<![CDATA[Nowadays, pesantren as an educational and da'wah entity is faced with various challenges, one of which is the challenge of fostering and educating students to have a disciplined attitude. A pesantren that has a lot of santri must know very well about the methods and ways to shape their character. One of them is educating characters so that they are able to be disciplined in everything, both in terms of worship, school, muamalah and their daily lives in the dormitory. So that this method can be accepted by every student, the role of Islamic boarding school education in improving the disciplined character education of the students is an obligation. In applying the character of the santri, appropriate steps are needed to match the educational goals of the pesantren. One of the most basic characters that must be instilled in the student's personality is the character of discipline. The character of discipline affects all aspects of santri behavior in everyday life. By having a disciplined character, students will show other traits such as responsibility, punctuality and good time management in memorizing the Qur'an.]]>

<![CDATA[Poor learning outcomes are often occurred on history instructions at school, including in MAN Kota Batu. Among others, students of X-IPS-1 have the lowest learning outcomes. Their final examination grades on history subject were the lowest among other class. To improve this situation, a Group Investigation learning model was implemented in frame of Classroom Action Research (CAR). In this study, researchers collaborated wirth history teacher of X-IPS-1 MAN Kota Batu in conducting two cycles of CAR including (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Upon completion of the first cycle, students’ learning outcomes were good with the average grade of 79.31. Further improvement were shown on the following cycle with the average grade of 83.33. The result of this study indicates that Group Investigation model on history instruction could help students on improving their learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[The government's low attention to the welfare of honorary teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Banjarmasin is indeed very concerning. In fact, the obligations carried out by honorary teachers are no different from PNS teachers. The honorary teachers continue to carry out the same obligations as PNS teachers, namely to guide and become good educators for each student, but in reality, this great task and responsibility in educating students is not commensurate with the wages they receive. As a result, it puts honorary teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Banjarmasin at risk of being less prosperous in their quality of life.The type of research in this article is descriptive qualitative research where the data are obtained directly from honorary teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Banjarmasin with the number of informants as many as 4 (four) teachers. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Then using data analysis in the form of data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research in this article arein terms of welfare, the standard of living can be said to have not been achieved because they have to work harder to get something decent.With a very low salary income, honorary teachers are still able to fulfill their welfare. One of the needs that are met is the aspect of Physical Needs.]]>

<![CDATA[Geography symptoms are one of the materials in lectures intended for elementary school teacher education students at the Open University. Not infrequently, students feel difficulty in understanding the lesson. To increase students' understanding of geographical phenomena, augmented reality learning media was developed to improve student learning outcomes in this material. This research is research on the development of instructional media with the help of experimental research to see the effectiveness of its application. The sample was 90 elementary school teacher education students at the Open University. The results show that augmented reality is proven effective in increasing student learning outcomes in geographic phenomena in social studies. It is recommended that lecturers who teach material on geographic phenomena use this augmented reality learning media to support learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This study explains things related to the writing of Local History in North Maluku. This study aims to explain the opportunities and challenges of writing local history, several studies that have been carried out by researchers (senior historians) and young researchers (junior historians). This research is a qualitative research type of library research. The steps are as follows: (1). Topic selection; (2). Information exploration; (3). Determine the research focus; (4). Collection of data sources; (5). Preparation of data presentation; and (6). Preparation of reports. The conclusion is that the historiography of local history is a study that is always interesting to study and discuss. Local history has a very important meaning for communities living in certain geographic areas. Local history is rich in local wisdom values as part of local culture and the nation's cultural heritage. Local history is indeed not a written work as an exercise, therefore historians are required to work more seriously and be extra careful with the mastery of auxiliary sciences so as to give birth to a quality historiography.]]>

Hence, income of angklung’s show in Bandung has decreased and this made angklung community forced to adapt. This research intended to know about the income and to find alternative solution. This research used form deployment and study literature as the method. This research show that angklung’s show income decrease when this pandemic. <![CDATA[Bersih desa is a hereditary ritual that is carried out every once a year, as an expression of respect and thanks for what has been received and given.The purpose of this study was to find out (1) the background of the implementation of the village clean tradition (2) the implementation of the village clean ceremony (3) symbol changes that occurred (4) the meaning contained in the implementation of clean villages in the community in Bangun Harjo Village, Bataguh District, Kapuas Regency.The study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. White the techniques in collecting data are used by means of observation, interviews and documentation.The results of the research obtained in the field indicate that : (1) the background of the holding of this village’s clean tradition is to preserve a tradition from generation to generation for the younger generation. (2) this clean village implemented in the village of Bangun Harjo has a sense of kinship and solidarity among its very high citizens. (3) symbol changes that occur in the form of these objects are from wrapping paper side dishes to become a place for rice (ceting), entertainment used to be still traditional now has begun to be modern. (4) for community members in Bangun Harjo Village, Bataguh District, Kapuas District, the meaning of the village clean tradition reveals gratituee to the Almighty God for everything that has been given to the community, such as health and safety and the sustenance that has been gained.]]>

<![CDATA[Transportasi merupakan salah satu sektor vital dalam kehidupan manusia yang akan terus berkembang seiring dengan tingginya pemenuhan kebutuhan mobilitas yang tidak terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis eksistensi dan dinamika kehidupan sosial ekonomi pengendara becak tradisional di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman dan Saldana dan mengacu pada teori pilihan rasional yang digunakan sebagai pisau analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya penurunan eksistensi pengendara becak tradisional di Kota Malang yang signifikan disebabkan beberapa faktor diantaranya adanya peralihan becak tradisional ke becak motor (bentor) yang dilakukan sebagian besar pengendara becak. Selain itu, faktor lain yang menyebabkan adanya penurunan eksistensi yakni kemunculan transportasi online yang membuat minat masyarakat semakin hilang terhadap becak tradisional. Penurunan eksistensi pengendara becak tradisional menyebabkan adanya perubahan pada kehidupan sosial ekonomi pengendara becak tradisional. Perubahan tersebut mengarahkan pada kehidupan pengendara becak tradisional ke dalam belenggu kemiskinan. Hal tersebut dipicu keadaan yang saat ini terimbas pandemi covid-19. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini diperlukan perhatian dari Pemerintah Kota Malang serta peran masyarakat dalam menggunakan becak tradisional yang dapat dijadikan moda transportasi pilihan.]]>
