Abstract

In designing structures such as portals, planning generally does not take into account filler components such as bricks as structural components, only considered non-structural components / flat sharing loads. In fact, the infill wall is composed of bricks with mortars which have a certain strength and rigidity. As a result, when an earthquake occurs, the most damage is to buildings with brick infill walls In this study, two types of high-level building floors were made, namely 5 floors and 10 floors with 2 structural models of each level, namely the open and closed portal structure models that function as hotels using soft soil types in the Padang area, so the total structure model 2 structural models will be analyzed. The thickness of the wall is assumed to be an arrangement of half-brick walls with three barriers and four barriers. In the analysis of the brick wall structure is modeled as a diagonal compressed bracing equivalent to a brick wall (full brick) and then compared to a brick wall which is considered a flat sharing dead load (open portal). To analyze the behavior of this multi-story building structure, a Non-Linear (Pushover) static analysis will be carried out with the SAP 2000 assistance program. The results of the study showed the influence of strength and stiffness of the brick wall for the 5-way portal x was obtained by 71%, for the Y direction by 65%, while the 10-floor portal for x direction obtained the value of the brick wall stiffness by 58%, Y direction by 48%, and for portal 15 floors obtained strength and stiffness value of X direction by 52%, and for Y direction by 41%. The results of the study also showed that the structure of a closed portal with a brick wall has a better structural behavior compared to an open frame portal structure, this is indicated in the deviation value, a closed portal structure has a smaller value than an open portal structure. From the comparison of closed portal structures with brick walls, it can be concluded that the value of the rigidity of a structure is influenced by the span length and thickness of the brick wall. The bigger and thicker the dimensions of the brick wall, the greater the strength and stiffness values affect a reinforced concrete structure. This can be seen in the results of the ATC-40 pushover curve value, the value of the X direction brick wall with a span length of 5 m is greater than the value of the Y direction brick wall with a span length of 4 m.

Abstract

In a construction project there are various stages related to construction management, in which there are various problems regarding the management of costs and time off work so that in its implementation we need a system for cost management and time management so that in its implementation, the project can be completed on time as planned and the costs incurred according to the needs of the project being worked on. In writing this article the main study is, how is the project performance in terms of cost and time, how is the application of EVA (Earned Value Analysis) to predict the costs and the final time of completion of the project, are there any advantages or disadvantages that may occur in the completion of a construction project PT Graha Praja Kencana Residential Building in Ceguk Village, Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency? To answer this problem, a qualitative approach with a descriptive type was conducted. Sources of data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation with respondents, namely consultants, contractors, and the Director of PT Graha Praja Kencana. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that shows that the costs incurred are lower than the planned budget, the time of project implementation according to the schedule from the initial planning, the costs incurred every week from week 1 to week 9 experienced a very significant increase, and the profits obtained by the contractor until the end of the project starting from the first week to the 9th week of Rp. Rp. 8,978,737.20.

Abstract

Pasuruan Regency is one of the regions in Indonesia which is precisely located in the province of East Java. With a very rapid economic development will certainly affect the flow of traffic, especially at the intersection. One of the most populous intersections is the Srikandi Four Intersection which is located in Pandaan District. To improve safety at an intersection, traffic management is necessary. This study aims to analyze the performance of the intersection by using the MKJI calculation and calculate the area of the Special Stop Room (RHK) of a motorcycle that refers to the Guidelines for Designing Motorcycle RHK at a Signed Intersection in the Urban Area planned on Jalan R.A. Kartini and Jalan A. Yani. The method used to plan the RHK of this motorcycle uses quantitative descriptive methods and qualitative descriptive methods. Intersection performance results obtained from calculations for the existing conditions of the North approach capacity (Jalan Urip Sumoharjo) 252 pcu / hour, queue length 131 m, degree of saturation of 0.85. Eastern approach capacity (Jalan Pahlawan Sunaryo) 265 pcu / hour, queue length 146 m, degree of saturation 0,85. South approach capacity (Jalan R.A. Kartini) 579 pcu / hour, queue length 134 m, degree of saturation of 0.85. The Western approach capacity (Jalan A. Yani) is 730 pcu / hour, the queue length is 104 m, the degree of saturation is 0.85, while the average delay is 59.10 seconds / pcu. From the performance analysis of the intersection, the length of the RHK motorcycle for the R.A. Kartini is 11.5 meters long, while for Jalan A. Yani it is 10.3 meters long.

Abstract

Indonesia is an area prone to earthquakes. Earthquakes caused by the movement of the earth's plates are the biggest cause of earthquakes that will cause damage to the building structure. Earthquakes occurring in Indonesia often cost lives. However, it is certain that the cause of the loss of life is not directly caused by the earthquake, but caused by the destruction of the building that caused the collapse in the building.The purpose of writing the research is to determine the performance criteria of the university building's seismic performance from the performance point value using the ATC-40 code, showing the melamine scheme (plastic joint distribution) occurring from the calculation of the software program, knowing the collapse pattern of the building so it can be known the joints Suffered damage and suffered destruction of pushover analysis.From the results of the study, the structure of the building is able to provide nonlinear behavior indicated by the initial phase and the majority of plastic joints occur in new beam elements and then column elements. The performance level of the structure enters the criterion of operational which means that minor structural and building damage can be reused immediately.

Abstract

The construction of Hundred Residence Apartment Jl. Raya Gubeng No. 102-106, Surabaya will provide an additional volume of traffic that burdens the streets around Jl. Raya Gubeng. Referring to these conditions, this final project research aims to explain about how the performance of the affected road for existing conditions, then due to the generation of Hundred Residence Apartments within the period of the plan and provide advice related to traffic management and engineering to minimize the occurrence of decreased service levels and performance intersections in the area around development. This thesis research uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods that refer to the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). From the results of the analysis it is concluded that the worst performance that ranks first is at the intersection of Jl. Pandegiling - Jl. Dinoyo - Jl. Keputran - Jl. Sulawesi. The existing conditions in 2019 have shown poor performance with the value of LOS E at peak hours in the afternoon and the average deviation delay value of 53.71 seconds / smp, then the analysis of conditions in the predicted year of 2026 shows a declining performance with LOS values F at the peak hour of the afternoon and the average intersection delay value of 178.92 seconds / junior high. This should be a concern so that later the existence of apartments does not add a negative impact on the performance of traffic around the development area. For this reason, traffic management and engineering needs to be done both inside and outside the apartment area to anticipate problems that are expected to emerge.

Abstract

Hospital Dr. R. Soedarsono is the only government-owned hospital and first in the city of Pasuruan, so this hospital is indirectly the main reference for residents. Parking space needs for hospital visitors motorcycle users are influenced by 2 things, among others: 1) Parking land users are indeed hospital visitors aiming for the needs of the hospital, 2) Parking land users are indeed non hospital visitors who deliberately leave their vehicles for purposes other than the hospital. Other needs such as entrusting vehicles to get out of the city, to the office and work in companies outside the city of Pasuruan, etc. This happens because the location of the strategic hospital is on the inter-city public transportation lane, triggering non-hospital visitors to leave their motorbikes. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of motorcycle user parking and to determine the characteristics of motorcycle users in the hospital. The research data collection method is by recording the number of motorcycle plates that enter and exit complete with time, as well as directly asking the needs of parking visitors. The research was carried out for 7 days / 1 week, whereas in 24 hours of sampling throughout the day starting at 06.00-06.00 WIB. The results of this study show: (1) 3353 vehicles entering parking conditions, there are 2917 visitors parking visitors and 436 non-hospital parking users, (2) the highest volume on Thursday 613 vehicles, (3) the highest accumulation of parking on Thursday at 19.00 - 20.00 as many as 340 vehicles and the average maximum accumulation value of 287 vehicles while there are 267 SRP, it is concluded that the accumulation of parking exceeds the area of the parking space unit, (4) the highest parking duration is vulnerable time 120-180 minutes, (5) the number of parking changes an average 1.79 vehicle / parking lot means that for one parking lot serving more than one vehicle, (6) the parking index is an average of 107.54%, so parking facilities are said to be problematic because ip> 100%. for that it is necessary to increase the area of parking or the creation of new parking spaces with vertical parking (multi-storey parking).

Abstract

The bicycle lane policy on the Darmo Highway - Urip Sumoharjo Street - Basuki Rahmat Street - Suryo Governor Street - Panglima Sudirman Street Surabaya City for 8,789 Km has been implemented since 2014. The width of the bicycle lane on this corridor of 1.5 meters is on the road body. The application of bicycle lanes in the city of Surabaya is still less effective because there are still many motor vehicle users, the lack of bicycle users and the purpose of cycling is only for recreation (car free day). The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of effectiveness of the bicycle lanes in the Basuki Rahmat Jalan Surabaya corridor. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique Bicycle Level Of Service (BLOS). Data collection is done by survey and documentation. The results of the BLOS analysis that Monday, Saturday and Sunday BLOS value is "F" more than 5.5 means that the environment is not safe for bicycles except Sunday at 06.00-08.00 BLOS value is "D" means less environment for bicycles.

Abstract

Transportation problem is one of the problems that is faced in Tasikmalaya City especially at the intersection. Congestion problems and traffic conflicts often occur at a signal especially in intersection on Siliwangi road Tasikmalaya. One of the efforts made to reduce traffic conflicts and optimize the performance of the junction is by setting up the junction and optimizing the Simpang. The purpose of this research is to know the performance of intersection on Siliwangi road Tasikmalaya and provide recommendations for precise handling, as well as analyzing the traffic conflicts that occurred in the junction. The method used in the performance analysis of the junction signal is to use the calculations in the PKJI 2014, while for analysis of traffic conflicts used to determine the severity of the conflict at the intersection on Siliwangi road Tasikmalaya is using the method Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT). After analysis, the performance in the intersection on Siliwangi road Tasikmalaya Tasikmalaya has approached the critical number of the degree of saturation (DS) of 0.7 with level D. In addition to these problems, there is a traffic conflict crossing as many as 230 events (55%), merging as many as 145 events (35%) and diverging as many as 41 occurrences (10%). With the handling and recommendation of phase setting and cycle time setting, it is proven to suppress and minimize the decline of junction performance level to C level with the value of saturation of 0.58. Abstract

Phase determination and traffic control systems are usually more emphasized at locations where road intersections or intersections occur. Because at the meeting of two or more roads this results in a point of conflict that ultimately results in traffic jams. The purpose of this study is to overcome the traffic congestion on Jalan Menur Pumpungan required a good traffic regulation in terms of the level of service and safety for motorists. The method used unsigned intersection performance in this study refers to the source of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997). The results of this study indicate the degree of saturation of the Menur Pumpungan Intersection in 2019 DS is 0.58. For forecasting the coming year in 2021 DS will be 0.75. While in 2031 DS 0.95. Level of service (Los) for each intersection in 2019 is DS = 0.58 and Los = C (Enough), in 2021 it is DS = 0.75 Los = C (Enough), while in 2031 it is DS = 1.211 and Los = D (Less).

Abstract

Wooden ships are one of the non-steel ships that are widely available in Indonesian waters, which are built using conventional methods. In this study, a survey was conducted to determine the dimensions of the construction elements on the ship's kasko from the keel to the main deck, the price of wood materials and the construction process using interview and observation methods. Existing ship data is analyzed according to the 1996 BKI Rule on wooden ships to determine the level of comparison for each element of ship construction. Existing ship construction data based on regulatory analysis is modeled to get the optimum reductions of construction dimensions. Based on the results of the technical and economic analysis of the three vessels, it is known that the two existing ships have heavier construction than the calculation according to the BKI Rules. This is influenced by differences in ivory spacing, deck beam distance, outer shell thickness and deck thickness. The size of the construction dimensions is proportional to its economic value. Therefore, to determine the optimum level of reduction in construction dimensions, structural modeling is used. In the modeling that is done, it is found that the value of the reduction in construction dimensions is 10%, 20% and 30%. This reduction was carried out because the magnitude of the stress of the three ships according to the BKI Rules was still far below the limit allowed according to BKI 12,75 N/mm2. According to the results, the recommendation for the reduction in construction dimensions is up to 20%. The  30% reductions were not recommended because the stress value is over than the stress limit. The allowable stress is 12,75 N/mm2. Based on the data, it can be conclude that the economic value also can be reduced up to 20%.
