Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious disease directly caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis is still a global health problem and is the second leading cause of death after HIV. WHO estimates that in 2011 there were 8.7 million new cases of tuberculosis (13% were co-infected with HIV) and 1.4 million people died from tuberculosis (WHO, 2012). This study aims to determine the analysis of factors associated with Risk of Pulmonary Tuberculosis at Puskesmas Kertapati Palembang City Year 2017. The research design was conducted by qualitative descriptive research method supported by analytical survey with cross-sectional survey design. Sampling technique sampling total 35 respondents at Puskesmas Kertapati Palembang, South Sumatera Province in 2017, this research was conducted on 30 June until 10 July 2017. Multiple regression logistic analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between humidity (p value 0,034) and smoking behavior (p value 0,053) with pulmonary TB incidence at Puskesmas Kertapati Palembang City 2017. Suggestions in this study is prevention by providing information or counseling to the community how prevention of pulmonary tuberculosis in the working area of Puskesmas Kertapati Palembang.

Abstract

Every person who solely aims to improve the healthiness can be considered as the human resources in aspect of Health. All the human resources, which take part in that aspect, carry the performance in one organization, both for the Head and the workers. This study is conducted in order to know the factors that are related to the performance of the health workers at Puskesmas Gandus Palembang 2017. The method of this study is analytical with research design cross sectional. The total of the samples are 35 respondents. Questionnaire is used in the data collection, as this study is a quantitative research. The Univariate, Bivariate, and Multivariate with logistic regression method is used to analyze the data. The result of the analysis by using Univariate shows that the variables of good work experience is about 45.7%, appropriate education 25.7%, teamwork 34.3%, appreciation 57,1%, and good instruction 27.7%. Analysis of Bivariate shows that the variables of work experience, education, and teamwork are not related to the performance. The variable of appreciation have a relation with the performance by having P value of 0.006 and OR value of 9.750, and the variable of instruction have also a relation with the performance by having P-value of 0.011 and OR value of 9.500. Multivariate analysis shows that the variable that is significant and strongly affects the performance is the variable of Appreciation (P ? value = 0.006, OR = 9.750). In conclusion, it is known that Appreciation is the most dominant variable that affects the performance of the Health Workers at PuskesmasGandus Palembang. It is suggested that the Head of the Puskesmas should give more appreciation and instruction so that it can increase the performance of the Health workers there.

Abstract

One type of land transportation that is in demand by the public is the train. The railways not only have a positive impact on the surrounding community, but also the possible negative impacts of air pollution due to noise and vibration. This situation will greatly affect the health of the people living around the railroad tracks. The risk of people living on the railroad tracks is hearing the noise of the passing train along with its vibrations. Noise generated by trains can cause many health problems for people living nearby, whether physical or psychic. This study aims to determine the factors related to blood pressure in pregnant women in the vicinity of the Train Track in the Working Area of Kertapati Palembang Health Center in 2017. This research is a descriptive analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The study population is all pregnant women who live around the railway track in the working area of Puskesmas Kertapati. The sample of this research is as many as 32 people. From the amount, it can be concluded that the sampling method is total sampling. Technique of taking data using questioner. Data analysis with univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression method. The result of univariate analysis, there are 81,3% younger respondent, age 62,3%, distance of home is 59,4%, old population 53,1%, not smoking 78,1%, do not consume coffee 59.4%, and normal blood pressure as much as 75%. The result of bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship for the variable of stay and work (p value> 0,05). The result of multivariate analysis got age which influence blood pressure of pregnant mother.

Abstract

The development of world?s industry both in small, medium and large scales could not ignore the role of ISO (International Standard Organization) 14000 about standard of enviromental management system. Off shore mining started to begin since the decreasing of ground mining. The rest of tin mining (tailing) contained heavy metal of Pb, Cd, and Cr. This study examines the hemoglobin levels within fishermen?s blood who caught and consumed the fish at the sea  tin mining area of Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands province on january 22 to February 15 2017. The samples of this study were the forty eight fishermen of Air Lintang village who caught and consumed the fish at the sea tin mining area, with purposive random sampling. The data were collected by taking sample off is hermen?s blood and checking the hemoglobin?s levels off is hermen with measuring scale of 14 gr/dl which fulfilled the requirement, while under 15 gr/dl did not fulfill the requirement of hemoglobin?s level, also by observation and quistionaire. . This study used the guantitative method and cross sectional. Data analysis of this research using univariate, bivariate and multivariate. The result of this study shows 25 respondents whose hemoglobin?s levels? fulfill the requirements, while 23 others from subject of bivariate chi square?s result which were taken from respondents? characteristic ages (p Value 0.081), smoking habit (p Value 0.191), working day per year (0.248) fishing distance (p Value 0.021) then there was one result of multivariate regression logistic which influences fishermen?s hemoglobin level that is fishing distance?s value sig 0.025. The mean who catch the fish with the distance. mile hemoglobin level 13.07. The fishermen who catch the fish with the distance  1 to 2 miles hemoglobin level 14.27 gr/dl, while there was no effect on the other variable because the p Value.is more than value of ?=0.05. To the fishermen of Air Lintang village not to catch the fish less than 1 mile from sea tin mining because of the low of hemoglobin level for the fishermen who catch the fish less than 1 mile distance.

Abstract

According to WHO that  prevalency acute and chronic kidney failure reached 50 %, which is known only get 25 % treatment and 12,5 % who got treatment well. In Siti Khadijah hospital Palembang has an percentage increasment of chronic renal failure patiens in hemodialysis installation has 10 % that is in 2013 patients with kidney failure  about 1,262 patients with hemodialysis action 10.387. In 2014, about 1.331 patients with 10.392 hemodialysis actions. In 2015 about 1.381 patiens with 10.868. acts of hemodialysis. In 2016 about 1430 patients with kidney failure with 10.963 hemodialysis action. The purpose of the study to determine the picture of compliance  of patients with renal failure who do hemodialysis at Siti Khadijah Hospital Palembang in 2016.. This research design is based on analytical survey with cross sectional approach using secondary data. With a population of 116 respondents. Total sample amounted to 116 respondents. The results of the study was 116 respondents, 107 people of old aged (92,2,%), 66 people of male (56,9%), 82 people of low education 70,7%), 93 people of knowledge (80%), 98 people of hoigh motivation (84,5%), 62 people of easy to reach acces service (53,4%), 96 patients with attitude response (82,8 %), 84 people with family support (75 %), 107 role nurse (92,25). 92 compliance people. In Bivariate analysis of the research variables were unrelated to the level of adherence in implementing hemodialysis placement in Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital good, compliance patient to hemodialysis implement is good and improve of quality service with periodically training.

Abstract

Caries is the main problem of oral health in children. Dental caries is a multifactorial disease as a result of the disturbed balance between the risk and protective factors. The aim of the present study was to analyze the risk factors for dental caries in female student at the goverment junior high school no. 26 Palembang. A cross-sectional dental caries examination and used total sampling forselected subject. Dental examinations based on DMFT index criteria and questionnaire surveys were performed on 114 children. All subjects have fully erupted permanent teeth and accepted as participants. The result of this study shows that there is a relationship between knowledge, maintenance of oral health, consumption of cariogenic foods, and UKGS. (p<0,05) with DMFT. It is suggested that the strict preventive and promotive programs should be implemented for decrease caries incidence rate and increase quality of life.

Abstract

          Period begins by puberty the period of change of physical change such us body shape physiological functions. Pychological changes. At the time teenagers include emotional changes.that changes like condition sensitive like easy to laughing for no reason. This research aiming for is knowing factors influencing behavior prevention sexsual teenagers in senior high school Ferdy Ferry Jambi City. Design this research in kuantitatif with use method survey analytic with like be closer cross sectional. Population this research as much 99 person. Sample this research as much 99 respondent with tecnic Purposive Sampling. Analysis this data do with analysis univariat, bivariat use test Chi-Square (a=0,05) and multivariat with use metode Regresi Logistic.          Result analyst univariat obtained for age 58,6%, gender 55,6%, knowledge 69,7%, attitude 67,7% and the role of parent 67,7% for sexsual behavior 72,7% thats good result analysis bivariat this factor for age (p=0,032), gender (p=0,012), knowledge (p=0,034), attitude (p=0,021), and the role of parent (p=0,021). This analysis result multivariat can thats gender is influence for teenager sexsual.         This result can concluded that there is take effect for age, gender, attitude and the role of parent. Suggested for school enter healt material reproduction to school study so that can being additional lessons os school extracurricular.

Abstract

Reproductive health in international conference on population development is a complete physical, mental and social well-being relating to reproduction system, function and process. For young women reproductive organs develop normally with menstuasi does not mean menstuasi show a woman has grown up but this menstruation shows the maturity of reproductive organs. Know the description of the incidence of dysmenorrhea in female students of SMP Negeri 1 Pedamaran Ogan Komering Ilir in 2017. This research uses quantitative method with cross sectional approach and analytic method. This research was conducted on January 5 to January 14, 2017 at SMP Negeri 1 Pedamaran Ogan Komering Ilir. Samples in this study were students who experienced dysmenorrhea with a total of 165 people using total sampling techniques. From result of research between some factor there is no relation between anxiety and dysmenorrhea occurrence p Value> 0,693, there is no relation between sex and hemoglobin value p value = 0.855, there is no correlation between age of menarche and incidence of dysmenorrhea Value = 0.774. From the results of the study can be concluded that there is no relationship between anxiety, nutritional status and menarche age with the incidence of dysmenorrhea. For the school of SMP Negeri 1 Pedamaran. It is expected that there will be an increase of health education for female students especially about dysmenorrhea incident.

Abstract

Hospital is health care institutions that provide full-scale personal health services that provide inpatient, outpatient and emergency care services. One of the programs that must be run is performance management which is a technique to assess HR performance. Performance or performance of an employee is distinguished in quality and quantity and generated according to the responsibilities given to him. The research design uses quantitative research method with analytical survey method with Cross Sectional approach. Population in this research as many as 45 people with technique of total sampling. Data analysis was done by univariate analysis, bivariate using Chi-Square test (? = 0,05) and multivariate with logistic regression. The result of univariate analysis was obtained for age 95,6%, gender 91,1%, education level 75,6%, work time 55,6%, training 55,6%, leadership 55,6%, and career development 53,3 %. For executive nurse performance 51.1% stated good. The result of bivariate analysis that age factor (p = 1,000), education level (p = 0,165), training (p = 0,017), leadership (p = 0,017), and career development (p = 0,003). Multivariate analysis results obtained training that affect the performance of nurses. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that there are 2 (two) factors that are not related to the performance of the nurses and there are 3 (three) factors related to the performance of the nurses. It is suggested that the performance of nurses in the Hospital of Internal Medicine of Kayuagung Hospital will be maintained and improved

Abstract

Pregnancy experienced by every woman will certainly cause many problems, both physical and psychological problems. Labor and birth are the physiological processes that accompany the lives of almost every woman. Every woman wants labor to run smoothly and can give birth to a perfect baby. There are two ways of persalian, vaginal delivery and cesarean delivery. This study aims to analyze the relationship of anxiety levels in the mother of Caesarea Presectio in the midwifery room  of Bhayangkara  Hospital Palembang  in 2017. The method  used  in this research  is  Cross-Sectional Study. The population in this study amounted to 72 patients. The sampling technique used in this study is total sampling. Data analysis with univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression method. Results of univariate analysis were obtained for education 54.8%, parity 54.8%, history of ANC 52.4%, income 45.2% and anxiety 52.4%. The result of bivariate analysis found no relation between income level (p> 0,05). The result of multivariate analysis showed an ANC history related to anxiety in Presectio Caesarea mother. It is recommended for Bhayangkara Palembang hospital to provide information about matters relating to anxiety of presectio caesarea patients so that it can be made into input to perform communication and education to minimize anxiety.
