Abstract

Transhumanism is a cultural and philosophical movement that sees humans as having the right and morphological freedom to evolve towards a posthuman state by radically modifying and enhancing human nature and capacity using the latest technologies such as genetic engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology. The posthuman that transhumanism craves is the human condition impervious to degeneration, disease, and even death. The end goal is to live longer or even immortal to enjoy unlimited happiness. By observing the development of the transhumanist agenda, there are concerns from scholars in the interdisciplinary fields of science, technology, and theology that humanity will be transformed by technology or even become marginalized and extinct. This article aims to examine transhumanism from Christian anthropology, which includes three aspects: the origin and nature of man, the reality of human life, and solutions to human problems. The results of the study show that the promise of transhumanism regarding human evolution with morphological freedom and self-determination to strive for progress towards a posthuman state is unpromising to achieve because human nature, which has fallen into sin, tends to destroy or exchange good for evil. The agenda and optimism of transhumanism to completely remove degeneration, disease, and death from human life by using the latest technology is impossible to realize because all these realities are the impact of the fall of man into sin, which can only be overcome by divine means through redemptive work of Christ which carries out the transformation of soul and body holistically

The large number of digital bank enthusiasts makes researchers interested in researching the health of digital banks. This study will investigate how much influence the bank's health level has on the profit growth of digital banks, as measured by the risk profile using NPL and LDR indicators, GCG with institutional ownership, Profitability with ROA indicators, and Capital with CAR indicators. This study utilized panel data regression analysis techniques. The Population in this study are all digital banks registered on IDX, and sampling was performed using purposive sampling techniques, so there are nine banks as a sample from 20 banks. Secondary data research using documentation study methods and literature studies for data collection. This study relies on financial statements obtained from the official web pages of every digital bank and www.idx.co.id as its data source. The research results obtained are ROA was discovered to have a statistically significant positive impact on profit growth, while NPL, LDR, CAR, and GCG had no impact. LDR and ROA were discovered to have a statistically significant positive impact on GCG, whereas NPL and CAR had no impact. According to indirect testing, GCG could not mediate the relationship between NPL, LDR, ROA, and CAR on profit growth.

Abstract

Based on the implication that brand image serves as a mediator between social media marketing and purchase decisions, Uniqlo can maximize their social media approach. This could be improved online communication, marketing that tell stories, or the application of unique social media platform characteristics that improve brand perception. This study aims to investigate the relative influence of social media marketing, product quality, and brand image on purchasing decisions. The research design chosen was causal research with purposive sampling technique. A questionnaire given to participants who met the requirements was used in this study. In this survey, a 5-point Likert scale was used (1 meaning strongly disagree and 5 meaning strongly agree). The large sample collected and surveyed in this research consisted of 200 respondents. The samples involved were Uniqlo consumers based in Indonesia. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the AMOS 24 statistical tool will be used to construct and assess the measurement model and structural model of the research design. This research has shown how social media marketing, product quality, and brand image all have a big relationship on consumers' purchase decisions to buy, both on direct influence or indirect influence mediated by brand image.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, profitability, institutional ownership, and company size on corporate value in Indonesia, by considering firm age as a moderation variable. This research focuses on primary consumer sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and obtained 295 panel data observations. Moderated regression analysis is used to estimate the interaction model of firm age on the relationship between independent variables and corporate value. The results showed that capital structure and company size had a positive influence on company value, while profitability and institutional ownership did not have a significant influence. Furthermore, firm age moderates the capital structure, as well as changes the direction of influence of institutional ownership and firm size on firm value. However, firm age does not moderate the influence of profitability on firm value. The implication of this study is the importance of considering other firm value proxies, as well as the need for grouping and testing in different economic conditions to increase the external validity.

Abstract

This research takes a different perspective by only using trade credit from third-party transactions. This research uses primary consumer sector corporates listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a purposive sampling method, obtaining a total of 235 data points. The results of this study indicate that capital structure and efficiency positively affect net trade credit. Conversely, firm age has a negative affect net trade credit When interacted with firm size, the firm age significantly has a positive effect on net trade credit. Meanwhile, efficiency consistently has a positive effect on net trade credit. The interaction effect of firm size on these factors tends to weaken. This study provides implications for the importance of using trade credit from third parties as creditworthiness, as well as further evidence regarding formal financing in the redistribution theory in Indonesian corporations.
