Abstract

Beans are a kind of edible beans. Beans are rich in protein and vitamins that help lower blood pressure and monitor blood sugar metabolism and are equated with being eaten by those who suffer from diabetes or hypertension. High fiber and enzyme content can help you lose weight. In peanut cultivation it needs to be optimized considering the consumption needs are not comparable with production, One way to increase the productivity of peanut plants is proper fertilization, such as by using organic fertilizers. This study aims (i) to determine the effect of EMRAS on the growth and yield of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) on swampy swamp land. (ii) Getting the best concentration between EMRAS and growth and yield of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) on swamp swamp land. This research was carried out on swamp swamp land in Teluk Buluh Village, Banjang District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency in May - July 2013, using a Randomized Block Design (RBD), with 6 treatments and 4 replications, resulting in 24 experimental units and each experiment. consists of 2 sample plants, so that the total sample is 48 plants. The factors tested were the provision of EMRAS, e0 = 0% (0 l/beds), e1 = 25% (0,25 l/beds), e2 = 50% (0,5 l/beds), e3 = 75% (0,75 l/beds), e4 = 100% (1 l/beds) and e5 = 125% (1,25 l/beds). The results showed that the observation variables of EMRAS administration affected plant height, number of productive branches, number of pods per plant, and pod wet weight per plant with the best administration at 100% concentration (1 l / bed)

Abstract

This research has two objectives, namely to determine soybean industry overview in sub Barabai and calculating the amount of value added generated by the soybean industry in the Barabai District Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. The research was conducted at tempe existing tempe industrial business in the District Barabai Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency. The method used in analyzing the data available from industry employers in the Barabai District Hulu Sungai Tengah is to use the formula of gross value added, net value added, and value-added raw materials. The calculations associated with the equipment used, the main raw material, and auxiliary raw materials used in the process of making tempe. Based on the results of research conducted on the existing soybean industry in the District Barabai gross value added generated from all respondents of Rp 56.247.500, net value added generated amounted to Rp 48.062.500, while for value-added raw materials amounting to Rp 125.363/Kg. Abstract

Maize production in Hulu Sungai Uatara Regency is still low compared to other food commodities because the land used is lebak wetland. The problem with lebak wetland is low soil fertility. One solution to improve the performance of growth and yield of corn plants is by using semi-organic fertilizers. The purpose of the study (i) was to determine the performance of growth and yield of sweet corn on doses of semi-organic fertilizer on swamp lebak (ii) to obtain the best dosage of semi-organic fertilizer that showed optimal growth and yield of sweet corn on lebak wetland. The study was carried out in the Pandulangan Village, Sungai Pandan Sub-District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, South Kalimantan Province, conducted in April - June 2013, using a single factor Randomized Group Design (RGD), with 5 treatment levels with 5 levels of treatment consisting of: m1 = 38 g.plot-1, m2 = 47.5 g. plot-1, m3 = 57.0 g. plot-1, m4 = 66.5 g. plot-1 and m5 = 76 g. plot-1. Each treatment consisted of 4 replications so that there were 20 experimental units. The results showed that the growth and yield of sweet corn on the application of semi-organic fertilizer on lebak wt land with the best dosage of semi-organic fertilizer was 57.0 g. plot-1 was equivalent to 300 kg. ha-1 (m3).

Abstract

This research aimed to selling forecast duck chip for five year later and know what is the matter with “Mama Ami’s” duck chip business in Kota Raden village with analysis the strengths, weaknesess, opportunities and threats. This is Research use case study method. The Instrument what to use research is SPSS software for forecase marketing, to make a marketing strategy researcher use IFE matric,EFE matric, IE matric. Based on the result forecast selling duck chip refer to selling increase continou. IFE matric result total score 3,134 and 2,521 for score EFE Matric. The score to those disposition IV sel on IE matric, that is grow and build. This disposition just up to intensive strategy dan integration strategy.

Abstract

Cayenne pepper or chilli is a fruit vegetable crops needed by the whole society as a flavoring food and medicine. In general, chilli plants can be grown in all types of soil and grow best when growing conditions are met, but the best is in the lowland soil containing sand with good porosity. This study aimed to know (i) the growth and yield response of cayenne pepper extending of multiple doses of the chicken manure fertilizer (ii) the best doses of chicken manure fertilizer on the growth and yield chili in red yellow podzolic soil. The experiment was conducted in the Timbun Tulang Village Batu Mandi District Balangan Regency from June - September 2010, using a randomized block design (RBD) a single factor, with repeated 4 times and the combination of experimental units 7 pieces, so for the entire experiment were 28 experimental plots. The results showed that treatment doses of chicken manure droppings significant effect on plant height age 14 day after planting (DAP), significant effect on plant height ages 21 and 28 DAP, age of the plant starts to flower and plant fresh weight chili. The best treatment for high-growth plant ages 14, 21 and 28 DAP, age starts to flower and fruit fresh weight chili crop is treated k5 (1.4 kg chicken manure fertilizer / planting hole).

Abstract

Corn as a food ingredient ranks second after rice, besides it is also used as animal feed ingredients and industrial raw materials. Low productivity of corn due to varied soil fertility and not using superior varieties. To increase high yields, fertilization is needed, both chemical fertilizers and organic fertilizers such as podsolic soil. The purpose of this study (i) to determine the response of growth and yield of maize to the provision of rubber processing industry waste on podsolic soil (ii) get the best dose of rubber processing industry waste for the growth and yield of corn plants on podsolic soil. The study was conducted in the village of Haruyan Seberang RT 05 Rw 02 Kec. Haruyan Kab, Hulu Sungai Tengah, from April - June 2012, used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications, so that there were 25 experimental units. The factors tested were the administration of several doses of rubber industry waste, namely (k0) without treatment, (k1) 10 t.ha-1 = 3.4 kg.plot-1, (k2) 20 t.ha-1 = 6.8 kg.plot-1, (k3) 30 t.ha-1 = 10.2 kg.plot-1 and (k4) 40 t.ha-1 = 13.6 kg.plot-1. The results showed the response of corn stalk diameter aged 21 and 28 DAP, number of leaves aged 14 DAP and length of corn cobs planted; there was no response of plant height aged 14, 21 and 28 DAP, stem diameter of 14 DAP, number of leaves aged 21 and 28 DAP and weight of ear of crop on treatment of dosing of rubber industry waste. The best dose of rubber processing industry waste for growth and yield of corn plants is 40 t.ha-1 (13.6 kg.plot-1).

Abstract

Celery plants like planting media that have lots of water but are not flooded. Water hyacinth grows on swamps and has the potential to be a source of organic fertilizer. The successful use of water hyacinth as compost material will provide multiple benefits. Besides being able to obtain compost which can restore soil fertility, it can also reduce losses caused by water hyacinth. This study aims to (i) determine the effect of compost from various parts of water hyacinth on the growth and yield of celery plants, (ii) obtain the best parts of various parts of water hyacinth compost on the growth and yield of celery plants. The study was carried out in the Danau Panggang Village of Danau Panggang Subdistrict in March 2012 to May 2012, this study used Randomized block design (RBD) with one factor. The treatments that were tried were compost from various parts of water hyacinth (E) which consisted of 4 levels, namely: control e0 (without treatment), e1: bottom compost (root,) e2: upper compost (stem and root), and e3: compost all parts of the plant. The results of this study showed that the compost from the water hyacinth root (e1) was the best treatment for the observation of plant height, leaf number and wet weight of celery plants.

Abstract

Lebak wetland can generally be used as vegetable cultivation land with proper handling. Lebak wetland land has a complex chemical problem. Giving organic material is one way to improve some soil chemical properties. The aim of this research is (i) to know the effect of guano organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of cucumber plants on lebak wetland (ii) to get the best dose of guano organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of cucumber plants on lebak wetland. The research was conducted in the Pasar Senin Village, Amuntai Tengah District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency from May - July 2012. This study used a randomized block design (RBD), with 5 treatments and 5 replications, so there are 25 units, and each treatment there are 4 plants. Factor test in the guano organic fertilizer that g0 = 0 kg.plot-1, g2 = 0.5 kg.plot-1, g3 = 0.1 kg.plot-1, g4 = 1.5 kg.plot-1 and g5 = 2 kg.plot-1 . Results of this study showed that treatment dosing guano organic fertilizer which was highly significant on plant height ages 7, 14 and 21 DAP, number of leaves aged 7, 14 and 21 DAP, number of fruits, fruit weight and length of the fruit. The best dose of guano organic fertilizer is 10 t.ha-1 equivalent to 1 kg.plot-1 (g2).

Abstract

Watermelon come from arid tropical and subtropical regions of Africa. Watermelon is an annual plant that grows and requires full sun. Lebak swamp soil is known to have the properties and properties of acid sulphate soils that affect the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil. Fertilizers are the key to soil fertility. Compound fertilizer is a fertilizer that contains several nutrients, for example nutrients (nitrogen), potassium (K) and phosphorus (P). This study aims (i) to obtain influence and (ii) the best dosage of various applications of NPK Compound fertilizer dosage on the growth and yield of watermelon plants on lebak wetland. The study was conducted in Teluk Buluh Village, Banjang District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency in July - September 2013, this study used a single randomized block design (RBD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications so that there were 25 experimental units. The factors tested were various doses of Compound NPK fertilizer, namely m1: 0.333 t.ha-1 (200 g / bed), m2: 0.666 t.ha-1 (400 g / bed), m3: 0.999 t.ha-1 ( 600 g / bed), m4: 1,332 t.ha-1 (800 g / bed) and m5: 1,665 t.ha-1 (1000 g / bed). The results of this study indicate that the dosage of Compound NPK fertilizer given to watermelon plants in swampland area had a significant effect on plant length and number of leaves aged 25 HST and 30 HST and had a very significant effect on the fruit weight and number of watermelon plants with the best treatment is m3: 0.999 t.ha-1 (600 g / bed).

Abstract

Peanuts is one type of secondary crop which ranks third after corn and soybeans. Peanuts have long been used as food, while by-products can be used as animal feed. In connection with the problem of lack of fertility in lebak wetland soil, in order to produce high production with good quality, efforts need to be made to add nutrients. Rice washing water has a high carbohydrate content. Carbohydrates can be an intermediary for the formation of the hormones auxin and giberelin. Two types of ingredients that are widely used in artificial growth stimulants. This study aims (i) to determine the growth response and yield of peanut plants to the provision of brown rice washing water on lebak wetland, (ii) to find out the best time interval for brown rice washing water for plant growth and yield peanuts on lebak wetland. This research was conducted in Banyu Tajun Pangkalan Village, Sungai Pandan Sub-District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency from April to June 2013, using randomized complete design (CRD) with single factor. The factors studied were the brown rice washing water interval. The results showed that the treatment did not affect the observation of plant height and number of branches, and had a very significant effect on the variables observed in the number of crop pods, wet weight of crop pods, and dry weight of plant pods. The results of this study indicate that the best treatment is at p5 (6 days).
