Abstract

Daily activities require physical fitness so that the body can keep up with activities, as well as activities in student lectures are required to be able to attend lectures well and be supported by the vital capacity of the lungs to get maximum oxygen when inspiration and expiration and delivered throughout the body and this becomes a good indicator of lung function. The purpose of this study was to link the fitness level with the vital capacity of lungs in college students. This research method is descriptive correlative, which examines the relationship between variables using a cross-sectional approach. Data collection was carried out in the period September-October 2019, the subjects of this study were 52 final level undergraduate study program students. Examination of vital lung capacity will be measured by spirometry and fitness level is measured by Harvard step-up bench. Results: The mean value of the impurity level was 72 ± 8.84, while the mean value of vital lung capacity in this study was 3.528 ± 0.820 liters. The Spearman test was used to determine the relationship between the level of fitness and the vital capacity of the lungs, the p value was 0.000 (p <0.05) that there was a relationship between the vital capacity of the lungs and the fitness level he Spearman correlation of 0.605 indicates a positive relationship, or in other words, strong strength. Conclusion: There is a strong relationship between fitness level and lung vital capacity. The higher the fitness level of the vital lung capacity

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has experienced natural disasters due to Indonesia's geographic conditions which are included in the Ring of fire or a series of active volcanoes which often result in volcanic earthquakes and tectonic earthquakes that can cause property and life losses. This condition makes all elements of society obliged to know about preventive measures in disaster conditions, especially earthquake disasters, one of the prevention of the number of casualties during an earthquake disaster is by means of independent evacuation. The community's lack of understanding about the handling of independent evacuation, especially when an earthquake disaster can cause casualties. Students must also have an understanding of self-evacuation in order to improve preparedness and provide knowledge to the wider community. So this research is to determine the effect of independent evacuation training on earthquake disaster preparedness by using a research sample of 110 students conducted in august 2020 by following health protocol because it is still a covid pandemic 19. This type of research is a quasi experimental design with one group pre and posttest with data analysis methods using Wilcoxon showing the p value = 0.000 (p value <0.05) with the results of the research showing that before training was not ready 75%, less ready 35%, ready 0%, and after training the category of not ready is 0%, 14 people are not ready or 13%, and those who are ready are 96 respondents or 86%. So showing independent evacuation training can improve student preparedness against earthquakes.

Abstract

Background: The main problem in taekwondo athletes is the lack of knowledge and skills in handling sprain injuries using the PRICE technique. Protection, Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation is a non-pharmacological therapy for the treatment of sprains. Sprain injury handling skills with PRICE can be taught to anyone, especially taekwondo athletes through Instagram media and training on simulation methods so that they have good skills in handling sprain injuries. This study aims to determine the effect of education through Instagram media and simulations on the skills of handling sprain injuries in taekwondo athletes. Methods: The research used quasi-experimental design which involve pre-posttest with control group. The population was Taekwondo athlete community in Central Java. Samples were selected with total sampling technique. Subjects were 68 respondents consisting of 34 in each group obtained by simple random sampling technique. Education using video, leaflet and simulation provided to the control group, while the treatment group obtained material via instagram story, reels, videos, captions on Instagram and simulation. The measurement of Sprain injury management skills was using observation sheet. Mann whiney test performed the analysis. Results: The results showed that sprain injury management skills score increases significantly in those two groups (p-value:0.000; α;0.05). The treatment group showed a higher increases of that sprain injury management skills than control group. Conclusion: The finding highlights education using instagram and simulation is effective to increasing sprain injury management skills of Taekwondo athlete. It is recommended to apply instagram and simulation in order to upgrading the skills.

Abstract

Sprain are acute injuries that occur to the ligaments. Therefore, there is a requirement for health education by performing appropriate first aid using the audiovisual method. An educational media uses the senses of hearing and sight to facilitate the delivery of exciting material. This study adopted a quasi-experiment with one group pre-test and post-test without control design. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling with the total sampling technique of 20 futsal players. Respondents' knowledge of Sprain first aid in the pre-intervention was in the poor category with 11 respondents (55%). In the post-intervention, 17 respondents (85%) had good knowledge of Sprain first aid. The Wilcoxon test results presented the knowledge level of Sprain first aid in futsal players with p-value = 0.000 (p-value <0.05). Therefore, there was an effect of health education about Sprain first aid with audiovisual media on the knowledge level of futsal players in Surakarta. .

Abstract

AbstrakAsuhan Keperawatan menjadi kompetensi yang penting bagi mahasiswa keperawatan karena merupakan langkah kerja penyelesaian kesehatan pasien saat mahasiswa masuk dalam pendidikan klinik. Kompetensi ini salah satunya diajarkan melalui metode PBL dengan tujuan belajar yang dirumuskan mahasiswa atau disebut dengan student learning outcome. Namun pada student learning outcome, mahasiswa masih kurang merumuskan tentang asuhan keperawatan karena lebih banyak membahas tentang konten ilmu kedokteran dan bidang kesehatan lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi student learning outcome (SLO) pada buku blok tutorial yang terkait dengan asuhan keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan content analysis. Objek penelitian ini adalah buku pandun tutorial dan laporan tutorial mahasiswa keperawatan angkatan tahun kedua, ketiga dan keempat. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis konten SLO. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 koder peneliti yang akan menganalisisi seluruh objek penelitian. Presentasi SLO yang dirumuskan pada konten kalimat keperawatan didapatkan hanya 20% sedangkan yang lainya termasuk pembahasan dengan konten kalimat kedokteran. Konten kalimat kedokteran banyak dibahas dalam diskusi tutorial mahasiswa pada pembelajaran PBL dan dirumuskan sebagai SLO. Kata Kunci : Proses Asuhan Keperawatan, Student Learning Outcome  Student Learning Outcome Evaluation of Nursing Care in the Nursing Undergraduate Study Program at Stikes Surya GlobalAbstractNursing care is an important competency for nursing students because it is a step in the completion of patient health when students in clinical education. In tutorials, students are still lacking to formulate nursing care for the students learn more about the content of medical science and other health fields..This study aimed to determine the student learning outcome on the nursing careblock book. This study used qualitative methods with content analisys. The object of this study was the student tutorial block book and tutorial reports. This study analyzed the contents of SLO about the content of the process of nursing care. Three coders analyzed the entire document research. The SLO presentation which was formulated in the content of nursing sentences was only 20% while the others included discussion with the content of medical sentences. The content of medical sentences is widely discussed in discussions of student tutorials on PBL learning and is formulated as student learning outcome (slo). Abstract

Latar Belakang : Salah satu intervensi yang dilakukan oleh perawat di pelayanan intensif adalah pemberian mobilisasi progresif. Namun pentingnya pemantauan hemodinamika pada pasien kritis maka perlu diperhatikan dalam memberikan mobilisasi progresif. Tujuan : Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh mobilisasi progresif terhadap status hemodinamik pada pasien kritis di ICU RSUD Karanganyar. Metode : Desain penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan pre- post without control design. Pengukuran dengan lembar observasi untuk menilai Heart Rate (HR), Respiratory Rate (RR), saturasi oksigen (Sa ), Tekanan Darah dan Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) sebelum dan sesudah diberikan mobilisasi progresif. Pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling, sejumlah 19 responden. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan pada bulan oktober 2018. Hasil : Hasil analisis bivariat didapatkan ada perbedaan bermakna antara Heart Rate (HR), Respiratory Rate (RR), saturasi oksigen (Sa ), Tekanan Darah (BP) dan Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) sebelum dan sesudah mobilisasi progresif dengan dengan p value 0,000 dan 0,037 (p < 0,05). Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan mobilisasi progresif tetap diberikan pada pasien kritis untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien dengan memperhatikan status hemodinamika pasien. Terjadi peningkatan status hemodinamik setelah dilakukan mobilisasi progresif dalam batas normal. Simpulan : Mobilisasi progresif berpengaruh meningkatkan status hemodinamik pada pasien kritis.

Abstract

Earthquakes in Indonesia cause physical damage as well as fatalities, high mortality rates and disability when an earthquake occurs, it is necessary to reduce or prevent it by increasing people's knowledge and skills about how to evacuate during an earthquake. Earthquakes that are not resolved with resilience and lack of human resources that can handle earthquakes from pre-disaster, during disaster and post-disaster. Earthquakes are caused by the movement of the Earth's crust (Earth's plates). The frequency of a region, refers to the type and size of earthquakes experienced over a period of time. Earthquakes are measured using a seismometer. Moment magnitude is the most common scale where earthquakes occur throughout the world so that the community is demanded to be prepared, one of which is evacuation during a disaster which is held by evacuation counseling in Wonorejo Village, Karanganyar. earthquake with pre-test data 75% of the residents did not know and after counseling and post-testing it was found that 90% of the residents understood the skills and knowledge of evacuation during an earthquake. with the lack of knowledge and skills of residents regarding evacuation during an earthquake, it is very appropriate for residents to understand when an earthquake occurs

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Post Partum Blues merupakan kesedihan yang dialami ibu setelah melahirkan biasanya muncul sementara waktu yakni sekitar dua hari hingga dua minggu setelah melahirkan. Terapi tertawa merupakan terapi non farmakologi untuk mencapai kegembiraan di dalam hati yang dikeluarkan melalui mulut dalam bentuk suara tawa.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi tertawa terhadap tingkat depresi pada ibu post partum blues.Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian quasi experiment dengan pendekatan pre test and post test nonequivalent control group. Populasi adalah ibu post partum di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sibela Surakarta yaitu 40 Ibu post partum. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Hasil Hasil uji wilcoxon terdapat penurunan tingkat depresi antara nilai pre test dan post test kelompok perlakuan dengan nilai p value 0,003 dan hasil uji mann whitney bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat depresi pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol dengan nilai p value 0,002. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh terapi tertawa terhadap tingkat depresi pada ibu post partum blues di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sibela. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, terapi tertawa dapat menjadi salah satu intervensi untuk ibu post partum blues.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDampak dari penyakit stroke dapat menyebabkan perubahan citra tubuh pada pasien pasca stroke. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi gangguan citra tubuh adalah dengan adanya dukungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan gangguan citra tubuh pada pasien pasca stroke. Jenis rancangan penelitian dengan diskriptif korelasi pada 68 Responden pada pasien Pasca Stroke ringan sampai sedang dengan kecacatan fisik di RSUD Pandan Arang Boyolali. Dukungan keluarga diukur menggunakan Body Image Questionnare (BIQ) dan analisa data dengan uji korelasi Kendal Tau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden dengan dukungan keluargan baik dan mengalami gangguan citra tubuh positif sebanyak 8 responden (18,97%), negatif sebanyak 12 responden (28,08%). Responden dengan dukungan keluargan cukup baik dan mengalami gangguan citra tubuh positif sebanyak 34 responden (42,79%), negatif sebanyak 14 responden (10,16 %). Hasil analisa bivariate didapatkan P value= 0,000 dengan koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,508. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ada Hubungan yang signifikan antara Dukungan keluarga dengan Gangguan Citra Tubuh pada Pasien pasca Stroke dengan arah kekuatan positif dan kekuatan hubungan sedang. One of the treatments for body image disturbance is family support. This research aims to determine the correlation between family support and body image disturbance of post-stroke patients. Type of research design with descriptive correlation on 68 Respondents in patients Post-stroke mild to moderate with physical disability in General Hospital of Boyolali Region . Family support is measured using Body Image Questionnare (BIQ) and data analysis by correlation test. The result of this research showed that there were 8 respondents (18.97%) who got good family support and positive body image disturbance, whereas, there were 12 respondents (28.08%) who got good family support and negative body image disturbance. Meanwhile, respondents who got good enough family support and positive body image disturbance were 34 respondents (42.79%), whereas, respondents who got good enough family support and negative body image were 14 respondents (10.16%). On the other hands, the P value was 0.000 and correlation coefficient (r) was 0.508. Abstract

Pembelajaran dalam praktik klinik merupakan komponen penting dalam pendidikan keperawatan mengingat keperawatan merupakan profesi berbasis praktik. Pembelajaran praktik klinik oleh mahasiswa keperawatan memerlukan adanya pengembangan metode yang dapat mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk dapat mengasah keterampilannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas modul basic airway management berbasis guided inquiry learning model terhadap keterampilan mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan quasi experimental dalam bentuk nonequivalent pretes-postest group design. 50 responden dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, 25 responden pada kelompok eksperimen, sedangkan 25 responden pada kelompok kontrol. Keterampilan sebelum perlakuan pada kelompok kontrol dinyatakan lulus sebanyak 3 responden (12%) dan kelompok intervensi sebanyak 6 responden (24%). Keterampilan setelah dilakukan perlakuan pada kelompok kontrol dinyatakan lulus sebanyak 11 responden (44%) dan kelompok intervensi sebanyak 15 responden (66%). Data dalam penelitian dianalisis dengan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 dimana hasil ini menyatakan bahwa Modul Berbasis Guided Inquiry Learning Model cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa. Learning in clinical practice is an important component in nursing education considering that it is a practice-based profession. Learning clinical practice by students requires the development of methods that can prepare students to hone their skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the basic airway management module based on the guided inquiry learning model on the skills of students. This study was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental form of nonequivalent pretest-posttest group design. 50 respondents were selected by purposive sampling technique, 25 respondents were in the experimental group, while 25 respondents were in the control group. Before receiving the treatments, 3 respondents (12%) in the control group and 6 respondents (24%) were passed the skills. After receiving the treatment, as many as 11 respondents (44%) in the control group and 15 respondents (66%) the intervention group could pass the skills. The data in the study were analyzed by the Mann-Whitney test. The test results showed the value of p = 0.000 which stated that the Guided Inquiry Learning Model-Based Module is quite effective for improving student skills.
