Abstract

Porous Concrete is a type of Concrete that has a cavity in its structure that allows liquid to flow through the cavity. This study aims to determine the effect of adding Master Ease 5010 admixture on the compressive strength and absorption capacity of porous Concrete. The method used in this research is an experimental method by making different tests in the laboratory. The sample used is 10 x 20 cm with a concrete age of 28 days. The tests carried out include compressive strength testing and absorption testing. The absorption test used the falling head method based on the ACI 522R. The results of the normal compressive strength test = 0.28 Mpa, the addition of Master Ease 5010 3% = 0.31 Mpa, and the addition of Master Ease 5010 5% = 0.416 Mpa while testing the absorption of Normal Porous Concrete = 1.406 mm/s, addition of Master Ease 5010 3% = 1,946 mm/s, addition of Master Ease 5010 5% = 2.196 mm/s. From these results, it can be seen that the addition of Master Ease 5010 is able to increase the compressive strength and absorption value of porous Concrete.

Abstract

The development of technology in the transportation sector is increasingly advanced, many renewable innovations are continuously being developed. Various studies have been carried out to find the best solution for finding new innovations. The management of LLDPE plastic waste and cigarette filters into a modified asphalt mixture is an example of a renewable technology. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of adding LLDPE plastic waste and cigarette filters into the modified asphalt mixture, with a variation of 20% LLDPE and cigarette filters 5%, 10%, 15%. The results showed that the addition of the mixture to the modified asphalt, there was a decrease in the value of Stability, MQ, VIM, VMA, VFB, and Flow.

Abstract

Water is one of the basic human needs. The benefits of water resources include the provision of water for the needs of clean water, irrigation, agriculture, fisheries, etc. To know the availability of water and water needs and plan facilities that can meet these needs to know the amount, quality, provision time, location that requires water and water sources. Hamlet Dempel is located in the village of Plosogaden District Candiroto Temanggung district with a population of 770 (data 2003) with an area of 775 ha. Although the source of water comes from direct water sources the construction of clean water facilities in rural areas often experiences post-construction constraints and sustainability, thus the need to hold clean water network planning. The planning of this clean water network includes an analysis of the needs of clean water and planning a network of clean water piping gravity systems. The results of this study are; (1) The result of this analysis of clean water needs in the form of Proyeksi increase of ploso garden villagers, namely by geometric calculation model until 2030 is 2.773 people and Kneads clean water until 2030 based on the projected population of 2.773 is 1,2 liters / second.; (2) Planning the clean water piping network of this system by measuring the elevation of the spring with service area is 35,07 meters with the elevation of the spring area of 721,14 MDPL and the elevation of the service area of 686,07 MDPL so that the planning of clean water network system in Plosogaden village using gravity system, then broncaptering planning to meet the needs of clean water in Plosogaden village is 2x2x1.5 meters with a reinforced concrete structure. And reservoir planning to meet clean water needs in the village of Plosogaden is 3x3x2.5m with reinforced concrete structures.

Abstract

City Parks as open spaces in urban areas should function as spaces for the interaction of city residents for various useful activities, functions, and interests. The existence of open space is an important element that can maintain the ecological sustainability of a city. Taman Tugu Suharto is located in Kelurahan Bendan Duwur, Semarang, a place marked by an 8- meter high monument, which is the meeting point between Kaligarang and Kali Kreo. At the turn of the Javanese New Year (1 sura), people perform kungkum rituals (is a kind of rituals for local people to bathe in the river) they believe, with the kungkum ritual on the night of 1 Sura, they will always get blessings and safety in the future and their wishes will be granted. Taman Tugu Suharto is one of the parks in Semarang that is unique and has the potential to be developed into a tourist attraction, especially to support the Green City in Semarang. This study aims at designing Taman Tugu Suharto. This park is belonging to the City Government has several obstacles, such as the unorganized park area, the absence of adequate facilities, difficult access from the riverbank to the Tugu Suharto, the limitate of the parking area, and little attention of the government to develop this area. So far, people rarely visit and use the park for purpose of recreation. Taman Tugu Suharto using 8 (eight) attributes the Green City such as green planning, green design, green community, green space, green building, green energy, green transportation, green water, and green waste. These attributes, are used as a reference in planning or developing city parks and developing more comfortable city parks that fulfill the Green Space standards in Semarang. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a landscape layout design appropriately so that it can be utilized optimally and sustainably by Semarang citizens.

Abstract

Foundation is a structure that functions to withstand loads above it and the load itself. These loads are transferred to the ground directly. The case study in this plan is the construction of the Dwi Indah Building in Selodono Village, Kediri Regency. The building has a building area of 308 m2 and a height of 16 m, with the function of the building as an inn. In this planning, the type of pile foundation is used. A Pile foundation is a type of deep foundation that divides the gravity load evenly on the ground and makes the structure of the building strong and strong. The purpose of this planning is to plan a strong pile foundation that is able to withstand the load of the Dwi Indah Building. The method used in this planning is the Meyerhoff method, with a pile diameter of 30 cm and a foundation depth of 800 cm. From the calculation results obtained (single pile bearing capacity) Pall= 42.62 tonnes greater than (maximum pile load) Pmax= 26.00 tonnes (SAFE). For the control of the yield of the buckling factor, the result is (buckling) ω= 178.61 kg/cm2 <(base stress) σ = 2400 kg/cm2 (SAFE).

Abstract

There are several factors that need to be considered in road development planning, such as soil structure, traffic conditions, rainfall, and drainage networks. These things need to be considered because they affect the quality of the road. The road guyangan – simpang empat candi is the main road with a flexible pavement structure. The structure is deemed not suitable for a load of passing vehicles. In terms of these conditions, it is necessary to change the pavement structure to the rigid pavement. The rigid pavement itself is an arrangement of road pavement structures which on the top layer uses cement concrete plates. This study aims to plan the thickness of the rigid pavement, the characteristics of the concrete, and the required budget. The method used to plan is by using the 2017 revised road pavement design manual method. The calculation results obtained concrete with quality class III with 28 days of compressive strength of 350 kg / cm2, the thickness of concrete slab 305 mm with details of the cost of Rp. 12,746,095,600.00 (Twelve billion seven hundred forty-six million ninety-five thousand six hundred rupiahs).

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is a global pandemic that is currently sweeping the world with a significantly increased and sustainable spread globally. Adjustment of the way of life and strategy of each country in handling and preventing pandemics, especially health protocols and social restrictions certainly have a huge impact on all aspects of life. The construction sector as part of the economic actors also certainly felt the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study analyzed the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on construction project work with a case study of construction project work in the Working Unit of the Railway Engineering Agency (BTP) of East Java. The method used in this study uses factor analysis on aspects of construction work. From the analysis of data obtained the dominant affected variables on aspects of construction work are changing in project design, changes in organizational structure, changes in the volume of work, changes in the type of work and rescoping.

Abstract

The land is one of the places where a building is built, so the structure depends on the ground’s strength. Clay soil is a type of has a low bearing capacity. Therefore it is necessary to conduct research that can increase soil bearing capacity. Rock ash is an artificial aggregate obtained from the by-products of a stone crusher or cement-factory. This study’s purpose is, namely, alarm and shear control of clay with the addition of rock ash. The clay soil used comes from the Trenggalek area. The percentage of adding agate is 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% of the weight of the clay. The results showed that obtained were at a percentage of 30% with Liquid Limit value of 39.00%, Plastic Limit 29.00% and Plastic Index of 10.00%. In the Direct Strong Test, clay soil with the addition of 30% of the rock tested the maximum increase in shear stress of 0.486 with a shear angle of 40 ° and a decrease in the cohesion of 0.100 kg/cm². This shows that clay soil, which can be categorized as montmorillonite soil with the addition of rock ash, can increase the stability of the clay soil.

Abstract

In order to support learning facilities, The Indonesian Railway Polytechnic Madiun plans to build a Railway Bridge, where the bridge is the dismantling of the Kertosono-Sembung BH-259 railway bridge. Before construction needs to be done an evaluation of the skeletal structure of the railway bridge.  Evaluation of the structure of the railway bridge begins with the identification of the profile of the bridge structure, the selection of loading in accordance with the means that will pass through, then continued by determining the combination of loading and modeling and running using structural analysis software.  Loading refers to PM No.60 Year 2012, while the combination of loading refers to the Indonesian Railway Technical Standard for Steel Bridge Structure (DJKA, 2006). The results of the analysis and calculation showed that the maximum deflection of bridge girder occurring at δ = 0.416 cm occurred in a joint located in the middle of the railway bridge and met the requirements of δ  ≤  δ' but based on the analysis of the dimensions of the bridge structure capacity in Software analys structure the maximum capacity ratio value at the transverse bridge girder of 2,286 exceeded the required capacity ratio value requirement. So it is necessary to re-analyze to determine the strengthening on the overstressed profile.
