Abstract

This research was conducted in the village of Pare-Pare Hilir, District Marbau, North Labuhanbatu District, North Sumatra province with a height of ± 54 m above sea level for 3 months. The method used was a randomized block design (RAK) factorial combination with 12 treatments and 3 replications, factor Gandasil-D leaf manure consists of 4 levels, namely: D0 = without treatment, D1 = 2 g / liter of water, D2 = 3 grams / liter water, D3 = 4 g / liter of water, while the Liquid Organic Fertilizer EM4 factor consists of 3 levels, namely : E0 = Without treatment, E1 = 10 ml / liter of water, E2 = 12 ml / liter of water. The parameters observed namely plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), the number of branches (stalks), number of pods containing cropping (g), the heavy weight of 100 grains seeds (g), the amount of production per plot (g). Treatment provision leaf manure Gandasil-D very significant effect on the parameters number of branches, number of pods per plant contains, and the amount of production per plot, whereas no real influence on the parameters of plant height, leaf number and weight of 100 grains weight of seed. Treatment of Liquid Organic Fertilizer EM4 administration showed a significant influence on the parameters of plant height and number of branches, but there is also a significant effect on the parameters of the number of pods per plant and the amount of production per plot. While there was no significant effect on the parameters of the number of leaves, and the heavy weight of 100 grains of seeds. Interaction between Leaf Fertilizer Gandasil-D and Liquid Organic Fertilizer EM4 did not give the significant effect on all parameters observed. Abstract

Palm oil is quite important commodities in Indonesia and still have a bright prospect.Success in oil palm breeding depends on the ratio of growing media and fertilizer on a regular basis starting from the early seedling stage. For that a study This study was conducted in Village Pangkatan C, Labuhanbatu District, with altitude of ± 50 meters above sea level. The study used randomized block design with 2 factors that comparisons planting medium consisted of four levels ie M0 = Top Soil (Control), M1 = Top soil, manure (3: 1), M2 = Top soil, sand (3: 1) and M3 = Top soil, manure, sand (3: 1: 1). Plant fertilizer concentrations Catalyst 2006 consists of four levels ie C0 = 0 grams / liter of water (control), C1 = 1 gram / liter of water, C2 = 2 grams / liter of water and C3 = 3 grams / liter of water. Parameters measured were seedling height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf area and total wet weight of the seeds.The result showed that treatment comparison planting medium high influence on seedling ages of 30, 60 and 90 days after planting, leaf number and fresh weight of seedlings. Plant fertilizer concentrations Catalyst 2006 gives effect to the plant height age 60 and 90 days after planting, stem diameter age of 90 (After deay planting), number of leaves, and the weight of wet seeds. While the interaction between treatment comparisons of growing media and fertilizer concentrations Plant Catalyst 2006 paramerter only real effect on plant height at 30 (After deay planting). Abstract

Effect Storage In Criopreservasi On Type And Old South Crioprotektan Different Conditions Of Seeds Against Viability of Mangosteen Seeds (Garcinia mangostana L.). The aim of the study was to determine the type, duration of soaking and the different conditions of mangosteen seeds and their interaction with the viability of mangosteen seeds (Garcinia mangostana L.). This research was carried out at the Laboratory of Applied Sciences in Seed Technology of Labuhanbatu College of Agricultural Sciences (STIPER), starting March to July 2018, using factorial randomized block design with 3 treatment factors namely cryoprotectant type, cryoprotectant immersion and mangosteen fruit flesh. Parameters observed were normal sprouts (%), abnormal sprouts (%), dead seeds (%). The results showed that the highest application of the parameters was the use of non-fruit flesh with cryoprotectant PVS2 and 180 minutes soaking time. The results of the research were used to develop mangosteen seed storage for the needs of the community, especially mangosteen farmers in Indonesia. Abstract

Celery (Apium graveolens L.) is a vegetable plant that has long been known in Indonesia. Celery plants have many benefits. Celery plants come from Europe, especially in the Mediterranean region around the Mediterranean Sea. This plant spreads to the Plains of China, India, Central Asia, Ethiopia, South and Central Mexico and the United States the influence of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of celery plants on peat media. This research was conducted on Kenanga Street, Teluk Panji IV, Kampung Rakyat Subdistrict, Labuhan Batu Selatan Regency, at an altitude of ± 23 m above sea level. This activity will be carried out from February 2019 to May 2019. The design used is a randomized single factor group design that is with NPK fertilizer dosage: Treatment P0: (control), P1: (5 g / plant) P2: (10 g / plant ). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tillers, harvest weight (g). From the results of data analysis it was found that the effect of NPK Phonska fertilizer (15; 15; 15) can increase the growth of celery plant. The highest plant height (11.93 cm) Number of leaves (6.5 strands) Number of tillers (8.66) Weight of harvest (17.5 g). NPK Phonska fertilizer (15; 15; 15) is recommended with a dose of P2: (10 g / plant). Keywords : Celery (Apium graveolens L.), NPK, Peat Soil

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the level of income, to determine the level of profitability of vegetable farming and to find out whether the farming is feasible to run. This study uses the proportionated stratified random sampling method. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression and R / C analysis. The results showed that simultaneously the factors that influence vegetable farming income had a significant effect on income at a trust level of 89%. Partially, fertilizer costs, pesticide costs, labor costs, education levels, and prices have a significant effect on income. The income contribution of vegetable farmers to the total income of farmer families is 80.02%. The value of R / C is 2.54, which means that vegetable farming is feasible financially. Abstract

Sweet corn is one of the commodity crops that can take part in the development of agriculture weed is a plant that no wants to grow. The presence of weed in the corn plants causes the plant productivity down. The research aims to know the effects of growing distances and weeds on the produce of sweet corn. This study was carried out in the village of Asam Jawa, Torgamba sub-district, South Labuhanbatu Regency in January until March 2018. The design used is the randomized design of the group. There are three diffrent types of plant distances that are 75 cm x 25 cm, 50 cm x 25 cm, 50 cm x 25 cm with a combination of treatment without broadcast,it is spent 7 days after planting, 14 days after palnting, 21 days after growing and clean investigation during research.The number of deuteronomy consists of 3 and each of the deuteronomy consists of 73 plants and file obtained by the method of rate. The research has shown that the high plants highest plant is found at 60 cm x 25 cm (J2) and the lowest found at 50 cm x 25 cm (J3). The number of leaves are much the same in every plants distances. The largest diameter of the stems is foud at 60 cm x 25 cm (J2) and a small diameter of the smallest stick is found at 50 cm x 25 cm (J3). The biggest weed is gained at a distance of 75 cm x 25 cm (J1) and the size of the smallest weed is foud at 50 cm x 25 cm (J3). The largest yields of corn comes at a distance of 60 cm x 25 cm (J2) and the least amount of corn is found at a distance of 50 cm x 25 cm (J3). Keywords : growing distance, sweet corn, weed

Abstract

One of the factors that determine the quality of chilli pepper seedlings is fertility of growing of medium. Fertility of growing medium can be incrase with fertilization, by using of Urea fertilizer and of KCl fertilizer be expected to increase chilli pepper seedlings. This research was carried out in Dewi Sartika, Rantau Selatan Sub District of West Labuhanbatu, East of nort Sumatera Utara in March until June 2015 using randomize complete block design with two factors. The first factor used Urea fertilizer (0, 1.5, 2.5, 3gr/polibag), and the second factor used of KCl fertilizer (1, 2, 3gr/polibag). Parameter observed were plant height, stem diameter, weight of the fruit crop samples, and heavy fruit perplot. From the research of Urea fertilizer very significant effect on all parameters of KCl fertilizer very significant weight of the fruit crop samples and weight fruit/plot. Interaction of Urea fertilizer and KCl fertilizer significant weight of the fruit crop samples and very significant weight of fruit/plot. The result from this experimental were obtained in the treatment of Urea fertilizer Urea fertilizer application (U3) and of KCl fertilizer application (K3). Abstract

One factor that determines the quality of chili seeds is growing media fertility. Fertility of growing media can be improved by fertilization therefore, through the application of NPK 15.15.15 fertilizer and liquid organik fertilizer blue elbow is expected to increase the growth of pepper plants. The research design used was factorial randomized block design with two factors studied, the first factor was NPK 15.15.15 (N) and organik fertilizer liquid blue eagle (M) with 12 combinations. The treatment of NPK 15.15.15 is N0 = 0 gr / polybag, N1 = 10 gr / polybag, N2 = 20 g / polybag and N3 = 30 g / polybag, while the organik liquid liquefaction of blue eagle is M0 = 0 ml / l water, M1 = 2 ml / l water, M2 = 3 ml / l water. The observed parameters were plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), flowering plant age (day), and sample plant grain weight (gr). The result of this research showed that NPK 15.15.15 fertilizer on red curly plants showed very significant effect on plant height and real to fruit weight but not significant on the age of stalk and stem diameter. The treatment of liquid organik fertilizer of blue eagle on plants showed significant differences in the age of neonrophytic flowering plants not significant in stem diameter, fruit weight, and plant height. The interaction between NPK 15.15.15 fertilizer and liquid organik fertilizer of blue eagle showed no significant difference in all parameters observed. Abstract

The study aimed to determine the response of giving MOL (Micro Local Organisms) to the growth of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescensL.) On peat media. The research was carried out in the villages of Sempurna, Aek Tapa, Rantauprapat, North Sumatra at the beginning of April to July 2018. The materials used for conducting the research were cayenne seeds, peat soil, bamboo shoot MOL, polybags, water. The tools used for the research are hoes, machetes, ropes, meters, scissors, saws, knives, liters and writing instruments. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) method with one factorial. This research was divided into 4 treatments which were repeated 10 times, namely: M0: Control, M1: Giving MOL as much as 1 liter / repeat, M2: Giving MOL as much as 1.5 liters / repetition, M3: Giving MOL as much as 2 liters / repetition. Micro Application of Local Organisms Bamboo shoots can increase the growth of cayenne. Giving Micro Bamboo 1 Local Organisms 1 liters gives a good response to the high growth of chili plants with the highest achievement of 1.98 cm difference. Giving Micro Bamboo Local Organisms 1 liters bamboo shoots gave a good response to the stem diameter of cayenne pepper with the highest achievement of the highest difference of 2.80 mm. Giving Micro Local Organisms bamboo shoots 2 liters give a good response to the number of leaves of cayenne pepper with the achievement of the highest difference of 13 strands. Abstract

Patchouli (PogostemoncablinBenth) is a plant that has been known to take oil extraction. One of the patchouli propagation techniques is cuttings. This research aims to get the best consentration of induced of Patchouli root. The research was conducted in STIPER Labuhanbatufrom January 2017 to June 2017. The plant material was Patchouli at the cuttings with a bud. The results showed that the best concentration to obtain a high percentage of life (90%), root length (22.27 cm) and the highest number of roots (5.03 units) in patchouli plants was treated with a 25 ppm IBA immersion.
