Background. Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is an inpatient room with patients who has critical disease and must be monitored every hour, attached devices, and intensive treatment. When the patient has woken up to a different room and attached devices such as ETT, OPA, mechanical ventilator, and others can cause anxiety to the patient. This anxiety can enhance the hemodynamic status, therefore it is necessary to have an independent nurse action, namely Swedish massage therapy to reduce the level of Anxiety and stabilize vital signs.Method. The method of implementation was used a case study with a cross sectional design. Total respondents were 6 respondents and divided into two groups, namely the intervention group 3 respondents and the control group 3 respondents. The implementation was conducted in ICU RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo.Result. There was a differentiation in anxiety level in the intervention group, respondents who feel quite anxious became a less anxious. The differentiation in hemodynamic status were more stable in the intervention group than in the control group.Conclusion. Swedish massage therapy can reduce anxiety levels and stabilize vital signs in patients in the ICU.

Introduction: Data from the Kidney Foundation Diatrans Indonesia stated that the number of patients with renal failure in Indonesia is estimated to increase 4,400 patients each year. One of the adverse effects of chronic kidney disease is the disorder of blood filtration. Interventions applicable to patients with impaired filtration include hemodialysis therapy. Complications that often occur in patients undergoing hemodialysis are hemodynamic disorders, especially blood pressure to drop or intradialytic hypotension. Objective: This study aims to review some literature on the effect of ultrafiltration rate on blood pressure of patients with chronic kidney disease who undergo hemodialysis. Method: Journal article search is done electronically using multiple databases: PubMed database, Google Scholar, Science Direct and Mendeley from January 2007 to November 2017. Keywords used were "Ultrafiltration / Ultrafiltration rate", "Blood Pressure", "intradialytic intradialytic / intradialytic hypertension", "Hemodialysis", "Chronic Kidney Disease / CKD" to obtain three articles for review. Result: Ultrafiltration rate can be expressed as having an effect on blood pressure in a hemodialysis patient. Discussion: When hemodialysis, ultrafiltration is done to attract excess fluid in the blood. The amount of fluid secreted during hemodialysis can affect the drop in blood pressure due to a decrease in the volume of blood being pumped. This is related to the reduced volume of strokes produced by the heart. Conclusions: Ultrafiltration rate affects the blood pressure of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Background. Delirium in critically ill patients who have decreased consciousness is a case that?s found in the ICU. Disorientation and anxiety are common characteristics shown in delirium patients. Collaboration between nurses and patients can be done by giving reorientation through voice recording of family members in delirium patients in the ICU.Methods. Implementation is carried out using experimental studies with a pre-post control group. Six patients were selected by simple random sampling technique which was divided into three groups. The criteria for patients in implementation included, patients aged > 18 years, entering the ICU within ? 24 hours, and positive delirium based on the score of the Confusion Assessment Method for the ICU (CAM-ICU) assessment.Results. There was a change in the family voice intervention group with an RASS rating scale. But in the three groups, patients were still diagnosed with delirium positive after being given an implementation based on the CAM-ICU rating scale.Conclusion. Giving reoriented message recordings using family voice can be used to reduce symptoms of delirium in patients undergoing treatment in the ICU.

Introduction. Stroke is a sortie that occurs in the brain that involves blood vessels in the brain (blockage or cracked) and finally manifests in a various of symptoms (starting from paralysis, interference of swallowing and speaking, etc.). This disease is differentiated into ischemic-infarct strokes and hemorrhagic strokes. In Indonesia, this disease has increased from 7% to 10.9%. It indicates that stroke is a disease that is quite dangerous and needs an appropriate handling or rehabilitation.Objective. This study aims to collect and analyze articles relating to the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy as a stroke management.Method. Search for journal articles is done electronically by using several databases, namely DOAJ, PubMed and Google Scholar with the keywords "Acupunture for post stroke" for international journals, whereas for national journals using the Google Scholar search engine with the keyword "Acupuncture therapy in post-stroke patients", the journal sought is an intervention journal with PICO frame work criteria (Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome). From the results of the review there were 5 journals that were relevant to the topic. The journal consists of 3 international journals and 2 national journals, the next step is to review the five journals.Results. Acupuncture therapy is effective for improving post-stroke rehabilitation. This therapy is giving a puncture to Meridian Yang Ming to facilitate the flow of the Ci-Meridian. In this meridian there is a complicated connection system called acupoints (acupuncture points) that binds or relates to various functions of the body and organs. In stroke patients, due to some nerve pathways have been closed it is difficult to maintain the opened circulation. With stimulation of acupuncture at some acupuncture points, it opens the blood vessels and improves the blood flow. Based on the results obtained from the research, acupuncture is quite effective in handling the rehabilitation of stroke patients. In order to feel the results optimally, stroke patients are recommended not only to do the acupuncture therapy. But also the other therapeutic activities.Discussion. The results of this test provide a general picture in the intervention group, that acupuncture therapy interventions can open up blood vessels so that the various effects or complications of stroke disease can be decreased.Conclusion. Acupuncture thrapy is effective for the successful rehabilitation of post-stroke patients..
