan nama triple play. Layanan tersebut menggabungkan data, suara dan video (IPTV) dalam satu layanan. Layanan ini dapat dinikmati apabila jaringan akses lokal suatu wilayah sudah dimodernisasi dari Jarlokat (Jaringan Lokal Akses Tembaga) menjadi Jarlokaf (Jaringan Lokal Akses Fiber). Dalam pengaplikasiannya dilapangan, teknologi modernisasi ditentukan dengan berbagai faktor yaitu faktor demografi, geografi serta ekonomi. Kawasan Darmo, Surabaya merupakan daerah metropolitan residensial dengan kepadatan penduduk yang cukup tinggi, kondisi geografis sudah terbangun struktur backbone, dan kondisi ekonomi penduduknya menengah ke atas. Proses modernisasi jaringan di kawasan Darmo, Surabaya dapat diterapkan sistem full fiber/teknologi Optical Line Transmission (OLT) secara langsung tanpa melalui teknologi Multi Service Access Node (MSAN).Abstract - The driving factor for the development of telecommunications services is the creation of several access technologies that can optimize access to broadband services. This technology plays an important role in supporting the presence of a telecommunications service known as triple play. The service combines data, voice and video (IPTV) in one service. This service can be enjoyed if the local access network of a region has been modernized from Jarlokat (Local Access Copper Network) to Jarlokaf (Fiber Access Local Network). In its application, modernization technology is determined by various factors, namely demographic factors, geographical factors and economic factors. Darmo area, Surabaya is a residential metropolitan area with a high population density, geographical conditions that have been built optical backbone structure, and the economic conditions of the population are quite rich. The network modernization process in the Darmo area, Surabaya can be implemented full fiber system / Optical Line Transmission (OLT) technology directly without going through Multi Service Access Node (MSAN) technology.Keywords – Local Copper Access Network, Local Fiber Access Network, Triple Play, MSAN, OLT

Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the supply chain model of PT. Lotte Mart Indonesia (LMI) and analyze the performance of its cross dock distribution system using the adjusted Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model. The products studied were the fastest moving drinks and dairy category.  The first level of performance indicator for Reliability attribute is Perfect Order Fulfillment which has the second level of performance indicators are % of Orders Delivered in Full, and On Time Delivery. The supply chain performance for 3 months in 2012 was good at 74%. The second level mapping found errors in the deliver stock (D1) and deliver retail (D4) procedures. The third level mapping found 4 erroneous procedures in the stock-out goods, receiving inappropriate order, delayed and damaged goods, and a gap between ordered and received goods.  Procedures were suggested to remedy these errors.

Abstract

Abstrak – Kualitas produk minyak goreng dari setiap pabrikan memiliki karakteristik yang beragam, tergantung dari bahan dan proses pembuatan. Minyak goreng yang digunakan secara berulang  akan meningkatkan asam lemak bebas (kolesterol jahat) yang tidak sehat bila dikosumsi oleh manusia. Pada penelitian ini, minyak goreng dipanaskan bertahap sampai pada titik didih. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan viskositas dan perubahan fisis minyak goreng  akan menentukan besaran asam lemak bebas. Abstract – The quality of cooking oil products from each manufacturer has a variety of characteristics, depending on the quality of the cooking oil from the material and manufacturing process. Cooking oil used repeatedly will increase the amount of free fatty acids (bad cholesterol), which is not healthy for human consumption. In this research, cooking oil was heated gradually up to the boiling point. The observation showed physical changes in viscosity and cooking oil will determine the amount of free fatty acids. Keyword -  Cooking oil test using viscosity and physical changes methods.

Abstract

Abstrak – Teknis pemberian pulse width modulation (PWM) menjadi sangat penting terutama dalam pengendalian motor seperti pada motor direct current (motror DC), motor stepper maupun motor servo. Lebar pulsa duty cycle dalam satu perioda waktu  PWM akan menentukan tingkat keakuratan kecepatan maupun sudut. PWM diatur memggunakan program (assembly),  kemudian kecepatanya diamati menggunakan alat ukur laser tachometer sedangkan tingkat kepersisian sudutnya diukur menggunakan pola kertas (template). Untuk mendapatkan performa independensi setiap motor, maka motor dikendalikan dan diujicobakan tanpa menggunakan beban  (tidak ada uji torsi). Kata kunci- pulse width modulation mekatronika motor traineer. Abstract – the pulse width modulation (PWM) is especially inportant for motor controlling such as in DC motor, stepper motor and servo motor. The width of duty cycle in time period will determine speed and angle accurately. PWM wil be generated by using low level programm code of microcontroller (assembler), then speed of motor observed by laser tachometer and angle rotation observed by paper patern template. To get the performance independence of each motor, the motor is controlled and tested without the use of loads (no test of torque). Keywords – pulse width modulation motor traineer for mechatronic modules.

Abstract

Abstrak - Perkembangan teknologi khususnya dalam bidang komunikasi antar manusia sudah sangat mudah dilakukan dengan telepon genggam dan fiturnya sangat bervariasi. Pertukaran informasi jarak jauh ini menuntut keamanan terhadap kerahasiaan informasi yang dipertukarkan. Oleh karena itu, metode kriptografi dilakukan untuk mengamankan informasi tersebut. Salah satu metode kriptografi untuk penyandian teks adalah metode Vigenere Cipher. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun aplikasi kriptografi teks pesan pada smartphone berbasis android dengan metode Vigenere Cipher. Metode ini mengenkripsi teks pesan menjadi pesan rahasia yang kemudian hasilnya diteruskan sebagai teks pesan ke aplikasi pengiriman pesan seperti aplikasi SMS (Short Message Service), Whatsapp, Line, dan sejenisnya untuk selanjutnya didekripsi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi berbasis android yang dapat mengirimkan teks pesan terenkripsi menggunakan metode Vigenere Cipher untuk memberikan keamanan lebih pada proses pertukaran informasi.Kata Kunci – Cryptography, Vigenere Cipher, Android.Abstract – Mobile phones and its various features allow humans to communicate in this technology development era. The information secrecy especially during long range information exchange is very noteworthy. So that, those information can be protected by cryptography method. Vigenere Cipher is one of cryptography method for text encoding. The aim of this study is to construct application of text message cryptography on android Smartphone using Vigenere Cipher method. This method encrypted text message into secret message then forwarded this information to other applications like SMS (Short Message Service), Whatsapp, Line and so on then being decrypted. Android based application was resulted which allow to send encrypted text message using Vigenere Cipher to provide more security in the process of information exchange.Keywords - Cryptography, Vigenere Cipher, Android.

Abstract

Most commercial Yagi antennas for TV reception are built based on wires. These Yagi wire-antennas are commonly used as outdoor antennas due to their size and weight properties. In this paper, novel light weight Yagi aperture antennas are introduced. Two prototypes had been built by using low cost materials such as aluminum (insects) screen, cylinder can, aluminum foil, and styrofoam. The antennas worked at the TV band and have gains around 9.7 – 13.5 dBi comparable to the outdoor Yagi wire antennas. Due to their lightweight and smaller dimension nature, they were suitable for used as indoor TV antennas. The antennas had also unique property due to the use of Styrofoam. They were portable, easy to construct and deconstruct.

Abstract

Abstrak – Dalam melakukan praktikum teknik digital berbasis protoboard kadangkala pihak pengguna melakukan kesalahan fatal yaitu terjadi hubung singkat power supply dalam interkoneksi. Untuk menghindari kerusakan power supply akibat hubung singkat dalam modul praktikum digital, diperlukan sebuah rangkaian elektronika yang mampu mendeteksi dan memutus arus  sumber (power supply) dengan segera pada saat terjadi hubung singkat. Modul praktikum teknik digital dalam penelitian ini telah dilengkapi dengan sistem proteksi power supply dari hubung singkat dengan waktu tanggap kurang dari 5 ms, menggunakan teknis waktu jeda pengosongan kapasitor dan opamp pembanding tegangan.  Abstract – When conducting experiments practicum in digital protoboard base project, users often made a fatal mistake that cause short circuit interconnection. To avoid damaging the power supply of experiment module (hardware), it requires an electronic circuit that is able to detect and cut off the main power supply immediately. In research the modular lab has been equipped with an electronics short circuit protection system with a response time of less than 5 ms, using capacitor discharge and opamp voltage comparator technique.  Keyword – RC Transient, Power Supply Protection Systems, Bypass Filter Capacitor.

Abstract

Abstrak – Teknis pembacaan kartu RFID (tag) dimana pembaca kartunya (card reader) diletakan dekat permukaan logam akan memiliki pelemahan sensitivitas  sinyal penerimaan radio frekuensi yang cukup significan. Dari hasil percobaan membuktikan bahwa received signal strength index (RSSI) akan berkurang 14 dBm bila reader diletakan dekat dengan permukaan logam. RSSI adalah sebuah pendekatan cermat untuk optimasi jarak dan sudut antara pemancar (tag) dan penerima (reader). Dari hasil percobaan  menunjukan pula bahwa bukan hanya jarak, sudut maupun logam yang mempengaruhi besaran nilai RSSI namun besaran kendali daya pemancar (reader) agar tag aktif dalam jarak dan sudut yang telah dilokalisai. Dalam paper ini akan dijelaskan dengan singkat hubungan antara kendali daya dan RSSI dalam mengaktifasi kartu RFID (tag). Kata Kunci - RFID received signal strength index, RFID Sensitivity reading tag Abstract – RFID card (tag) and card reader are placed near metal surfaces, will be have attenation  sensititivity of receiver signal radio frequency significantly. The result of exsperiment shown that distance between the tag and the reader using the received signal strength index (RSSI) will be reduce by 14 dBm from the beginning when RFID card reader placed near metal surface. RSSI is an careful approach to optimation the distance between a sender and a receiver. The our experiments shown that power control results are more stable and accurate than RSSI results. Abstract

Abstrak  - Indonesia perlu mempersiapkan masyarakatnya agar tidak terus menerus menjadi konsumen namun menjadi produsen yang bisa bersaing di pasar global. Oleh karena itu, kami mencoba menjawab permasalahan tersebut dengan merangkul para pelajar SMA/SMK dan sederajat agar menyadari betapa pentingnya mempelajari teknologi sedari dini. Langkah awal yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pelatihan dasar flip-flop. Pelatihan ini sebagai modal awal membangun sifat kritis terhadap teknologi. Jika kepedulian telah terwujud diharapkan akan membawa perubahan untuk kemajuan IPTEK di Indonesia. Flip flop pada pelatihan ini adalah rangkaian lampu yang dapat menyala secara bergantian atau kedap kedip seperti layaknya lampu hias sehingga bisa memberikan nilai keindahan pada area disekelilingnya. Cara pembuatan rangkaian lampu flip flop ini sangatlah mudah. Namun dibutuhkan ketelitian dan juga ketekunan dalam membuatnya. Kata Kunci – Teknologi, Flip-Flop, Lampu Hias, Seven Segmen Abstract - Indonesia needs to prepare its society not to continue to be a consumer but a producer that can compete in global market. Therefore, we try to answer the problem by embracing the students of Senior High School / Vocational High School and equal to realize how important to learn technology early on. The first step that can be done is through basic flip-flop training. This training as an initial capital builds a critical nature of technology. If the concern has been realized it is expected to bring changes to the progress of science and technology in Indonesia. Flip flop in this training is a series of lights that can be alternated or alternatively blinking like an ornamental light so that it can give a beauty value in the area around.
