Abstract

The digitization of Islamic inheritance calculation is dominated by applications focused on settling common cases (masail ammah). The majority of previous research has neither addressed nor provided solutions to specific cases of inheritance distribution. Thus, there is a challenge to develop an inheritance calculation algorithm that addresses exceptional cases within the community. This study develops a modular algorithm framework for the calculation of mawaris fiqh that includes classical mechanisms (harmony, conditions, hajb, distribution of asbabul furud and 'asobah, awl, radd, and interaction of jaddul ikhwah) so that it is not only an application of the inheritance calculator and is accompanied by a transparent pseudocode. The approach taken is normative and translates the rules of mawaris fiqh, which includes exceptional cases, into modular algorithms and object-oriented programs. The algorithm's results are then implemented and tested to ensure consistency and accuracy of the calculations. The system has been proven to be able to handle several special cases, including Umariyyatayn, awl cases, radd without 'asobah, and jaddul ikhwah complex interactions. This study contributes to the standardization of algorithms for mawaris fiqh, including classical mechanism rules with exceptional cases, an explicit modular architecture based on fiqh stages, and formal pseudocode to ensure future maintenance. This framework provides a transparent alternative to the black-box LLM trend and can be the foundation for an Islamic inheritance system algorithm that can be examined and improved.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia, driven by digital technology and social media, has elevated Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) as a key influencer of consumer purchase decisions, although moderated by psychological factors such as self-control. This study aims to analyze E-WOM's effect on purchase decisions moderated by self-control among Indonesian e-commerce users. Employing a quantitative causal-explanatory design, data were collected via Likert-scale questionnaires from 100 purposive respondents and analyzed using SEM-PLS in SmartPLS 4. Results reveal E-WOM positively and significantly influences purchase decisions (β=0.373, t=4.207, p=0.000), while self-control negatively moderates this relationship (β=-0.075, t=1.961, p=0.050), weakening E-WOM's impact at higher self-control levels. The model explains 62% variance (R²=0.620). In conclusion, while E-WOM drives purchases, self-control enables rational decision-making, offering implications for ethical e-commerce marketing.

Abstract

Productive behavior is a crucial factor in determining organizational effectiveness, particularly in labor-intensive companies that rely heavily on human resources. This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership behavior and work motivation on productive behavior among employees of PT Varindo Lombok Inti. Transformational leadership is conceptualized as leadership behavior that inspires, motivates, and encourages employees to exceed performance expectations, while work motivation reflects the internal and external drives that influence employees’ willingness to work productively. Productive behavior refers to employees’ attitudes and actions that contribute positively to work efficiency, quality, and organizational goals. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population of the study consists of employees of PT Varindo Lombok Inti, with samples selected using a purposive sampling technique based on predetermined criteria. Data were collected through structured questionnaires measured using a Likert scale. The data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test the measurement model and the structural model simultaneously. Prior to hypothesis testing, validity and reliability tests were performed to ensure that the research instruments met the required measurement standards. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership behavior has a positive and significant effect on productive behavior, suggesting that leaders who demonstrate inspirational motivation, individualized consideration, and intellectual stimulation are able to enhance employees’ productive behavior. In addition, work motivation is found to have a positive and significant effect on productive behavior, indicating that motivated employees tend to show higher levels of responsibility, initiative, and work effectiveness. Simultaneously, transformational leadership behavior and work motivation significantly influence productive behavior. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening leadership practices and employee motivation as strategic efforts to improve productive behavior and organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate differences in digital-based service quality that can be used as a competitive advantage in the B2B steelmaking industry, focusing on a case study of PT Ravana Jaya. This study examines the dimensions of responsiveness, reliability, and assurance within the SERVQUAL framework and their influence on repeat orders from customers. The method applied is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with five key informants, operational observations, and analysis of internal company documents during the period from August to September 2025, using the data analysis model from Miles and Huberman. The research findings indicate that there are significant differences in the responsiveness dimension due to limited digital readiness of services, as seen from the reliance on manual communication without a CRM system or customer portal. This study emphasizes that digital service responsiveness plays a role as an important indicator of customer loyalty and competitive advantage in the medium-sized steel fabrication sector. From a practical perspective, these results emphasize the importance of integrating CRM and real-time digital services as a strategy to increase competitiveness sustainably.
