One of disturbance that commonly appear form children who has down syndrome is enuresis (bedwetting). One of therapy that is believed has an effect of enuresis frequency is acupressure. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of acupressure on the frequency of enuresis in children with Down syndrome. This research uses a pre- experimental design approaching Non - randomized pretest - Posttest Design. This study was 30 down Syndrome children suffering enuresis in disability elementary school (Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa) Kuncup Mas Banyumas. Sampel was taken by total sampling method.  Statistical analysis test used is the paired t test and ANOVAThe results show there is significant differences of acupressure towards frekwensi enuresis of Down syndrome children suffering enuresis with p value at 0.000. In Indonesia, an estimated number of infants up to 30% of the 250 million population of Indonesia, and according to the Household Health Survey (Survey) is estimated to number of infants who already control defecation and urination in the preschool years to reach 75 million children. The sampling technique used total sampling technique. The sample size was 136 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire and the data were analyzed using the correlation Pearson test.Results.The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents were female (93.4%) and less student live with parents (21.3%). The average score of SRL and AI values is relatively high. A Pearson correlation showed there was a weak, positive correlation between SRL and AI which was statistically significant in nursing students of Health Sciences Faculty (r = 0.399; p < 0.001).Conclusion. A better self regulated learning is associated with a better academic integrity.

Abstract

Background: Low Birth Weigh Babies (LBWB) were at high risk of experiencing hyphothermia and lack of nurtition due to the weakness in suction reflex. That issue could be a cause for babies to be long hospitalized. The risk can be tackled with practicing the right breastfeeding technique and Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) technique. Method: This type of research was quantitative with quasy experimental pretest and posttest with control group design. The sampling technique used quota sampling. Each group had 18 repondents made the total of respondents to be 36 people. The instruments in this research were observation sheets of breastfeeding and KMC. Result: It was obtained the score of breastfeeding with P value = 0.005 and KMC with P value = 0.016 in which both had P value = <0.05. There was significant difference of the video on the mother skill of breastfeeding and KMC. Conclusion: Home care video for Low Birth Weight Baby was effective in improving the parent’s skill on breastfeeding and KMC technique.

Abstract

Background: The development task of the age, menarche of age commonly occured at the average of under 12 years old to 14 years old. The purpose of the present study was to analized the factors related with the early menarche.Research Methodology: The research design in this study used analytical descriptive with case control approach. The population in this study was 303 respondents, and 68 respondent was selected by simple random sampling (both in early menarche and normal menarche). The independent variable including social economy (income), adult mass media exposure, and lifestyle, the dependent variable was the incidence of early menarche. The data were collected by using questionnaire and the data were analized by using Chi Square statistical test with 5% significant level (? ? 0.05) and logistic regression. Results: The results of this study showed that 76.5% of participant who have unhealthy lifestyle were experienced early menarche, and 67.6% of the participant who exposed of adult mass media were experienced early menarche. Moreover, 85.3% of the participant who have high income of their parent said that they got early menarche. Based on Chi Square test found that there were relationship between lifestyle (p = 0.003), mass media exposure (p = 0.029), high parent income (P = 0.000) and the prevalence of early menarche. The dominant factors associated with early menarche events in adolescents were income (OR = 24.433, 95% CI: 2.148-277.885).Conclusion: Early menarche was associated with the unhealthy lifestyle, adult mass media exposure, and has a high income of their parent. The female adolecent who got early menarche should have an efforts to prevent the impact of early menarche (risk of breast cancer, uterine myoma) by controlling ideal body weight, a low-fat diet, consuming fruits, vegetables and doing exercise.

Abstract

Background problem: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) prevalence in Indonesia based on the results of basic health Research (RISKESDAS) year 2013 is 2.1%, in Central Java  18.33%. Banyumas District has an incidence rate of 1,417 in 2014 and Sumbang Sub-district has the highest incidence rate of DM type 2. Management in DM sufferers is integrated, including eating arrangements, physical activity, education, and medicines. Meal arrangement for patients with type 2 DM includes setting against 3J: number, type and meal schedule in a day. Patients with DM who have already run a diet program has not been able to control blood glucose properly. Food arrangement often fails due to the disobedience of sufferers in running their diet. Many factors affect dietary compliance, among them the level of education, level of knowledge, self-motivation, family support and the role of health workers. Objective: To determine the factors that affect the compliance of diet in diabetes mellitus type 2 patients in Sumbang Sub-district of Banyumas. Methods: The studies used are cross sectional, the level of compliance seen from 3J, i.e. precise amounts, precise types and precise schedules. Samples taken from DM patients who are in Prolanis present during laboratory examination in June 2019. Sampling technique using total sampling.
