Abstract

This study examines the effects of money supply, exchange rate, inflation, and interest rate on bank credit in Indonesia using monthly time-series data from January 2004 to December 2024. The study applies the Autoregressive Distributed Lag approach and the Error Correction Model to distinguish short-run dynamics from long-run relationships. The selected ARDL model shows that money supply has a positive and significant short-run effect on bank credit, highlighting the role of liquidity in banking intermediation. Exchange rate movements exert significant lagged effects, suggesting that external monetary pressures influence credit gradually. Inflation negatively affects bank credit with a lag, indicating that price instability may weaken credit expansion. Conversely, the interest rate is not retained in the optimal model, implying a weaker direct transmission effect. The Bounds Test does not confirm cointegration, suggesting no stable long-run equilibrium. Overall, Indonesian bank credit is more responsive to short-run macroeconomic fluctuations than to persistent long-run relationships during the period.

Abstract

Watering of Family Medicinal Plants located in government institutions should not follow a regular interval. As they require adequate water to grow, over-watering can lead to wastage of water and can decrease efficiency in plant maintenance. The plants are typically watered by employees manually based on a schedule or by checking up on the plants. But, at times soil moisture can vary at any hour of the day and irrigation might not happen if a person is not available to check. There are chances of overwatering or underwatering the plants. In this paper we propose a system which uses Internet of Things to monitor the soil moisture level and make irrigation automated. NodeMCU ESP8,266 acts as the main controller of the system. A soil moisture sensor is used to sense the amount of water present in the medium where the plants are growing. A relay module is used to control the pump, a water pump is used to water the plants and finally an I2C LCD is used to display the real time information. We also use IoT Watering platform to display the monitoring data and control the system over internet. We performed field study, literature survey, requirement study, system design, implementation and testing of the prototype. The results showed that the system sensed the soil moisture levels and send the data to monitoring platform and display the data in real time. The water pump is used to water the plants automatically. If the moisture level falls below the threshold which is set in the system, the pump will switch on. If the moisture level is enough for the plants to survive, then the pump will switch off. This system allows us to have better control over watering of plants, measure the efficiency and make the process faster.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of ethics-based leadership, organizational conflict management, continuous learning, and employee empowerment on employee performance at Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study were all employees of Imam Bonjol State Islamic University, Padang, with a sample of 70 respondents determined using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that partially ethics-based leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational conflict management has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, continuous learning has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and employee empowerment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, ethics-based leadership, organizational conflict management, continuous learning, and employee empowerment have a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination value of 0.650 indicates that 65% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the four independent variables, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the research model. The results of this study confirm that improving employee performance requires the implementation of ethical leadership, effective conflict management, strengthening a culture of continuous learning, and integrated and sustainable employee empowerment.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of domestic tourist expenditure on the economy of West Sumatra Province using the Input-Output approach. The scope of the study is focused on sectors related to tourism activities, particularly intersectoral linkages and the formation of regional economic output. The objective of this study is to examine the development of domestic tourist expenditure, the patterns of forward and backward linkages among tourism-related sectors, and their contribution to the regional economy. This study uses secondary data from BPS, the Ministry of Tourism, and other related sources, with Leontief Input-Output analysis updated through the RAS method. The results show that the increase in the number of domestic tourist visits is not always followed by an increase in expenditure, so the resulting economic impact is not always optimal. Transportation, trade, accommodation, and food and beverage sectors play an important role in spreading multiplier effects to other sectors. Domestic tourist expenditure has strong potential to stimulate West Sumatra’s economic output, but its effectiveness is highly determined by the structure of intersectoral linkages and the level of tourist spending.

Abstract

POS-POS system is a POS which manages sales transactions, inventory, and daily sales reports at Haka Farma Pharmacy, but it has no sales forecasting capacity. Therefore, many judgment and judgment making processes often need to go through previous procurement to determine the inventory stocks. In order to resolve this issue, this study was aimed at creating a web-based POS system in combination with a sales forecasting component in conjunction with a simple moving average module. Development of the system is conducted using waterfall, which involves requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment of the system. The techniques employed were observational, staff interviews through pharmacy members, and through in-depth literature review. The system developed in PHP using the Laravel framework, was implemented through the MySQL database managers for system. The software's forecast module also uses SMA method to calculate the average sales volume over the last three months in order to estimate demand in the future. Functions testing and testing of system: user authentication, product management, sales transaction processing, reporting, forecasting, and error analysis were done. Testing results were not inconsistent with the specification; all the system related features were functioning as expected. From paracetamol sales data, we found a 253-unit rate expected for December 2025. The MAPE data shows strong forecasting in the form of 3.16% MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) indicating its predictive power in this study. This confirms that the developed forecasting module can assist in inventory planning, reducing uncertainty for all decision makers, and optimize operational efficiency with evidence-based control of stock in Haka Farma Pharmacy.

Abstract

Stock price predictions always a challenging issue as the price data consists of variable, noisy, non-linear time dependence. This research aims as a testing ground to compare the performance of two deep learning algorithms, long short-term memory and gated recurrent units, in predicting the end price of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, that is relatively stable compares to PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk which more volatile. Daily prices were obtained from Yahoo Finance over the previous period from January1, 2019 until Dec 1, 2025. Data cleaning, Min-Max normalization, 80:20 data split, and sequence-formation with a timestep of 60 were performed. To facilitate fair comparison and ensure that the performance differences are only due to architecture, both models were constructed with the same architecture (two layers of 50 units, 0.2 dropout, Adam optimizer, MSE loss function, and 50 epochs). It evaluated MSE, RMSE performance, MAE performance, R-squared with accuracy adjusted for a 5% tolerance range. The results suggest that GRU outperforms LSTM on both stocks. For the BBCA, GRU reached an RMSE of 101.12, MAE of 113.82, R-squared of 0.96, and tolerance accuracy of 98.52%, compared to BBNI which had an RMSE of 62.95, MAE of 71.24, R-squared of 0.92, and tolerance accuracy of 94.11%. This performance led us to realize that GRU is the numerical equivalent to this technique, and on both datasets, it was computationally faster. These results reveal that simpler GRU structure is more adaptive, especially with stocks of high volatility like BBNI.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder that demands continuous and disciplined self-management to prevent severe systemic complications. Despite its critical importance, patient adherence to regular blood glucose tracking, dietary restrictions, and medication schedules remains low in Indonesia. This study addresses these challenges by developing and evaluating DiabetesKu, a native mobile health application designed to facilitate independent diabetes management. Engineered using Android Studio with the Kotlin programming language, the system implements the Model-View-ViewModel MVVM architecture to decouple business logic from the user interface, while leveraging the Firebase cloud ecosystem for secure, real-time data synchronization and automated reminder deployment. The application integrates core features such as interactive health logging, contextual diabetes education, medication alarms, macronutrient tracking, and direct consultation channels. To evaluate its structural integrity and operational viability, a multi-tiered testing framework was applied. Automated Black Box testing using the Espresso framework across ten critical functional scenarios achieved a 100% success rate, confirming high code stability. Furthermore, field usability evaluations involving active diabetes patients demonstrated an outstanding cumulative satisfaction rate of 91.7%, with users highly praising its clinical usefulness, navigational simplicity, and visual accessibility. The empirical results demonstrate that DiabetesKu is a highly reliable and user-accepted digital health solution capable of promoting patient compliance and reinforcing independent lifestyle control in daily diabetes care.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the influence of professionalism on organizational commitment, the influence of professionalism on employee performance, the influence of organizational commitment on employee performance, and the influence of professionalism on employee performance through organizational commitment. This study employs an explanatory research method. The sample consists of 47 employees of the Malang City Civil Service and Human Resources Agency. The sampling technique used was a census. The statistical analysis used was SmartPLS. The study's findings confirm that professionalism not only has a significant direct impact on boosting employee commitment and performance, but also has indirect effects. A competent work attitude and strong work ethic have been shown to strengthen employee loyalty to the organization, which in turn leads to increased productivity and collective performance.

Abstract

One of the sectors with strong potential to increase Blitar Regency’s Regional Own Revenue is the Lahor Tourism Area. Retribution income from this area contributes significantly to the total retribution income, yet remains under-optimized due to internal and external challenges such as monitoring weaknesses, technical issues in collection, and competing destinations. This study applies a novel methodological approach by combining micro-level revenue estimation based on vehicle sampling with SWOT analysis to assess potential revenue and formulate optimization strategies. The findings reveal that the potential retribution revenue reaches IDR 2.89 billion per year, far exceeding actual collections, and that the management condition is classified under the PRIMA category. This explicit methodological novelty contributes to the literature on local revenue and tourism levy optimization by demonstrating how micro-estimation techniques can be systematically integrated with strategic analysis. In practical terms, the results provide policy implications for the Blitar Regency Government in designing more effective and transparent retribution management systems.
