Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of budget management, management information systems, and agile leadership on employee job satisfaction in the digital era at the Sungai Penuh City Trade and Industry Office. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test partial and simultaneous effects between variables. The results showed that budget management had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, indicating that effective, transparent, and accountable budget management can support task implementation and increase comfort and security at work. Management information systems also proved to have a positive and significant effect, as the availability of accurate, timely, and easily accessible information helps improve work efficiency and reduce administrative burdens. Furthermore, agile leadership had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, indicating that an adaptive, communicative, and participatory leadership style can create a conducive work environment. Simultaneously, these three variables had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The regression model used was able to explain most of the variation in job satisfaction, making these three factors important determinants in improving employee job satisfaction in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance in home-based bakery businesses in Padang City, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research employs a quantitative approach using a causal method. The population consists of all employees from five home-based bakeries in Padang City, namely SF Bakery, Adeng, Bintang Kejora, Husna, and Rafi, with a total sample of 35 respondents selected through total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that work motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, work discipline significantly influences employee performance, while work motivation does not have a direct significant effect on performance. However, work motivation indirectly affects employee performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Similarly, work discipline also has an indirect effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. The study concludes that job satisfaction plays a crucial role as a mediating variable in improving employee performance. Therefore, enhancing work motivation and discipline should be accompanied by efforts to improve job satisfaction in order to achieve optimal employee performance.

Abstract

The growth of the healthcare industry, especially in Bandung, has created a competitive environment, requiring clinics to adopt digital marketing strategies and maintain service quality to attract patients' decisions in seeking treatment. Technological developments in the healthcare world have driven changes in patient behaviour in seeking healthcare information and services. This study aims to analyse the influence of digital marketing and service quality on the decision to choose a clinic in Bandung. Using a quantitative causal explanatory approach, data were collected through an online questionnaire from 150 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Respondent criteria included domicile in Bandung, active social media users, and having visited a clinic in the last 6 months. The data were analysed using PLS-SEM with the Smart PLS tool. The results showed that both digital marketing and service quality had a positive and significant influence on the decision to choose a clinic. Digital marketing strategies were found to have a slightly greater influence compared to service quality, contributing 38% to people's decisions in choosing a clinic in Bandung. The practical implications of this study suggest that clinic managers should be more active in managing digital platforms while maintaining and promoting higher-quality services to gain more loyal patients.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital games has increased the need for a strong psychological foundation in the game development process. Psychology plays a crucial role in understanding how players think, feel, stay motivated, and behave, all of which directly influence player engagement and overall gaming experience. This study aims to systematically examine the role of psychology in digital game development through a literature-based approach. A systematic literature review method was employed by selecting reputable scholarly journal articles published within a specific time frame from major academic databases. The selected articles were then analyzed and categorized based on branches of psychology and their applications in game development. The findings indicate that cognitive psychology, motivational psychology, emotional psychology, and social psychology are the most frequently applied fields, particularly in gameplay design, user experience, and player engagement. However, research gaps remain, especially regarding the integration of psychological theories during the early stages of game design. This study highlights the importance of psychology as both a theoretical and practical foundation in digital game development.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media has transformed marketing communication strategies, particularly in engaging Generation Z consumers. This study aims to examine the role of influencer credibility comprising trustworthiness, expertise, and attractiveness in shaping parasocial interaction and its impact on purchase decision within the context of traditional cosmetic brand repositioning. Specifically, this research focuses on the collaboration between Puteri Indonesia influencers and Mustika Ratu on Instagram. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method with purposive sampling, involving Generation Z respondents who actively use Instagram and have been exposed to influencer marketing content. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results reveal that all dimensions of influencer credibility have a positive and significant effect on both parasocial interaction and purchase decision. Furthermore, parasocial interaction demonstrates a strong influence on purchase decision and serves as a significant mediating variable in the relationship between influencer credibility and purchase decision.
