Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a very dangerous disease, because it can cause complications. The survey on people with diabetes mellitus from 2019 to 2020 was 1227 cases. Successful management of diabetes mellitus can be achieved through physical activity, and balanced with adherence to taking anti-diabetic drugs as a form of pharmacological intervention. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between physical activity and blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Binjai Estate Health Center. The design of this study was cross-sectional with purposive sampling technique on 20 respondents. Data collection method using Baecke Questionnaire. Analysis using the chi square test with α = 0.05. The results of the analysis showed that there were 10 people (50%) with abnormal blood sugar levels with light physical activity, 3 people (15%) with normal sugar levels and 3 people (15%) with abnormal sugar levels having moderate physical activity, 2 people (10%) with normal blood sugar levels and 2 people (10%) with abnormal blood sugar levels had heavy physical activity. With the result value 6.667a df 2 and the value of Asymp.Sig. (2-sided) = 0.036 < = 0.05 which means this means that there is a relationship between physical activity and blood sugar levels in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients at the Binjai Estate Health Center in 2020. It is recommended for people with diabetes mellitus to always be active in doing activities. Physical activity.

Abstract

Coronary heart disease is caused disorders of the heart, blood vessels and narrowing arteries, the presence spots that accumulate in blood vessels.Coronary heart function as nutrition and O2 for heart muscle cells. Family support can be used very important coping strategy overcome problems that occur. This study aims determine the relationship between family support and self motivation with adherence taking medication coronary heart patients Poli RSUD dr. Haryoto Lumajang The design in cross sectional approach. The sampling accidental sampling where the population of the respondent was taken sample based on sample that happened to be found. The questionnaire used was Sociodemographic,Family Support, and Motivation with 66 respondents. The results of study obtained data low family support of 28 people (42.4%), low motivation of 39 people (59.1), and non-adherence to treatment of 38 people (57.6%). The correlative test there a relationship between factors Family Support and Motivation with Medication Adherence with p value of 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha accepted where there a relationship between family support and motivation with medication adherence in coronary heart patients. Family support will affect person taking treatment because external support make a person feel cared for, needed take treatment, apart from family support, self-motivation factor a person take treatment .

Abstract

General anesthesia is a loss of consciousness caused by medicine although the patient receives a stimulus. even with painful stimulus Delayed recovery of consciousness is not expected in anesthesia. Effort that can be made on delayed conscious recovery is passive range of motion (ROM) mobilization, is carried out to teach early mobilization for postoperative patient with general anesthesia. ROM exercises aim to increase muscle strength, prevent stiffness in the press, reduce circulatory disturbances, thereby speeding up recovery time. This study to determine the effect of passive range of motion (ROM) mobilization on the recovery time of patients with general anesthesia in the recovery room of Dr Haryoto Lumajang Hospital. The design of study used the Posttest Only Non Equivalent Control Grup Design, with Accidental Sampling technique. The sample consist of 15 respondents in the intervention group and 15 respondents in the control group. The collecting data used observation. The data analysis used Unpaired T Test. The result of study obtained data on the time to recover consciousness of respondents, mobilized passive ROM, recovered consciousness quickly by 11 (73,3%) respondents and prolonged by 4 (26,7%) respondents. Time to recover consciousness for respondents who did not passive ROM mobilization was all of them recovered consciousness prolonged as many respondents (100,0%). There was an effect of range of motion (ROM) mobilization on the conscious recovery time of patients with general anesthesia in the recovery room of Dr Haryoto Lumajang Hospital with p-value of 0,000 ≤ α = 0.05.

Abstract

. One of the plants that can be used is coconut pulp which is the product of coconut fruit waste (Cocos nucifera L). The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of coconut pulp raw materials (Cocos nucifera L) in body scrub cream preparations. The research method used was quantitative with an experimental research design by making a body scrub cream from coconut pulp with the concentration of coconut pulp used was 10g, 15g, and 20g. Data analysis used a one-way anova statistical test. The results obtained in the organoleptical test obtained all preparations have a rough texture, brownish white color, fresh smell, semi-solid shape. In the homogeneity test all preparations are homogeneous. In the pH test, all pH preparations were in the range of 7 in accordance with the pH standard, namely 4.5-8. The spreadability test shows that the three formulations have values ranging from 6 cm where the standard spreadability of cream preparations is 5-7 cm, for the one-way ANOVA statistical test shows p < 0.05 which means there is a significant difference between all formulations. The adhesion test shows that the three formulations have an adhesion test value ranging from 4-5 seconds where the adhesion has a standard that is> 1 second, for the one-way ANOVA statistical test shows p < 0.05, which means there is a significant difference between all formulations. Suggestions for researchers are that further research needs to be carried out by combining coconut pulp with other ingredients.

Abstract

One way to control this mosquito vectois by using larvicides derived from cashew leaves. Cashew leaf extract (Anacardium occidentale Linn) is thought to have an effect as a larvicide against Aedes aegpti because it has various active metabolite substances in the form of flavonoids, alkaloids, and tannins that can inhibit the development and growth of Aedes aegpti larvae. The purpose of this study is to determine the larvicidal effectiveness of cashew leaf extract (Anacardium occidentale Linn) against Aedes aegpti larvae. This research design used experimental with the research subjects as many as 30 Aedes agypti IsntaIII larvae. The research subjects were divided into 4 treatment groups. The concentrations used in this study were 8%, 9%, 10% negative control (Aquades), positive control (Abate). Observations were made at 6 hours, 12 hours, 18 hours, and 24 hours aftetreatment with replication foutimes. Data were analyzed by Kolgomorov-Sminorv test and continued with Kruskal-Wallis test and then calculation of Lethal concentration value using probit analysis. Probit analysis results LC50 value was at a concentration of 9.242% and LC90 value was at a concentration of 9.504%. Cashew leaf extract (Anacardium occidentale Linn) had a larvicidal effect against Aedes aegpti larvae at LC50 with a concentration of 9.242%. The Conclusion cashew leaf extract (Anacardium occidentale Linn) at a concentration of 9.242% was able to kill 50% of Aedes aegpti larvae exposed fo24 hours. Future researchers are expected to improve the provision of extracts by combining them with othetypes of extracts.
