Abstract

Kipas angin adalah perangkat yang umum digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari untuk memberikan kenyamanan termal di dalam ruangan. Namun, penggunaan kipas angin yang konvensional sering kali tidak efisien karena untuk mengoperasikannya, diperlukan gerak aktif dan penekanan tombol trigger ON/OFF kipas secara manual. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukanlah perancangan alat dengan tujuan untuk mengatur level kecepatan motor kipas secara otomatis dengan mendeteksi jumlah orang dalam ruangan. Pendeteksian objek manusia secara real-time dalam penelitian ini memanfaatkan model deep-learning YOLOv8 nano. Hasil eksperimen pelatihan menunjukkan model ini mampu mendeteksi objek dengan rata-rata presisi yang cukup tinggi yaitu mencapai 92,1%. Ketika tidak ada objek manusia yang terdeteksi, sistem secara otomatis akan menonaktifkan motor kipas angin untuk menghemat energi listrik. Begitu juga, ketika objek manusia terdeteksi, motor kipas angin akan diaktifkan kembali dengan level kecepatan motor kipas yang disesuaikan dengan jumlah objek yang teridentifikasi. Konsep perancangan prototipe ini diharapkan dapat membatu pengembang selanjutnya dalam merealisasikan model sistem ini untuk memodifikasi sistem kerja dari model kipas angin konvensional.

Abstract

Metode umum yang digunakan dalam menguji kapasitas baterai adalah dengan menggunakan Constant Current Discharger. Metode ini akan menarik arus baterai secara konstan sehingga nilai arus yang ditarik dari baterai akan selalu bernilai tetap walaupun tegangan baterai berkurang. Salah satu manfaat dari penerapan metode ini adalah dapat menentukan nilai kapasitas baterai dengan tepat. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan beberapa komponen untuk mencapai arus yang konstan yaitu MOSFET sebagai perangkat switch, Resistor Shunt sebagai sensor arus, dan Op-Amp sebagai perangkat komparator yang akan membandingkan nilai pembacaan arus berupa tegangan pada sisi resistor shunt yang dihubungkan pada pin negatif Op-Amp dengan tegangan referensi yang diberikan pada pin positif Op-Amp. Rangkaian ini berhasil mendischarge baterai lithium 3000mAh dengan arus yang konstan sebesar 1.5A.

Abstract

This paper provides a comprehensive harmonic picture of Photovoltaic operations integrated with the Electric Power System (Photovoltaic on-grid). Harmonics in Photovoltaic on-grid are generated from the inverter. One way to reduce harmonics is by installing a filter. Apart from reducing harmonics, filters can improve the system power factor value. This research examines the effect of variations in Photovoltaic on-grid filter parameters on inverter power capacity using Simulink/Matlab simulation. The FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) method is used to determine the harmonic order and THD of the current and voltage of the system on the side before and after the filter. The simulation results show changes in filter parameter variations for Qc (Var) values ​​giving THDi and THDv values ​​before and after filter installation using the FFT approach.

Abstract

Electric energy is a vital resource extensively used in various sectors such as industry, offices, agriculture, and trade. Its significance in supporting a nation's economy is undeniable, making the monitoring of power consumption and quality crucial. This study focuses on designing and implementing an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system for overvoltage protection in an electrical power system. The power system incorporates an Over Voltage Relay (OVR) as a protective measure against voltage fluctuations that may harm the equipment. The OVR operates based on electromagnetic principles, promptly responding to deviations in voltage beyond specified limits. Additionally, the system integrates the PZEM-004T module for measuring voltage, current, power, frequency, energy, and power factor, providing comprehensive insights into the electrical system's performance. The heart of the IoT-based monitoring system is the ESP32-32D module, facilitating real-time monitoring and remote control through the Blynk application. The implemented system successfully detects overvoltage conditions, automatically triggers protective measures, and allows users to monitor the power system through an intuitive interface.The study concludes with an evaluation of the average voltage measured by the OVR, emphasizing the system's reliability and potential for further industrial applications. The average OVR voltage, determined to be approximately 239 Volts, provides a comprehensive overview of measurement consistency throughout the experiments. This research contributes to the enhancement of electrical power management, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of overvoltage protection through IoT-based monitoring systems. Further evaluations and advancements could optimize the system's performance for broader industrial applications.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal effective design and content strategies to enhance the attractiveness of a website-based lobster export sales portal. These strategies are developed to capture attention and maintain buyer interest while integrating a one-month forward price prediction feature using linear regression. The research methodology involves implementing the Scrum method for website project management and multiple linear regression to forecast lobster prices. The focus lies on Scrum implementation in designing the sales portal and incorporating lobster price prediction features on the website. The research results demonstrate the successful development of the website using the Scrum framework within three sprints. Feasibility testing with Blackbox Testing aligns with expectations. Multiple linear regression is utilized to predict lobster prices, yielding a forecasted price of 587.3 for the 57th month. With a changing formula each month, the model aims for greater accuracy in anticipating lobster price fluctuations related to seasonal dynamics and specific events. This research provides insights into the implementation of Scrum in website design and practical applications of lobster price prediction in the context of export sales.

Abstract

Quadrotor merupakan salah satu tipe UAV yang paling sering digunakan pada daerah yang berbahaya dan sulit dijangkau. Hal ini dikarenakan quadrotor memiliki kemampuan yang unik, seperti hovering dan VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing). Untuk mendapatkan kemampuan penerbangan quadrotor secara otomatis yang baik, pengendalian tracking attitude sangat diperlukan agar lintasan orientasi yang diharapkan bisa diperoleh. Untuk menghindari kondisi singularitas dan double covering, attitude direpresentasikan dengan sebuah matrix rotasi (SO(3)), sehingga quadrotor dapat melakukan manuver dengan sudut yang lebih besar. Dalam pengaturan tracking attitude, angular velocity yang diinginkan bergantung pada attitude yang diharapkan. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa angular velocity pada pengendalian tracking attitude mempunyai dinamika tersendiri. Oleh karena itu, untuk mentracking attitude sebuah quadrotor, angular velocity yang diinginkan harus di hitung dengan menggunakan pengendalian inverse kinematic. Kemampuan dari pengendali yang di rancang diuji dengan cara melakukan simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak Matlab. Dari simulasi yang dilakukan, pengendali yang dihasilkan mampu mentracking perubahan attitude quadrotor dengan baik, dimana konvergensi dapat tercapai dalam kurun waktu sekitar 2 detik

Abstract

Grain-eating songbirds are often kept as a hobby. These birds have beautiful feather colors and melodious voices. One of the obstacles to maintaining songbirds is that the owner needs more time. The owner is busy working and going out of town, which can cause the bird not to get adequate feed and water, and the owner is also unable to monitor the health condition of the bird. Based on this, a songbird feeding and monitoring system based on IoT was created to monitor the remaining food and drinks in the tank using NodeMCU ESP32 as a system control and data sender to the internet. The system can provide feed and drinking water for pet birds automatically and is connected via the internet to Blynk to send monitoring results. Based on monitoring results, the feed consumption of seed-eating songbirds is 4.74 grams daily, equivalent to 43.14% of the bird's body weight.

Abstract

Diabetes is a chronic disease and can cause long-term complications if not handled properly. To prevent this, a machine learning model is needed to predict diabetes with high accuracy. This study aims to see the effect of reducing feature dimensions on model performance and to see the effect of data cleaning on model performance. This study used the Pima Indian Dataset, two models were created with different preprocessing stages. The first model was created without performing data cleansing, and the second model was created by performing data cleansing. After the next preprocessing stage, the number of features that produce the best performance is sought using Sequential Forward Selection and the model is drilled using the Support Vector Machine algorithm. After going through the training stage, the two models will be tested and their performance will be compared. The results showed that reducing the number of features made the model have better performance. And of the two types of models, the model that uses the data cleaning stage shows better performance.

Abstract

Child stunting is a major public health concern in Indonesia. This study uses the Naïve Bayes classification algorithm to assess the nutritional condition of stunted children based on demographic and anthropometric characteristics. The information used comes from the Toddler Weighing Month (Bulan Penimbangan Balita - BPB) in Majalengka Regency. Data type conversion, separating data into training and testing sets, and data normalization are all examples of preprocessing steps. The model's evaluation results reveal an accuracy of 94.65%, with precision and recall for each category of stunted nutritional status. This study makes a substantial contribution to early diagnosis and mitigation of stunting in Indonesia, as well as providing the framework for future development of more powerful predictive models.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki potensi energi terbarukan yang besar berkisar antara 4,5 – 5,5 kWh/m2 per hari. Oleh karena Indonesia berada pada garis khatulistiwa. Potensi energi ini sangat berpeluang penerapan sistem PV off-grid maupun microgrid. Global solar atlas adalah aplikasi gratis berbasis web dikembangkan membantu pembuat kebijakan, perencana, dan investor mengidentifikasi daerah-daerah intensitas radiasi surya untuk pembangkit listrik tenaga surya secara virtual di manapun di dunia. Titik koordinat pengukuran iradisi di Halaman Fakultas Teknik Unram menggunakan Solar Power Meter (SPM) pada koordinat -8,5880530, 116,0976210. Gambaran posisi pengukuran sudut azimuth 00 kemiringan panel surya 120 iradiasi global optimum 1930,2 kW/m2. Potensi PLTS rooftop Fakultas Teknik Unram, total panel PV berpotensi dipasang pada rooftop sebanyak 2.283 buah (300 Wp perpanel PV), berdaya total panel PV 684.900 Wp atau 684,9 kWp. Total energi terpotensi dibangkitkan dari keseluruhan panel PV Arah Utara dan Selatan sebesar 882,9 MWh/tahun
