Abstract

Sejak tahun 2019, BAN S/M telah menerapkan IASP 2020 yang sistem penilaiannya lebih kompleks dari pedoman akreditasi sebelumnya. Penerapan IASP 2020 akan berdampak pada nilai akreditasi SMK Katolik Kefamenanu. Manajemen sekolah pada SMK Katolik berbasis IASP 2020 belum maksimal. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pendampingan yang optimal terkait instrument penilaian IASP 2020. Tahapan metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian ini, yakni tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menujukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa butir yang secara konkret sudah dilakasanakan kegiatannya namun tidak terdokumentasikan secara baik. Butir-butir yang dimaksud adalah butir 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 16, 20, 21, dan 23.

Abstract

Narcotics are substances or drugs that are natural, synthetic, or semi-synthetic which causes a loss of consciousness, hallucinations, and excitability. Excessive use of these drugs can cause addiction, decreased consciousness, changes in brain cells, decreased quality of life, and can even lead to death. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the challenges in handling and preventing drugs were higher and it can impact the difficult economic conditions that allow people to use drugs. The social impact of the pandemic has also led to increased inequality, poverty, and impaired mental health conditions that could encourage more people to use drugs. Drug abuse among adolescents increases. This community service aims to increase the knowledge of the young generation of youth groups in RW 07 Kaliancar Village about the dangers caused by drug use. This activity is carried out using the counseling method. Evaluation of counseling activities in this service can increase the knowledge of the younger generation about the dangers of drug use, both in the short term and in the long term.

Abstract

Burns are a form of tissue damage or loss that occurs due to contact with heat sources such as fire, boiling water, hot oil, electric shock and chemicals. One way to overcome the problem so as not to cause casualties is to provide health education about the first treatment of burns. One of the ways to do health education is by using poster media. Poster is one of the health education media that uses pictures accompanied by writing in an attractive and easy to understand form.This service aims to determine whether the effect of health education with poster media on the skills of first handling burns in the household. The method used in this service is Health Education using Poster media. with participants totaling 45 respondents. The pre-test score for the first burn wound treatment skill with adequate category was 0 people (0%), enough category was 0 people (0%), less category was 45 people (100%). Meanwhile, the post-test scores for the first burn wound management skills were in the adequate category as many as 35 people (77.8%), the sufficient category as many as 10 people (22.2%), and the less category as many as 0 people (0%). Based on these values, it can be concluded that there is an effect of health education with poster media on the skill level of first handling burns

Abstract

The case of covid-19 that occurred in Indonesia spread widely throughout the community, WHO has declared covid-19 as a world pandemic. The government continues to urge all components of society to work together in dealing with COVID-19. This service activity is carried out to educate the community, especially at the level of the community unit, by conducting socialization and distributing questionnaires to 30 residents who are in RW 03 Barusari Village. The purpose of community activities is to increase community participation in overcoming COVID-19 and see the level of community understanding. The results of distributing questionnaires on community service found that aspects of knowledge, perceptions, attitudes, community readiness, family support, support from community leaders, and good community behavior. So seeing this condition, it is hoped that the residents of RT 03 can help the government in preventing the spread of COVID-19.Keywords: covid-19, attitude, behavior, family support, community support.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang sering dialami oleh lansia yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor antara lain jenis kelamin, keturunan, usia, pola makan yang tidak sehat, obesitas, dan aktivitas yang kurang. Pada kelompok lansia di wilayah RW 6 Kalijudan didapatkan  lansia menderita Hipertensi dengan berbagai keluhan, kurang memahami pengobatan dan perawatan hipertensi, nyeri tengkuk serta kekauan otot kaki. Keluhan tersebut  yang mengganggu aktifitas lansia sehingga menurunkan kualitas kehidupan kelompok lansia di wilayah tersebut. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pendidikan kesehatan dan pendampingan lansia di RW 6 Kelurahan Kalijudan  berjumlah 10  orang lansia yang terdiagnosis hipertensi serta tidak rutin mengkonsumsi obat antihipertensi. Media yang digunakan adalah leaflet, lembar observasi, tensimeter jenis manual, peralatan rendam kaki. Hasil pengabdian  yang didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan lansia tentang terapi rendam kaki air hangat dan pengaturan pola makan,  penurunan keluhan lansia dengan yang disebabkan hipertensi, penurunan  tekanan darah sistolik rata-rata 5-15 mmHg setelah diterapkan metode rendam kaki. Dari hasil pengabdian didapatkan lansia mampu mengetahui cara non farmakologi dalam menurunkaan tekanan darah, sehingga  terapi ini dapat diaplikasikan sebagai upaya terapi  yang mudah dilakukan secara mandiri oleh lansia. Pendampingan pada lansia yang beresiko hipertensi penting guna  mencegah komplikasi yang terjadi.
